Snow, snow and more snow here today. Lovely and cold, about 23 and due to dip to 16 degrees. About 5 inches, I’d guess. Roast chicken and yams tonight. Read all day, and that was wonderful.

Curled up yes! Fire last night, but a wee too cold for a fire tonight (damn that lack of fireplace doors). Sure wish I had my Dad’s old woodstove.

I’m warm and inside also, but snow (or any precip for that matter) isn’t on the menu down here. Dry and chilly, very nice.

Both teams had good reason to believe that the clock was on their side in the last 4:02 of this game. If you are the Saints or the 49ers, you feel like grabbing the lead with very little time left is a plus. And neither club imagined the other getting it back.

I measured – the final 7:32 of clock in this game, less commercials – took a whopping 36 minutes to play. Talk about stretching time!
