Good morning and Happy New Year, pups. Today we’re faced with solo Bobo because everyone else is off. Bobo is cross. Bobo is disappointed. Bobo is a butthead… In “Another Fiscal Flop” he whines that the deal we are heading toward is discouraging. It doesn’t involve a single hard decision. Of course, as usual, it’s the liberals’ fault. We apparently live in a welfare state, which is why we faced the Gentle Fiscal Incline. And old farts like me, who are on Medicare, are also to blame for not dying off fast enough. Not a word about bloated defense spending, as usual. He’s never once mentioned the defense budget as a potential problem. What a way to start 2013.

The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and the biscuits are out of the oven. There’s also the traditional Southern New Year’s trinity — pork for health, black eyed peas for luck, and greens for money. Not breakfast food, but you can warm up a plate later. Here’s hoping that 2013 will be a good one.
