Everyday I Write the Book…

Just fine.. flu got the others a week apart…. But the Lady is at the end of it and ready to tech the kids at the Music School… But she got a sub to cover her at rehearsal on the Oboe on Monday,,she has first chair in the PA symphony…

Super that means your homeless folks got dried out.And I have to catch the morning tide for a row. I am practicing for long beach regatta in 2 weeks, lifting weights, rowing and did a yoga class this morning. Seeing that you enjoyed the book salon with FDLrs I lurked. So off to bed. Have a nice late night party.

Hi, CT. I called my daughter in Santa Barbara early this evening and told her that there was some major planetary beauty going on and if the boys weren’t in bed would she please take them out to see the planets. We all do love the night sky! I didn’t have time to look up which planets were being so beauteous, but I thought it was worth seeing anyway. Those little boys are being imprinted!

I wonder if folks are just, well, weary? What a week! Women getting battered from the right. No one speaking up from the mouth of the left (I didn’t consider Obama’s call to Ms. Fluke to be anything but ShoTime…. and I think the dinner for Iraq vets was a non-starter.) I don’t want to be a wet blanket….in fact, I find myself kicking off others’ attempts to wet blanket. But, you know, it’s been a long, hard week. I do love that Occupy is still up and kickin’…..but I sure do wish that even one Democrat would step-the-fuck up, as it were. ‘Scuse me if I sound deranged.

What truly pisses me off about our ‘Dims’ is how many are Peps, Progressive-except-Palestine, and today’s appearance at AIPAC’s confab was proof-positive…! 8-(

And I do so appreciate that, CT. MoveOn.org kind of shanghaied the Occupy movement in my town….came in and took names with an interest, I think, in sending out donate letters. It became a non-starter. I’m sorry about that. I refused to sign up for MoveOn.org emails and kind of lost interest. My hometown’s Occupy movement went absolutely nowhere beyond our first big and enthusiastic march. What I find is that Occupy is an important movement. I hope it brings on some kind of leadership and national organization. I’m glad that FDL is supporting Occupy. I’m proud to know folks who are actually out there and making waves.

For what it’s worth…

I did not follow the AIPAC meeting. I’m afraid to find out what our alleged “Mooslim in Chief” had to say to his followers on the other side. I’m often ashamed of what America is doing in my name. I’d like to think that Israelis are ashamed of what the zealots are doing in their name.

It truly is sad how much MoveOn is a tool of Oily Bomber’s Neolib Apparatchik…! Remember to clap ever louder…! 8-(

…I have visited with families who’ve known the terror of rocket fire in Sderot. That’s why, as President, I have provided critical funding to deploy the Iron Dome system that has intercepted rockets that might have hit homes, hospitals, and schools in that town and others. Now our assistance is expanding Israel’s defensive capabilities, so that more Israelis can live free from the fear of rockets and ballistic missiles. Because no family, no citizen, should live in fear.

I know that, for me, Kent State revealed the depth of horror that the government was willing to hurl at citizens. I wouldn’t expect less in the coming days. From first time that BushCo corralled the populace in “Free Speech Zones”…..I knew the game was up. And while I don’t want to rag on Obama excessively (who knows what threats the PTB have placed on him and his family) I just know that Obama& Co (and Kucinich and Feingold and Grayson and Wellstone and so many others)do not have the ‘stuff’ to outwit and overcome the MOTU. We are finished. I’m not sure where else to go to find solace, but I am pretty darned sure that we are a done deal.

I think Wellstone’s demise had a lasting effect, like JFK and RFK too…! 8-(
