Oh look, somebody’s assistant did a Wikipedia search just before it ironically went all black. Because if there’s one obvious comparator to Newt Gingrich it is a black man who could take a punch and was famous for power from his left.
But for at least another 18 hours FoxNews is almost all-in on Romney not being the nominee. Hard to believe that news network has trouble with any sort of factual reality of any kind.

Newt has Palin’s endorsement. In a sane world, that would be the kiss of death. Or perhaps Sarah wants to be the next Mrs. Newt. Newt is probably looking, that’s why his blonde harpy is never far from the picture.

Anyone who swallows whole the weasely slimy statement by Mitt that he thinks his tax rate is close to 15% … oh, wait. It’s the media. He gave us a number, now we can move on.
Less than zero is closer to 15% than 25% or 35%…. While his people busily scrub this year’s tax return, while the media tell themselves oh, yeah, that’s good enough info, what’s in the returns since the last time he publicly ran?

I like Palin’s call for an extended primary season in order to thoroughly vet the candidates. These people have absolutely ZERO sense of irony.
Good morning pups from Moscow. City jammed with cars, best caviar and smoked salmon in the world, and dare I say it, the most beautiful women in the mnost stylish minks I’ve ever seen. Looks like a fool’s paradise and probably is, but for the moment it’s paradise.
I wonder what Murdoch has against Romney? They both seem to worship at the altar of the almighty dollar. So what’s the major malfunction?
I wondered that, as well. My guess is that Murdoch knows who constitute his “base,” and that’s where Murdoch’s money comes from. So if the wingnuts hate on Mittens, then so does “Sir” Rupert & Jabba the Ailes.
However, the money boyz appear to want Willard to “win,” and my prediction is that it’ll be a cage fight between Zero & LDS Mittens. Pick your poison; don’t think it makes a damn bit of difference who “wins.”
Moscow in January is a helluva lot more fun than Iowa.*g*
