What’s on your mind?
Pete Belasco – All I Want

Hey Suzanne!
I love, love Led Zeppelin — but don’t remember this. How is everyone?
Aloha, Suz and lln pups…! I just spent a looong day watching sausage being made…! ;-)
Every bill we wanted passed by the County Council, either passed or advanced to the next reading…! ;-)
Ray Charles – One Mint Julep
Guten Abend, Christine…! How was Deutschland…? ;-)
I is ohtay. Spent too much time on the net (like all of it). Yogatated. Grocery shopped. Gonna make chili tomorrow.

James Brown – Night Train
busted
Hey Tut!
Really beautiful. My first trip to Munich and Berlin. Loved Berlin, so full of young people and cutting edge art. But loved all the art collections in both cities. Total art nerd, sorry!
Perhaps it is my hippie life in the 70′s?
man’s world
didja get salt?
Otis Day and the Knights – Shout
or being a mom (laughing) i think that being a mom caused more memory loss than all that i ingested back in the day
good one — diff shout
I did NOT. But I have to tell you that the food was fabulous, and very salty! We visited a great department store with a food hall, and I looked at all the salt for sale.
immigrant
I’ll be back there tomorrow too, we’ve got even more bills that really need to be passed, but, will most likely hinge on flipping one or two Councilors to pass ‘em, whereas most of today’s votes were unanimous or with one nay vote…!
*jaw hitting desktop* why not? nothing appealed to ya or didja you figure you had a good salt stash and no need to add to it?
Beyoncé – Proud mary
Complete with Dubya…
so better odds tomorrow? *fingers and toes crossed dood*
They do like their food salty…! Did you visit Neuschwanstein Castle…?
beyonce can forking sing!!! i’ve not seen that one — thanks for the warning about dubya
MrCE said, forget it , I’m not packing this in my suitcase!
Hi guys.
Um, foreign travel. Sweet.
Good salt? I used no salt, until I discovered gourmet salt.
Sausage making. Good for you.
Too much time on the net? I’m there with ya.
fever
No, we stayed pretty much inside both cities. We visited Munich’s Rezidence, and Charlottenburgh (bad spelling, sorry).
dagrabbit mr ce *setting glare to stun*
Beyonce – Goldmember (Austin Powers)
tuez! how’s florida tonight?
No, no, no, you pack it in your suitcase and make him lug it around.
Oddly, I manage to get away with that.
We saw all our bills advance(pass) today, tomorrow will probably be a whole ‘nother story…! The head of HELCO, with his $6 Million salary, will be present and answering questions of the Councilors, 4 of the nine Councilors are Helco stoolies…! Should be interesting…!
blind
Oh Suzanne, he was a taskmaster. What a cruel determined guide. I was so pissed.
oh my — i can’t wait to hear how it goes
Floridaze is set to status quo.
I am here to say though that acupuncture seems to work well. The spousal unit has been getting it for his knee issues. I no longer hear about it, ad nauseum, I actually have to ask how his knee is doing.
nice!
changing setting grrrr
i’ve had it and found it helped a lot. i had it for back troubles and when i had my knee replacement, she came to my house the day i got home from the hospital and needled me to help with swelling and pain – huge difference after
Joan Osborne – Why Can’t We Live Together
i’ve been a fan since way back when she was with destiny’s child
broken
We have been treating the dog’s seizures with acupuncture and it works. She only needs 1 or 2, back to back, treatments a year, and doesn’t know anything about the placebo effect. Her last treatment was in March and prior to that it had been 18 months. Hasn’t had a seizure since. So, I figured maybe it would be a good idea for my husband. Couldn’t hurt and might help.
i can’t explain how it works just know that i’ve seen it work — and not just on me. when she was the house after my tkr (she came until i could drive) jen came in hopping on one foot — she had badly turned her ankle and could hardly bear weight on it. debra examined her and needled her and jen was able to walk out on both feet. amazing stuff.
the first joan song i heard — and then i heard the parody she sang with bob rivers lyrics
joan doing dusty
I lurves me some Dusty!
baby
I think ancient peoples like the Chinese and Native American’s were just so much more in tune with their bodies, surroundings and nature that they have a much better understanding of how the “circle” of life works, than us from the Western Europe.
Anyway and interesting, I think, story about Chinese doctors working in the US. This acupuncturist, my husband is seeing, was an MD in China. Unlike say Russia or India where med school is taught in English, they are taught in Chinese. In order to get an American medical license, they basically have to learn a new language. American medical-ese. It takes about 3 years of studying before they feel proficient enough to take the American medical boards.
you don’t say…
i learned a lot from debra about paying attention to my body. i’ve heard american is a hard language to learn — i can only imagine how much harder it is to speak medical american – 3 years – wow
Signing off for the evening. Take care, y’all.
wishin’
g’nite dave
dazed
babe
*heh* The munchkin is being a stubborn cuss tonite, he’s fighting his beddy-bye, tooth and nail…! ;-)
for being such cute little things, they sure develop that stubborn streak early
Ain’t that the truth…! ;-)
by 9 months, julsie had developed the fiercest scowl…. it was hard not to laugh at the juxtaposition of that cute little baby in touch with her inner braveheart… made me proud of her *laughing*
Well, you tell him, he is allowed to stay up all night but he has to cover for you. No drinkin’, smokin’ sleepin’, surfin’, telephonin’, and if you cut yourself, he’s got to do the drivin’.
On edit: hurt yourself.
ramble
speaking of rambling, token has let me know that he needs to ramble outside for a bit… thanks for letting me hang with ya tonight
g’nite all
Would have piped up sooner but got caught up in the Joan music.
We are still in a heavy weather pattern, big blow tonight and it just started rainin buckets. Hope we dont lose power as i need to make ballisters for a friends stairs tomorrow.
Sweet dreams, Suz…! And here He finally gave in…! ;-)
