Rich Lowry’s Lost that Tingling Feeling

By: Scarecrow Monday December 26, 2011 6:25 am

Poor sad little Rich. Today he echoes the conservative lament that the GOP just “doesn’t have our A Team on the field.” “A” apparently stands for Anonymous, because he has trouble even imagining who that might be.

Mainstream?

One of my less favorite Holiday traditions with my retired father in Arizona is his affection for FoxNews. But there has been a long-standing, occasionally violated, understanding between us not to discuss politics. I’m sure a few of you have similar arrangements.

Sunday Late Night: Xmas, Another View

By: Teddy Partridge Sunday December 25, 2011 8:01 pm

With full awareness that next year could be worse (can you imagine!?) I want to wish every one of you a happy healthy New Year full of self-awareness and revolution. And here’s to less influence from right-wing bigots and the panderers thereto.

The Gingerbread House Project

By: Kelly Canfield Sunday December 25, 2011 7:00 pm

Here’s my little story about a gift and a Christmas project.

(All the photos were taken by my partner Mr. B – and he made the project too as you’ll see.)

This December is the 2nd Anniversary that Mr. B’s folks have been living in an assisted living facility. The place is great – and we love the staff. They’re all quite nice and have been very helpful with the parents.

We wanted to do something nice for them, but don’t have a lot of money. There’s also the problem if you give something to one staffer, but not another…you get the idea.

Occupy Supply Thanks Occupy Memphis

By: Jane Hamsher Sunday December 25, 2011 3:00 pm

FDL and Occupy Supply have been working with Occupy Memphis since Kevin Gosztola first visited their encampment in late October and bought cold weather sleeping bags and other supplies for them.

Kevin stayed with local FDL liaison Gordon G on his trip to Memphis, and Gordon has been doing a great job getting supplies to the occupiers ever since.

Happy Holidays to FDL and Occupy Supply From Occupy Harrisburg

By: Jane Hamsher Sunday December 25, 2011 1:30 pm

Two weeks ago I called FDL member Steve C. and asked him if he would be a liaison for OccupySupply at Occupy Delaware in Wilmington. Since that time, Steve has also taken on liaison duties at 3 other occupations: Dover, Harrisburg and Lancaster.
