I know it is just a few of the selective low-lights of the last day or so, but what a collection of advertisements for the Grand Ol’ Party:

Rush Limbaugh: Doubles down on slander of women who favor the provision of contraceptives as “sluts” demanding to see video. Rush usually doubles-down at KFC only.

Obviously about to be indicted Joe Arpaio goes birther while surrounded by World Nut Daily’s Jerome Corsi and a “posse” of retired 70s male pornstars. Hope you enjoyed trying to get that endorsement Mitt.

A Federal Judge, Richard Cebull, a George W. Bush appointee has to self-report himself after sending out admitted racist emails against President Obama.

And John Boehner and the Republicans in Congress, knowing that “damn the science” they’ve got a sure winner, are going to continue to keep contraceptives in the hands of male religious leaders, where they belong.

Way to pitch a small tent fellas.

Good morning, pups. It’s Brooks and Krugman today. Bobo is worried about your habits. Bobo haz a consern. In “The Machiavellian Temptation” he babbles that today’s advice culture would like to define us and direct our natural tendencies. But if you really want to change your life, you must commit to some larger global belief. I just love it when Bobo tells me what I “must” do… Prof. Krugman takes a look at “Four Fiscal Phonies” and says all four Republican presidential candidates still in the race warn about the dangers of government debt, yet their proposals would add to the debt by helping the rich.

Here they are.

The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and I’ve got waffles with warm maple syrup. [sigh] When I first started waking up this morning I thought it was Saturday. Alas… I hate it when that happens. It’s MUCH better to wake up on Saturday morning thinking it’s Friday. Have a great day.

The funny thing is that they are watching themselves self destruct and most of them know they are self destructing but they just can’t seem to help themselves. Herman Cain has an ad out in which a little girl kills a goldfish. They’re off the rails so far there’s no going back.

Good morning all,

The dems ain’t much better whimpering and cowering in a corner sticking their tongue so far up Israel’s ass they can’t see.

The scourge of this country are the professional politicians and their vaunted “turning the people’s will into law” and making sure those laws are adhered to.

The president is the embodiment of this political power without a moral rudder other than selling out .

Here we go again…. The obligatory “the-dems-suck-just-as-much-so-stfu” comment. Everybody here knows I’m no fan of the Democrats but the Republicans are demonstrably, empirically worse. Link to just one Democrat saying that Romney is ineligible to serve as President because he’s a Mormon. Cite just one Democratic judge who sends out racist emails. Show me one youtube of an ad by a Democratic Presidential candidate, past or present, in which a child slaughters a pet and I’ll shut up and go away. Until then, what you are saying, while it has some validity in some contexts is just false equivalency and hyperbole.
P.S. And citing the warmongering of the Democrats is just dishonest. You seem to make it sound like the Republicans WOULDN’T go to war at the behest of Israel.

GOPers running against science should be aware that science is non-partisan. And to quote Galileo “It still moves”.

I hope the GOPers keep pounding that birth control nail. Heck, I’ll help them. One of my GOPer neighbors has bailed from Frothy, she’s either not going to vote or hold her nose and vote for Obama over this. And she’s pressuring her husband.

I agree with that. I’ve been calling them “The Ruling Caste” for years. Just please stop throwing false equivalencies at me. And please stop injecting how bad the Democrats are in every effing post that criticizes Republicans.

You make a good point with Bob Casey. I would include Joe Manchin and we are lucky enough to be getting rid of Ben Nelson. The other two are up for re-election and I sure wish that someone credible would challenge these two Bluedogs. Robert Byrd has to being turning in his grave over Manchin and his turncoat ways. (Of course he probably knew Manchin and his motivations before he died)

Seems to me that the only “STFU” happening here is directed at those who think that comparing a child-rapist to a mere child-molester, and then embracing the child-molester, is hardly a moral stand to be proud of. This comparative shit is so damn short-sighted, it makes me want to puke. How exactly do all you lesser-evil GENIUSES think we got where we are? How does voting lesser-evil this time do ANYTHING to get us better choices next time? I won’t vote for EITHER the child-rapist or the child-molester. So rush called a woman a slut-expected, a bush judge is racist- no surprise, boner doesn’t get science-wow and sheriff joe_no surprise here. No one died from these positions or words but bob casey, DEMOCRAT, co-sponsored the bill where we will use military action to stop IRAN from thinking about building a bomb not building one, thinking about it. They are a diversion as to where we are headed full steam ahead war mongering.

That is what I find vile and disgusting. Sticks and stones and bombs will break my bones but words will never kill me.
