Question. If you heard that there was a project underway to rip out 7 acres of natural grass in Golden Gate Park and replace it with synthetic turf for soccer playing, would that make you upset?
What if you found out the people who are doing it say they are doIng it to help children play soccer with out tripping on gopher holes because the city doesn’t maintain the fields.
What if 100′s of adorable kids say they just want to get out and exercise and artificial turf is better to play on than grass especially in the rain.
