i had a great time with jen and her family yesterday. today i enjoyed a day burning up far too many minutes on the phone with other family but totally worth it.
The munchkin has been going non-stop since the morning, ‘cept a 1/2 hr. nap at noon…! He’s been a happy camper all day long…! Tomorrow, we’re all headed down to Punalu’u…!
We’ll have to talk about getting you set up with Google voice! I can help. I’ve set up several accounts. Maybe some other people can make recommendations for headsets. This year I got a UBS microphone for my calls. The sound quality is amazing. Better than a regular land line.
If you have a broadconnection you can do it. It’s free! I the US. Not 2 cents a minute, not 2.5 cents a minute. No monthly charges or “total of 300″ talk minutes a month, but FREE. And, if you want you can get the phone number in the area that your family lives so that for them to call you is a LOCAL CALL!
hey spocko — how was your day? my inner santa got me an iphone4 for christmas…. so i can facetime with jen and steph over my wifi instead of having to use minutes at all
the worst of our rainstorm has blown through. we have some off and on again showers for a couple days and then have a few dry days forecast this weekend. hoping to see that strange yellow thing in the sky sometime soon
cool. I have an ipod touch 4g that I set up with Google voice so I can make calls for free on wifi.
If you have had an iphone before I’ll recommend one app. Flipboard. Love it, helps me read a lot of stuff easily.
Went to the south bay to hang with the in-laws. Very quiet and pleasant Xmas.
I got a battery powered drill, a spiderman T-shirt and some bike shoes.
Now I’m going to watch The Hour (BBC story set in the BBC newsroom in the 1958 time period) It’s like a combo of The NewsRoom Mad Man and MI-5. It’s pretty god.
way kewl! the mts are getting buttloads of snow. the coast range too. am glad that i don’t have to make that trip over the coast range like i used to. am hoping to see mt st helens, mt adams, and mt hood next time i drive down 30 to scappoose to get a latte. lately the clouds have obscured my view of them and their winter cloaks
tis my first so i’m still learning it. my mom made me a pair of artic fleece pants and a matching pullover. so nice and warm and cozy and made with love :) i tried to watch the hour on bbc but just could not get into the story…
