Maybe the Mayans were just talking about the conservative media world in 2012?
* Pile of excrement in a 300 pound casing Rush Limbaugh suddenly has everyone notice he’s Rush Limbaugh, and his world begins to unravel.
* Andrew Breitbart and his poor-man’s Andy Kaufman routine ends with the most literal of homages.
* His successors push Breitbart’s last great work of stupidity…OMG black men hugging!
* They follow this up by not knowing Bono from a Bonobo.
* And finally, well-known edited film auteur and Captain of the SS Dildo, James O’Keefe is facing a mutiny:
Nadia Naffe, self-described “accomplice” to conservative activist James O’Keefe , had begun publishing a multi-part tell-all series of posts to her blog. Thursday morning, Naffe published the second part … includes documents related to a sexual harassment settlement between O’Keefe and “CNN Sex Boat Caper” whistleblower Izzy Santa. O’Keefe filed suit against Naffe on Wednesday to obtain an injunction against publication of those documents, and of emails that O’Keefe claims she stole from his computer.
Oh what could require an injunction?
…Plaintiffs statements on Twitter claim that the material is so provocative that it caused Andrew Breitbart to suffer a fatal heart attack.
Wait a minute, is James O’Keefe confessing he killed Breitbart?
In the billiard-room with a sex toy? Or just from embarrassment?

Oops, never mind. I’ll wait until somebody serious posts.
It took forty days and forty nights for the LA coroner to release the toxicology report for Ms. Houston. If that’s any indication, April 10th should be an interesting day indeed.
Got you covered! takes on whole new meanings. Had fun yesterday with some one having to admit Rush is full of gas and listening to Faux News has become impossible to pass off as actually getting informed about what’s going on in reality.
Good morning all,
Their world seems to be falling down around them.
Good for America.
It’s about ‘their world’ being an invention of the lowest possible taste.
Their only taste is in their mouth.
Good morning shoot,
Yesterday on this thread you ,@ comment 28, mades these claims:
I know you never post without links but there’s a slight oversight on your part, you must have forgot to include them to these factual events. Could you provide the missing links, especially the stoning for a bad haircut.
Thanks and have a great weekend.
Good morning, pups. We’ve got Brooks, Cohen and Krugman today. Bobo is now going to shine as he ‘splains education theory to us. In “The Relationship School” he gurgles that the New American Academy in Brooklyn is an exciting experiment in education reform that centers everything around the teacher-student relationship. It’s so exciting! It’s so different! It’s going to maybe succeed! Of course, the example Bobo gives is of a group of 60 students being team taught by 4 teachers which works out to, lemme see, carry the 1, 15 students per teacher. What public school teacher wouldn’t love to have a class with only 15 students? Wotta boob… Mr. Cohen, in “The False Iran Debate,” says after 30 years of dangerous non-negotiations, each side must make real concessions. Prof. Krugman points out that “Paranoia Strikes Deeper,” and that gas prices are bringing out the crazy during this campaign season.
Here they are.
The coffee and tea are ready, and I’ve got French toast made with challah this morning. Friday finally got here, thank heaven. This has been one of “those” weeks, and I’m glad to see the end of it. Have a great day.
Thanks, Marion. The price of gas at the pump is the proof that oil companies are willing to throw away a world economy for their personal profits. It’s crazee to let them, again.
This is rather like asking for philosophical basis of robocall. Nonsentient object.
I always wonder, when the experiment fails as some always do, while we already have a functioning education system, do the kids get a redo ?
Scientists have been searching for years for those… oh, wait… You were asking for unsupplied links, not family members. Gotcha. Sorry for the confusion.
From Marion’s link, Krugman;
‘ At least part of the answer must lie in the way right-wing media create an alternate reality. For example, did you hear about how the cost of Obamacare just doubled? It didn’t, but millions of Fox-viewers and Rush-listeners believe that it did.’
had interesting exchange with fellow customer at local auto shop, backed down in chagrin when I countered his ‘Obama will end our property rights’ with ‘oh, Fox News, pleeeeease’.
You are so up for the naughty this am, Marion. Coffee all over the floor.
I sure hope Rush goes down, but his popularity amongst this listener seems stronger because of this. I wonder how low he’ll have to set his advertising rates before this new-found morality amongst his advertisers evaporates.
If clear channel drops him, I’d bet Jacor or such will pick him up quickly.
Boxturtle (I think they’ll try to ride this out at Clear Channel)
But we knew that. The oil companies have to decide whom they’re going to vote for in the election. A vote for Mitt means gas at $5+ a gallon. A vote for Barry, and gas will stay about where it is.
I think they’re supporting Barry, in gratitude for how cheaply they’re getting off from the gulf spill.
Boxturtle (The oil companies can control the election)
Naw. But we’ll grade on the curve.
But if you think our educational system is currently functioning, I invite you to visit any urban school and talk to any teacher.
Boxturtle (Wish we’d spend the money on public education that we do on vouchers)
They don’t need no steenkin’ (facts)(reason)(credibility)
I look at them with sympathy and say “I’m sorry, you’ve been listening to Fox News again, haven’t you?”.
Boxturtle (they seem shocked that I know that)
phew,
I student taught at an intercity school in 1972 in Philly , in what they call the “badlands”, Stetson at Allegheny and B street I think. I had one class nicknamed the zoo where you stood in the doorway to prevent the worst from mingling for one period a day. That class was an easy lesson plan I must say. My second half of student teaching was in a wealthy suburb of the city, talk about night and day contrast.
To say it’s gone downhill since I taught would be an gross understatement.
In TX that would have been the opportunity to make some change by cage matching your inmates, I mean, students.
Hey, Krugman swiped his title from Buffalo Springfield, “For What Its Worth”. Paranoia strikes deep. Into your blog it will it will creep
I know exactly where that is in Philly! to be honest i didnt think many people in that area went to school . . .
*snort*
Is shooter still worried about the scary scary muslims? I gave him the FBI data the other day that basically broke down the fact that he’d have a greater probability of being terrorized by someone who believes in Christianity. Sigh. I guess someone missed classes on probability.
That’s fine. We understand that your time is precious and you can’t go trolling just any old thread.
I was a substitute teacher in Worcester, MA during the 1990′s while in grad school. The city had four middle schools. One of the middle schools contained most of the bad kids. The attitude of the administration was that they are baby sitting the kids until they drop out, join the military, go to jail, get pregnant and go on Welfare, or get killed.
The whole event crushed my illusion of becoming the next stand and deliver teacher.
Well, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that Fat Rush, O’Queefe, BiteBart and most of their avid followers are no longer necessary as an idiot flying wedge. Oh, sure, the poo-flinging will continue, as they can’t help it; but with The Obamlican in the WH and Democrats wildly happy to be spineless treacherous co-conspirators of the corporatists, the Mission’s Accomplished. Everyone’s who’s anyone is on board the FascioTrain.
Roll up the scenery, strike the sets, and have a good long look at that brick-ass wall. (h/t, Frank Zappa)
