“If the Democrats said we had a war on caterpillars and every mainstream media outlet talked about the fact that Republicans have a war on caterpillars, then we’d have problems with caterpillars,” Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said in an interview on Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt” airing this weekend. “It’s a fiction.”
So there’s no Republican War on Women according to a Republican man. Republican woman, your turn?
Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) spoke out forcefully in favor of reproductive rights on Wednesday in Homer, Alaska, as many in her party have sought to restrict them.
“It makes no sense to make this attack on women,” she said at a local Chamber of Commerce luncheon, according to the Homer News. “If you don’t feel this is an attack, you need to go home and talk to your wife and your daughters.”
Don’t worry, Reince Priebus will answer that one on behalf of his wife and daughters, it isn’t necessary for him to ask. Besides he really wants to rid the world of those annoying butterflies.

Equating women and worms doesn’t seem like sound political strategy.
The GOP and many in what passes for the Democratic Party are hell-bent on waging war on the poor, the sick, and the elderly; leaving damn little reason to go to the polls. Bush, Obama, Romney – 6 of one, half dozen of another.
Keep digging, good Prince Rebus. Keep on digging.
morning, attaturk, have you no descentcy? the lamestream media have a thing for worms, like Priebus, and his party isn’t having any, so there. It’s the worm vote they’re after.
And the worm vote they’ve got. But worms only decompose 28% of the American electorate.
True, but the worms are really noisy, so it seems worse. And they’ve got a major cocoon fetish.
Good morning all,
Was that said with a state mandated Vaginal probe stuck where the sun don’t shine?
These days a female Republican is like a non white Republican or a gay Republican: Any woman who supports Republican candidates is approving and endorsing their own enslavement and second class citizenship.
A rancid policy, appropriately skewered. Rance is short for rancid?
This reminds me of the waiting for Zion community, happy martyrs, all. Sacrificing their kids, too.
Good morning, pups. We’ve got Brooks and Krugman today. Bobo is in a snit. Bobo is cross at “That Other Obama.” He hisses that Paul Ryan’s budget plan is far from perfect, but the president took the partisan low road in criticizing it this week. Prof. Krugman, in “Not Enough Inflation,” says Republican attacks on Ben Bernanke, the Federal Reserve chairman, are a destructive effort to bully the Fed into doing exactly the wrong thing.
Here they are.
The coffee and tea are ready, and I’ve got hot cross buns because it’s Good Friday. Now I’m going to try to wend my way down the hall to the kitchen for another cup of tea, with Winslow weaving between my feet the entire way. He does make moving around a challenge… Have a great day.
Thanks, Marion, maybe Winslow was coached by the NOLA Sts coach, wants you laid up so you have more time for petz.
Bobo has lotsa time for petz, Leave Ryan AAAAALLOOONNNNNEE
Yeah…Bobo seems to have gone full Novacula since Bob’s death. I think they compete for the title of most loathsome and reprehensible because they sure wear it like a badge of honor.
Frickken Emo Hipsters like Ryan are defended by Frikken Emo Hipsters like Bobo.
Good morning all.
I see that Krugman has his nose up Bernanke butt again.
Ahhh, more couth…
Well, we all know that, after a while, the slave winds up hating herself.(that’s the short explanation)
The GOP has always been waging WAR Inc on Women, but it’s been *slightly* more subtle until now. Now the gloves are off, but nothing really is “new” about any of this.
Tossing out Palin was yet more red meat tossed to the female T-GOP base, who were *easily satisfied* with the Snowbilly Grifter… the PTB knew for sure that McCain would lose bc of Palin, but Palin made the T-GOP women feel like they had a “say” and were part of the club. It was smart strategy on the part of the Southern Strategy group. They achieved their goal of making T-GOP women still be willing to vote against their own – and their daughers – best interest.
Good one lol.
Ah, Reibus (or whatever the fuck your name is) I hope you and your Republican friends are prepared for when the worms turn.
“If the Democrats said we had a war on caterpillars and every mainstream media outlet talked about the fact that Republicans have a war on caterpillars, then we’d have problems with caterpillars”
And when they point out the hundreds of bills proposed by Republicans to strip from the caterpillars rights that they currently enjoy, the rhetoric from Republicans that demeans and belittles the caterpillar, and the convening of an all-slug panel to discuss caterpillar health, what bullshit diversion will Reince pull outta his nether-regions then?
