Thanks, SD. Looks like the KochInc bozos have not reached any understanding of the role that universal poverty plays in rocking their own world. Spreading lies still works for them.
Mornin’, pups
Hmmm…move the reactors to countries desperate for money and allow them to sell the power to countries that are getting rid of their reactors.
I’m sure they’ll operate safely, follow all construction standards and have a repository for waste. Perhaps, for a fee, their waste dumps can take our waste.
Boxturtle (What could possibly go wrong?)
Regarding the Roma expulsions in France.
The critic in that link is right to question paying them money to leave “voluntarily.” There was nothing voluntary about it. Sarkozy tried that same tactic and rightfully got in trouble with the EU two years ago. But it was all scolding, though, the EU had known what was brewing in advance and coyly looked the other way until facts were set on the ground.
Germany had considered a similar action, and wisely rejected the notion for obvious historical reasons.
Payment or not, Europe prohibits both mass deportations and ethnic profiling in any deportation.
MoJonesing for Ryan. ‘ nuff said.
Just turning some one out onto the public doesn’t work so well. See, Reagan emptying mental care facilities.
Austerity! Soak the Poor! no surprise from the corporate welfare moms.
great new Moveon pickpocket ad out
A Hot and Muggy Morning to All
At first I was going to say thanks for the good news about the Agent Orange clean up, but then I read the article.
I should have known better.
Ryan may know budgets. History — epic fail. As fictitious as that Ayn Rand money porn.
Thanks, and I do see Rmoney Hood as promising as a concept, too.
It’s going to cost consumers 14 cents a pizza?
Netanyahu government’s initial response to the self-immolations of desperate Israelis? To buy more fire extinguishers. Like something out of Fahrenheit 451.
I can’t be the only one who enjoyed the Catholic nuns and monks calling him out for his budget on ethical grounds. The church acts far too infrequently on things like this.
Yeah, yeah, I know. It’s not really the Vatican but rather a bunch of rebels. But it’s a start.

Boxturtle (me neither)
Like minds! Was just about to comment on segment on Ed Show with Sister Simone re nuns on the bus. They’ ve invited Rmoney. No response.
He’ll politely decline, citing a really full schedule. If he responds at all. None of the voters inclined to vote for Rmoney will care, they’ve already come to terms with Evil.
Boxturtle (via denial or soul selling, the results is the same at the polls)
G’morning, Funny Girl.
I guess your cool temps means you get to hold on to your sense of humor. This has been a rough week, and I had to pawn mine.
Read that Truth out article and then tell me we aren’t in WWIII. Looks like we had another “green on blue” attack in Afghanistan today

His staff will probably decline the invitation, and not actually cite inappropriate action by You People, acting while not Of The Body.
U.S. should arm AQ in Syria even more. AQ is losing.
Probably correct *sigh*
I used to refer to Rove as Bush’s Brain. Who’s Mitt’s Brain, I wonder?
Boxturtle (Whomever it is, it’s clearly a part time job)
I feel for you. Last summer I did three months of that. Hard to stay sane, much less laugh it off.

Keynesbasic market principles better than the capitalists.Good morning everyone! I am on my iPhone this morning because AT&T decided my modem password needed to be reset. the message is, “Thank you for your patience, this may take several minutes.” at least a half hour ago. So I am going to do other things this morning, before the inevitable call to their tech support.
And the lawn service people are here mowing in the rain. I wouldn’t want their job.
With arms supplied by which now discredited arms mfr?
Enjoy, and your passport is not supposed to be the name of your first cat anymore. ;-)
Can we use the name of our first stuffed animal?
Off to swim in the great capitalist cesspool.

got stuff to do, thanks for good company
Seeing a stuffed pet (Trigger)… no, no, no.
if Rmoney thinks Europe got economics so wrong, why has he put so much of his money there?
Just sayin’, Chuck Todd puff piece….
Nah. The neo liberal economics is working just fine. It is their favorite kind of Keynesian economics – - austerity works for the top 1%, or at least they think it does and that’s all that matters.
Happy Trails to you, Ruth. Have a good day.
Fixed.
Good morning all you firedogs.
Thanks to SD for the post.
Good morning everyone.
Thank you for the post SouthernDragon.
Good Morning, KrisA and Mr. Canyon
Kind of a lot of rotten news today, but we must perservere.
Buck up and all that.
Yesterday, when I was at the park for my early morning walk, I bumped into a recent acquaintance who invited me to a local action committee meeting. They deal with neighborhood issues like stopping a large corporation from strip mining in the hills above us and getting out the votes, etc. Actually, right now they are just trying to get more neighbors to attend the meetings. So, I’m going to go.
And, I think I’ll look up Drinking Liberally to see if they meet anywhere near me.
I’m feeling a little hopeful this morning about being part of a small movement.
Good morning demi.
Like you said, politics at the local and state level first.
I got here late and need to get out and get some things done.
Have a great day everyone.
I think that SD has been encouraging that idea for a long time.
Have a good one.
Ummmm….. umpfh
Gee, I wonder where the French got the brilliant idea to use public health as a reason to clear a camp.
Morning, anyone who’s still around, or looking in.
Do you suppose the name of say, the third or fourth cat, mixed with strange symbols, would be safe? (ducking msmolly’s swat at me for being tech-stoopid).
I dunno, if your pet’s name isn’t mentioned or recorded anywhere online, if it existed decades before the internet, might some form of its name be okay?
Sigh. I’ve taken to using a sentence, and variations thereof, to make up new passwords. Almost no sites have the same pw. It’s a pain, but I feel safe….
Of course, I have to write them down, but they aren’t taped to the monitor, either.
I learned, I think, how to make decent passwords while working at Chase. We had to change them every 90 days, and they gave us rules to use to make them secure. I’ve never been so dumb as to use pw’s like “password” or “1234″, or even first boyfriend’s name. No complete words is my first rule.
I’ll recommend an elegant personal password system, in this example using a car you’ve owned or, alternatively, ‘loved’. Say, you learned to drive in a 1960 Plymouth Fury. Several passwords are possible, all of which are sufficiently complex (combines letters and numerals, uppercase and lower case, and can be eight or more characters when required:
Pf1960, pF1960, Pfnineteen60, pFnineteen60, pFury1960, PFury1960, Pfury1960, pfURY19sixty, etc.
They are virtually uncrackable and unforgettable, don’t have to be written down, and if you mistakenly use the wrong one for a particular site, you’ll probably get it right before you’re kicked off. It’s probably helpful to have a card or sheet of paper with a coded index for your already-remembered car make, model, and year:
Bank: Xx1111, FDL: xX1111, ISP: Xxxxxxxxxx11, etc.
Endless possibilities of that model:
Historical dates: Battle Of Hastings 1066 = BOH1066 = Boh, BOh, bOH, etc. with eight letter combinations plus 1066, ten66, 10sixty6, etc.
Fave movies and release date: Some Like It Hot 1959 = SLIH1959, Slih19fifty9, etc.
