About Firedoglake
*using newly installed elevator to the top of the dive platform*
thunk thunk thunk as i

Beeeeyoootiful as always my dear.
Just a quick howdy for now, I am going to hit the shower.
Ahll be beck.
busted! *smooches to you and your bride*
How did those Merrie Melodies people come up with that before LSD? I mean, where did that come from?
hey mikey — 19 forking 52 dood…. how’s the city tonight? tis naked bike ride night in portland — i love the judiciously shot video on the news
Yee-haw…! A very gallant dive, M’dear…! Aloha, Suz and lln pups…! Always a pleasure…! *g*
aloha tut — how’s paradise tonight? thanks, it was rather clumsy and just a straight dive but… thought what the hell, i’ve not dove in a long time
‘DeepinaholaTexas!’
Hi Suz – another beautiful restore job.
How you doing?
Oh, and ‘glug’
Indeedly-doo, 1952. That’s a far piece of time.
Things cool here. Actually, no, the weather was hot today. Dunno ’bout tomorrow, but I got my Hawaiian shirt ready. And I’m still celebrate’n Matt Cain’s perfect game. Yowza.
hey newton — how ya doing tonight? glad ya liked it and *glug* backatcha dood
i wonder what the equivalent of that $4,000/oz pot from that american beauty movie was in 1952….i heard it was something like 112 in valejo today — what does your hawaiian shirt look like?
Good evening Suz and lln pups. Hope your day was good, Suz, how’s the pain?
hey past — how was your day? my pain levels are up (as hey usually are by nightfall) but that pain pill will kick in soon and i’ll be able to sleep.
Suzanne rocks
Carl Stalling rocks!
For you FaceBookers, my daughter posted a clip of the Munchkin…! ;-)
hey et — how ya doing tonight? thanks dood *blushing*
that took me to *your* f/b page, not a video
But, the vid was still available right…?
beautiful day today, 90 and sunny with low humidity. Went for a bike ride this morning, did some yardwork, then hung out for about an hour in the afternoon at a small antiwar protest.
no, it was your wall page — not your daughter’s video. perhaps if you *share* her video on your page then folks can see it
it got up to 81 today and has cooled to 65. muggy tho — tomorrow we have showers in the forecast and then rain mon. living in oregon, i’ve learned to love watching the clouds — was a clear bright blue morning and then mid-afternoon, the clouds rolled in and it felt like thunderstorms were a’coming. none did and only had about 30 seconds of showers…
Hmmm… I thought it was…! Try again, pretty please, Suz…!
Edit: Or try this one…
Weeeell.
I might not look any better but I sure smell better now.
Hot and friggin muggy tonight.
How y’all doin, long time no see, especially long for some.
I was just talking about Hawaiian shirts. Ya know, the nicey-nice silk ones just post-WW2 can be very valuable. Mine are recent and crappy. My Dad had a Hawaiian shirt with the old Constellation airliners on it. (Dunno how accurate that is, bit it looked cool. Plus his Naval aviation leather jacket; I should’a stole that before leaving.)
good to see your fonts dood. how the hell ya been??? iirc, i’ve moved to st helens since last time we talked and you had just moved into your new joint. how’s the mrs?
there is something about vintage clothing that just can not be replicated…
*aargh* I’ve been trying to save it directly from FB to my hard drive, and then upload to Picasa, or whatever, but, I can’t even get it to download to my hard drive…! 8-(
fork…. ask her to email it to ya and then you should have no trouble downloading it. sometimes i’ve had that happen with facebook stuff — must have something to do with privacy settings or something
Still moving.
I spent all day getting my heavy assed tool boxes moved, one of them had a wheel collapse trying to get it on the lift gate.
That took an hour to repair.
Finally got all four roll away’s in the garage and then called a tow truck to drag that POS Sprite home. It has been sitting at the old Weasel Den since I moved out of there in October.
My brand new paint job is fucked. Moss all over the damn thing.
That breaks my heart.
I found out you got moved by tuning in here one late late night.
So how YOU doin’?
Vintage Hawaiian shirts have major collector’s value I’m told. Can’t afford it now.
to be honest, i’m still moving. i’ve got the stuff from the bay house but haven’t ordered the pod delivered yet. can’t really unpack while i’m still on crutches yanno. once i get off the forkers, i hope to be able to make the 2 hour each way drive to get token — gotta be off the crutches so i can take the little fella for walks etc.
shit who can afford anything nowadays…
Finally got all four roll away’s in the garage… Dayam, most I’ve ever had, was two roll away’s of tools…! ;-)
That ‘constellation’ Shirt would be worth some serious duckies here, mikey…! ;-)
Crap, that must suck.
I have been working six days a week on Swing, starting tomorrow I am going to twelves on Graveyard for a week.
I have been so damn busy I can’t hit my ass with either hand.
The one day a week I have off I end up working my ass off all day too trying to get settled.
i hear that — tis good and bad all at once.. of course, you are not one to sit around and do nothing either…
Wanna hear a good one? My lovely and dangerous wife looked me in the eye over breakfast last week and stated matter of fact that I needed to get rid of some of my tools because I don’t work on cars for a living anymore.
Ah, yeah.
Nice try honey.
Not.
Took me thirty years to collect all those tools and it will be a cold day in Hell before I start selling them because I have “too many”.
No such thing.
Ooh, so you do have enough room to finally unpack the pod, Suz…?
Hey Suz, hi everyone!
I hear from NM friends that in Albuquerque there’s a huge street party downtown. Live music included Los Lobos, Robert Mirabal and Soul Kitchen. I’m going to go look up the last two, I don’t know them.
It’s the 100th anniversary of NM’s statehood.
gonna give it a try. have a 10×13 outbuilding that i can use for storage and i figure i’ll get rid of a lotta stuff — stuff that i’ve not used in dang near four years….
*heh* Ya can pry my wrench from my cold dead fingers…! ;-)
LOL!
I can hear it now…
THAT’S where that thing was!
hey margot — that sounds like a wonderful party! how’s the wilds of ohio tonight? this is the only soul kitchen i’m familiar with
Pretty much.
Wow, don’t work yourself to death dude.
better than ‘i thought i got rid of that fucking thing’…..

Pleasant dreams, past…! Happy Father’s Day, and enjoy the family…!
I suspect these guys and the ones at Loony Tunes smoked a lot of weed.
