Sometimes it’s nice to have a quiet day at home, but sometimes it’s really lonely.

i spent today watching season one of downton abbey which i had somehow missed seeing. my local pbs station ran all the season one episodes back to back this afternoon and will start reruns of season two this sunday. i guess season three starts in january.

hey ohsusannah — how ya doing tonight? i was invited to my daughters but chose to visit tomorrow for leftovers. that way i have her and my granddaughter all to myself :)

Aloha, Suz and lln pups…! After eating some of the first turkey, the tryptophan kicked in, and seriously delayed the start of my second turkey, Suz…! ;-)

There were about 10 in all, some friends of my daughter and boyfriend, they were all happy campers since they’d had slim hopes for a turkey dinner…!

yay! you put on a great spread for everyone from what you were saying about the prep work. everyone should have full bellies and good memories

I went to Thanksgiving dinner at a friend’s and it was great. I love “Roll over Beethoven”, especially the Beatles’ version. The Beatles have some great covers. I think this might be their best. Something about the hand clapping does it for me.

Yeah, they’re pretty good with the “Whoo hoos”. They drank deep from Little Richard and the Beach Boys.

aye they did. i remember a cut of them doing that song on some tv show and they were a rocking and rolling

i think this may be it…. i love their reaction when the audience starts dancing

tis about time for me to get horizontal. in addition to tomorrow’s turkey dinner with jen, i’m headed back over her way on saturday — we have a date to see the new bond film in the afternoon.
