Rush has a brand new album out entitled: Clockwork Angels.
What’s on your mind tonite…?
I almost led with this awesome Tom Sawyer but, I’ve featured Tom Sawyer before…! ;-)
The title track… Clockwork Angels…
Hey, CT. I’ve been having all kinds of connectivity issues…..can’t figure out if it’s the fog or if my wifi thingy is getting ready to croak. Gotta call my provider in the a.m.
How’s it out there in the Pacific? It’s been foggy along the California coast for days now. Hotter than Hades in the inland areas, but wonderfully cool along the coast. I am not complaining!
Heh, and Kanye West thinks he’s the greatest musician of the last 200 years.
Oh, and Breaking Bad’s season premiere was all kinds of awesome. Especially the giant magnet.
Hey Dearie – are you getting weird redirects? I had several this afternoon, as well as the last two days. Was about ready to give up when they stopped. Seems to be a site thing.
Drat! Got epu’d downstairs, where I intended only to peek in then go to bed twenty minutes ago. Look at the time!
I’m off, for realz!
Aloha, Dearie…! It could also be the Solar Flare activity of late…! ;-)
It’s been a great day here, it started off with a early am shower, and was topped of by a nice evening drizzle…!
As for new albums out this year, so far I have to go with Fiona Apple’s ‘The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver of The Screw And Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do’.
Aloha, Hannibal, certainly the best in his mind…! ;-)
Sweet dreams, tj…! Dearie knows all about that epu’d thingy…! ;-)
Indeed. And just mentioning EPU drags me back into the olde daze!
I agree with you so far this year, but, I do give Rush an ‘A’ for effort after all these years…! ;-)
The Anarchist…
*heh* I agree, especially when I remember Evil Parallel Universe’s great rants…!;-)
Red Barchetta…
I thought EPU was my time zone. By the time i scan through the comments it’s all good niters. Tonight we ate early and i can listen to Tut’s tunes as i peruse.
My provider advised me to refresh my router every 15 days or so, unplug its power for a minute and reconnect. It clears the channel (freq.) and resets a ‘new’ one that’s clean like new. RF (radio frequency) gizmos are constantly subject to artifact interference, even blocking when someone nearby has RF stuff transmitting.
Aloha, homeroid…! How’s the 49th state doing tonite…? ;-)
Indeed, Dearie is correct, there has been cool cloud cover along the Coast. I feel sorry for other people sweltering in other parts of the country. Yikes. For now, I actually have the heat turned on.
Thanks for the info. I’ve been wondering what’s up with mine. I can go for weeks at a time with no problems, and then I’ll get kicked off time and again for a few days … and then weeks with no problems. I think I’ll try unplugging it tonight and letting it get a good night’s rest. I seem to have most trouble when it’s foggy or windy…..and down here at the beach it’s often foggy and windy. “:)
Aloha, Aitch…! I did not know that…! Learn something new everyday, if you’re not careful…! ;-)
Aloha, sfmikey…! It’s been cooler than usual here to, and like you, I’m not bitching either…! ;-)
All is well and slow in the hamlet by the sea. Cold for this time of year.
Noy much for stupid tourist comments other than how did they build the spit….ahhhh they hired a glacier a looong time ago to do it. The term terminal moraine slipped their mind from grade school.
Hippo Birdies to Joe Satriani…
Surfing With The Alien…
Aloha, Young Tut…! It’s what a tech at AT&T U-verse told me in a chat session. It makes sense, and the fortnightly maintenance always improves my radio stream signal and keeps it from stopping. Who knows? It could be a placebo effect, everything is alive or organic if it has plastic. *g*
hello counselor
hello there counselor
did i kiss any other of my lawyer friends
CTut!!!! what it do, man
I still got no question mark key!!!
MISS not kiss!!! sorry!
on my mind right now are drugs and my meds are kicking in seriously
goo’ nite
Aloha CTuttle,
Change of subject. Did you see where China plans to erect the tallest building in the world? Yes, taller than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and the Chinese expect to do it in 90 days? (All pre-fab, of course.)
But still, yowza.
Hi there! Quiet night at the late Lake…..good to have some old friends around.
