AVG picked it up and said it caught it but a second later this little program I have that asks everytime a program wants to run at start up, asked me if a program could run. i said hell no and disconnected from the tubes but too late.

I got rid of most of it and therein lies the problem. It claims to have deleted all of my files, including the system, but that’s not true. No doubt it left a little string of BS in the bowels of the puter that I’ll never find. I can’t get into any system tool to clean it up. I can’t even do a “run”, so I can see what’s running and kill it that way, even in safe mode. I fear I’m fucked.

She had some cuts on her feet that got infected, which, I’d been trying to combat with Hydrogen Peroxide baths daily, and antibiotic salves, but, to no avail, I forced her to go to the ER today, and, they gave her several IV’s with heavy-duty antibiotics in them! The ER Dr. had prescribed a $4K antibiotic for 28 tablets, which is now tangled up in the paperwork…! She’s seeing her PP, tomorrow, so more action will happen…!

Oh CT, that sounds horrible. I find that the older I get, simple sores/cuts don’t want to heal. They haven’t been this serious yet, but for crying out loud, why doesn’t hydrodgen peroxide and salves work anymore? I keep using them all the time. Someone told me to use raw honey.

In the last few months I’ve started wearing flip flops or crocs to the mailbox, i normally don’t wear anything on my feet unless I leave the yard. I hate it in the winter when I have to wear socks to keep my feet warm, cause then I have to put shoes on to go outside. Fortunately, that only lasts for about 2 months a year.

No just easy to wear, and since they are plastic, pretty indestructible, unless you have a parrot or puppy. I prefer the less than $10 knock offs. For yard work, going to the mailbox in the rain, hanging around the dock, they are great. I don’t wear mine in public.

Hey you, listening to Mumford and Sons, i like! i have no capital i or o since my great Disinfecting Mission after we got back from Harborview Trauma Center. Harborview has always had the stigma of Extreme Shit, in our neck of the woods. Which it was. However, it’s a Washington State owned hospital with an active ( i think) Union because there was a vote coming up and i was eavesdropping at the cafeteria. We also drove down to olympia,Wa to protest the beginning of the Union busting and the Medical people had a very strong presence there. our A-hole “bipartisan” congress grifters supported the union- busting measures. That was so long ago in Real Politic Time. But, the Medical people were there and the Teachers were there and our home-schooled family was there…….
My rose-colored glass vision of what Healthcare can be was realized this week. oh, man…….hope kind of sucks, ya know? Just when you get cynical from living in an area where Privatized Med has taken over and there are No Real Medical People allowed to practice anymore…
