Hey CT,
The good news is that I just had a live message from Suzanne. She is comfortable, but not sleeping well. But all the good family are in sync. Yea!
Marsha made our car rental reservation today. We are going to spend tomorrow gathering all our Hilo contacts, and I will send our local info. Between my family crisis and all the road trips, and the expectation of programs and such, I’m rather at sea.
There was no bad song on that album . . . n that’s one of them~
Love that tune, still . . . sigh. Smiling at it and the good timehs me n friends had with that music. A lot of it ended up on our NPR station we were all taking courses at for radio/tv broadcasting.
A lot of BIA was used for background music in the TV/PBS productions we did . . .
Everyone was using it everywhere, as it was being played on at least 10 stations FM and AM in the bay area at the time.
aloha tut — i featured a gym class heros redo of take a look at my girlfriend at lln a while back.. good to hear logical and the other bia songs…. tis just a driveby dood — friends don’t let friends comment under the influence of *very* powerful painkillers

Aloha, Christine, that’s great news…!
Breakfast in America…

Definitely one of the top 10 most influential albums of my life, with The Beatles and many more in the list.
BIA was insane, it owned the pop charts.
It was good song to song.
N it was fresh music I liked at a time when music got too weird for me . . .
They WERE Super Trampers.
That album, that song, Logical, never got old, still is not old.
One of a hand ful of stuff I can still listen too that was overplayed to death then and now on rock radio.
N it’s still fresh.
Nice catch, hoss, nice catch.
*G*
Awesome, Christine, I truly look forward to meeting ya…! Best of luck with your family crisis…! *g*
Aloha, Larue…! Glad ya liked it…! ;-)
Dude! Music links? Love you, man.
Hey FB tells it all. Sigh.
A lot of Supertramp tunes were done by large ensembles… Take the long way home…
Heh, still in love with the song, and the album.
Man a lot of people I knew spun that to death in their homes, it was always on the turntables as we ‘visited’ one another.
*G*
Not much of a girlfriend, but she’s the only one I got . . . ;-)
evening, CT, CE
Oh, boy CT, that was a great blast from the past. Bozo news too!
Back atcha hoss, to you and yers.
Yeah, BIA, every song, was insanely grand.
One of them stellar albums of all time projects.
Track by track, start to finish, side by side.
;-)
Aloha, PPD…!
Heh, blushing, but back to you and yers maam with the love n huggies!
Hope all is well . . .
PPDCUS,
And the same to you. Evening.
Aloha, Loo Hoo…!
There was no bad song on that album . . . n that’s one of them~

Heady times and heady stuff, oh yeahhhh . . .
Goodbye Stranger…
Howdy, everypup!
Tis, but some sadness. Just getting back to FDL.
Oh – I LURVES this song! I sequenced it on my synth, as well as “Long Way Home” way back.
Lemme see if I can find them – thought I did a good job at the time.
I favor this one.
Long Way Live.
I’ve still got the vinyl, but, I’ve also burnt out a few cassettes of BIA over the years…! ;-)
Hey Loo Hoo! Welcome!!!
Aloha, Kelly…! How’s the Front Range tonite…?
The tempo to this was insane, one just HAD to tap along and bop to it. The wah pedal on the git was insane, the harmonies like all the songs, stellar.
LeSigh.
We’re gonna cover the whole album tonite, are’nt we.
;-)
Oh . . . *lowerseyesonfonts*
I’m game…! ;-)
Rejoice Baby!
I’d like to hear that Kelly, if ya find it and can post it.
;-)
N now, I gots to g’thud . . .
Best to all . . . be well, hug ‘em close, n when ya can sang and play it loud and with verve!!!!
*G*
Goodnight All!
Lord is it Mine…
G’thud, Larue…!
Sweet dreams, Christine…!
I can’t find those Supertramps – they must be on that 2007 machine we retired. Dang. I’ll have to look on the synth itself (later, it’s late!)
But I sequenced damn near the whole album. Including this, believe it or not.
Was very popular at Youth Mass back in the day.
I think I know this Supertramp album and STYX “Pieces of 8″ as well as “Grand Illusion” by heart – every track! LOL
So much for opera cred

*heh* You know good music when ya hear it Kelly…! ;-)
OMG – I posted the same clip, from a different youtuber!
How odd
Kept me in for one last reply.
STYX?
Heh, ya musta loved Yes too . . . Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman, n such.
N now off I go . . . watched LOTR Fellowship Of The Ring, tonite.
I have woven fantasy’s of Arwen (Liv Tyler) n Galadriel (Cate Blanchett) dancing in my head as the 9 slay orcs and bring Gandalf back alive . . . ;-)
In all the books, I think I still favor The Ents . . . heroes!!!!
Nite awls . . . ;-)
Pieces Of Eight/Aku Aku…
Aloha, Suz…! I hope ya do get some good sleep…! *g*
*heh* I thought I’d clicked on the clip I’d just posted…! ;-)
