What better way to start the day than with a pair of somewhat barky little Eskimo doggies? So here they are again, the Fluffy White Couch Dogs, ready to chase you around until you tell them to shut up, give them a treat, or both.
Apparently, the easiest way to get the Fluffy Whites together in a photograph is through the use of — what else? — food. And the FWCDs are eagerly awaiting some treats in this photo. Petey’s the one with the wide-open mouth, Penny’s the one with the long muzzle.
Grab the beverage and morning comestibles of your choice, kick back and chat, and imagine that two pairs of soulful brown eyes are watching your every move to see if you wind up dropping a piece of bacon on the floor. (Please don’t, it’s too salty for them!)

About Firedoglake
Those are some cute pooches, PW.
Holy crap, I have an overstuffed Pomeranian that looks just like them!
What’s your Pommy’s name, TM?
They are. They’re all wooly and fuzzy, and their undercoat would make fine yarn if I could convince their owners to save it when they brush the doggies.
Oh no: Scary Little Doggies! Run for your lives!!
Morning PW & Pups of Fire.
They’re cute, but I prefer large dogs now. Real dogs, ha.
Yes, they’re very dangerous! They might bark your ears off!
Cute puppers. I love the sound of their claws on floors as they race around the place.
And when they’re trying to get some traction to really get going…
I bet they like toes. Or fingers. Or noses. :-P
Watching them skid on throw rugs they mistook for wall-to-wall carpeting is also fun.
They’ve got floor surfing down to an art form now. My friend’s told her parents they should wax the dogs and use them as floor buffers.
They sometimes bite, but are apparently fairly gentle. The problem is that both (human) parents are elderly and a touch frail, though still active. The mother in particular has thin skin that bruises if you look at it funny, and since the doggies love her rather fiercely, she often has little marks of their affection on her hands and forearms. (Though that’s apparently waned a bit; I think they’ve caught on to the fact that they’re hurting their human mommy.)
I think we’d be surprised at just how intuitive four-leggeds are. Or not. *g*
The “eyes” have it.Never , never look into those loving, trusting, pleading, loyal brown eyes.Eye contact with your dog? releases the same chemical in their brain as is released in a mother when she breast feeds hre baby……………
No wonder my beagles look at me funny when I look them in the eye…
Uh-oh!
