A Merry Occupy Christmas From Occupy Boise

By: Jane Hamsher Sunday December 25, 2011 12:00 pm

Katie F. is the FDL member liaison to Occupy Boise. She is one over 110 liaisons who are helping Occupy Supply to provide holiday meals today to occupations across the country. Yesterday the local Channel 6 news was at the Boise encampment reporting on 10 die-hard occupiers who will be there over Christmas. Katie happened to be there as well and was also interviewed for the segment.

A Beautiful Season

By: masaccio Sunday December 25, 2011 10:45 am

Silent Day

By: Glenn W. Smith Sunday December 25, 2011 9:30 am

I bet the Earth and all its critters love Christmas day. Not the religious part, particularly. But, with due respect for those of us who follow different paths, Christmas is pretty close to an international holiday. By: Kevin Gosztola Sunday December 25, 2011 7:00 am

Christmas just isn’t Christmas without holiday music. But, I am not talking about the standards, the songs that are over played on the radio and in Big Box stores, which people endure as they scramble around to purchase gifts and prepare for Christmas Day. I am talking about the blues, doo wop, R&B & soul.

By: Kelly Canfield Saturday December 24, 2011 6:54 pm

Thursday we had a bunch of snow here in Denver. It stopped snowing about 4:00 in the afternoon and there was about 9 inches at my house!

Jennifer and Dave (OMB here at FDL) are visiting for the holidays and they along with Mr. B decided to go over and check out the annual “Blossom of Lights” at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