Sounds like the same batch of dumb tourists that ask why the Big Isle has so few sandy beaches compared to the rest of the Isles…! ;-)
A twofer
Aloha, BFL…! You still have use of your computer…! What’s a question mark amongst friends…? ;-)
You could copy/paste someone else’s q-mark, I think without infringing their copyright (though IANAL) ;o)
90 days…? I’d be mighty leery of living or working in it myself…!
I think you’ve gone off for the night, BFL, but I took your typo as a hug through the wires. I’m still laughing. Hope all is well with you.

Well Wade was in Oakland this week and drove down to Los Osos for a meet up and discussion here is his comments on his website. He left this morning. Gets up a five am…what a workforce! http://waderathke.org/
Is there a link for that? Sounds nutz. Bamboo and paper maybe?
Aloha, bb…! Sounds like ya’ll had a blast…!

Between the Wheels…
Very cool. I think local is what it’s all about these days.
He took his morning walk to Sweet Springs perseve here and later commented that Los Osos was worth saving. He is bright and personable. He gave three book so I have some great strategy to learn! He says ACORN, which he founded created $15 billion in wealth for low and moderate income families. That is an amazing achievement while raising two kids. He is back in NO I was not awake when he left.
it’s ok; could barely stay vertical and had to make up the bed; glad you took no offense— i’m without a question mark and a dot-period and a slash;-;- just gonna throw out this hand-me-down POS pretty soon
definitely
Pleasant dreams, BFL…!
Do you know CA Assemblyman Bill Monning CA Senate candidate? We are supporting his election a Dem people person I might add. CA single payer will be coming soon and that will take a huge burden off of low and moderate income households. So bottom up is way with the veal pen bought and paid for by the 1% ers.
Occupy Hilo is focused on local issues, and fighting our local power company’s stranglehold on us…!
Wow on ACORN…..I’m still po’ed that it went down without the support of those who should have known better. How do we teach the Dems to have each other’s back? It’s hard to develop a real base when the ‘uppers’ are throwing everyone under the bus at every opportunity, dontcha know?
You and your pals are in the REAL fight and doing the REAL work …. I’m always thrilled to hear about how your group is doing. Keep up the solid work.
Freewill…
CT you are having pretty good trasffic tonight. My neighbors just got back from a family week in Oahu celebrating their psrents 50 wedding anniversary. He and his triathalete brother surfed all day every day without wetsuits. They had a blast.
Gave up on Dems.
I don’t know Bill Monning, but I’ll watch for him. Lois Capps was my Congresscritter, but we’ve been redistricted and will have someone brand new this time. I liked Lois Capps, but I wanted her to be much more vocal…. heck, she’s old and a nurse and could have put her voice into more active action, as it were. Whatever.
thanks man
monday
damn
We’ve got a busy week ahead of us, the Mayor just vetoed some key legislation we’d fought hard to pass, we’re sure we have the needed votes to override his spiteful vetoes, but, we’re not taking it for granted…! We’ll be testifying and pushing the Councilors on Tuesday and Wednesday to override ‘em…!
Totally agree on all your points…single payer would have made her very popular especially with us in CA. Bringing home the goodies instead she loaded us up with $200.00 a month sewer costs for 40 years. She is a nice woman but not a boat rocker.
saw Eli on facebook this afternoon in my timeline— kicking ass on some racist vermont republican group; usually a really funny guy but he had a game face on
Time to sleep…be well and stay strong.
Wow. $200/mo for 40 years??? Who could afford that? She’s a nice lady, but I really would love to have a shit-kicker in my corner, and that she wasn’t. I have to wonder how many years these folks want to hang out in DC being ‘nice’…..when they could spend two years doing something important.
Good chatting see you and dad and G kids are living life.
Pleasant dreams, bb…! I remember how long and hard you fought to avoid that sewer fiasco…!
Yep, everyone is doing great. Had a wonderful lunch in SB yesterday with my neo-con twin brother and my dad. Lots of laughs and some wonderful seafood down by the beach.
CT, I’m gonna call it a night, too. Thanks for hosting. Go for it with your wonderful teammates and make the electeds listen and do right!
Sweet dreams, Dearie…!
Some Fiona… Anything We Want…
Sleep to Dream…
Well, I shall bid ya’ll another fond adieu, mahalo for the great company tonite…!
Aloha Oe…! *g*
Rush, are you f’n kidding me?
