Find a nice comfortable chair and get a shitload of popcorn ready as we watch the EU PTB turn a crisis into a disaster.
- “The key item on the agenda is a Franco-German proposal on budgetary discipline, with automatic penalties for eurozone nations that overspend. Pre-summit talks between Britain, France and Germany broke up without agreement as each set out its position.” Eurozone crisis: Talks to save euro begin in Brussels
- David Cameron and Nicolas Sarkozy clash as leaders wrangle over euro deal. David Cameron was at the centre of a furious row with Nicolas Sarkozy on Thursday after Paris tried to isolate the prime minister at the EU summit by suggesting that Britain is seeking to exempt the City of London from all European regulations.
- I wouldn’t normally link to HuffPo but I’m gonna make an exception with this twofer. Naomi Klein speaks at TED on Addiction to Risk and one of TED’s Senior Fellows, Cesar Harada, looks at new ways to deal with oil spills. TED is a wonderful program and their site will really stimulate those little gray cells. The talk on spider silk is amazing.
- “Little progress has been made to resolve a dispute between Pakistan and NATO as two key routes supplying troops in Afghanistan remain closed for a record 13th day. The standoff is raising fears of shortages, and is further fraying ties between Pakistan and the United States. For the thousands of truckers stranded along the border, however, it’s a cause for celebration.” Party on, dudes!
- Occupy Wall St. Joins Fight Against Foreclosures. Black activists leading the struggle against foreclosures welcomes OWS to their communities.
- Beautiful powerful anti-war song by Jackson Browne with Dawes: Lives in the Balance at Zuccotti Park Occupy. This was uploaded on 7 Dec and I’m gonna assume it was filmed earlier that day.
Marx in the Morning
For those have watched or are watching Prof Wolff’s Intro to Marxian Economics, at the end of Session 3 he holds up a DVD and tells the class to watch it. That DVD is a documentary he made in 2009 titled Capitalism Hits the Fan. In it he traces the roots of our current economic crisis. YouTube has a presentation of the film with a Q&A with Prof Wolff at the New School in NYC. The film itself is a shortened version but I highly recommend it.
The truth will set you free but first it’ll piss you off

Morning, SD.
Good morning Lakeside Diner booth warmers. Thanks for the post SoDrag.

Mornin’, pups
An update on the Eurozone.
Eurozone countries go it alone with new treaty that excludes Britain
Wonderful news — for progressives.
Sure as hell beats warmin’ the bench. *g*
Good morning all.
Good Morning, Southern Dragon,
We’ve seen how Some People here in the good old USofA like to change history. Now, it feels as if I’m watching Some People over there try to change geography. What’s next?
Good morning SD and firepups.
SD, thank you for the postings every morning.
As a combat veteran I’m just flat really pissed off about this.
Additional remains sent to landfill, Air Force acknowledges
Papandreou will be guest on democracynow. Sounds like he’s going to be in the last segment.
Doesn’t beat warm sticky buns though.
(And just so you know, I love my booth at the Lakeside Diner.)

Just tryin’ to do my bit to keep people informed about what’s going on around them.

There are just no words to effectively quantify the outrage.
I wonder what they tell the families of these soldiers?
Good morning, oldnslow and pupses. Thank you, SouthernDragon.
This comes about as close as I think we can.
What If They Gave A War And Everybody Partied

The Air Force is a known hotbed of fundamentalist Christian zealots sanctamoniously pounding their chests nonstop about their patriotic superiority. Fuck The Top brass of the Air Force and fuck them hard. Fuck them right out of the service and their pensions too.
Not that I have strong feelings about this or anything.
On the home front, did you see that Obama is threatening to make a recess appointment to get Richard Cordray in at the top of the CFPB? Is he finally willing to make a stand against those who would block his desires? Time will tell.
Good Morning Dining Pups!
In case you missed it we cannot get real information on the risks of our Banking facilities, nor have a fully operating Consumer Safety agency, BUT they can get more goods on YOU!

“There are just no words to effectively quantify the outrage”
Well said oldnslow. I am just sick about this revelation. We can’t even take care of those that gave the last full measure to this country.
It’s a good and wonderful thing that you have strong feelings. It means you’re still alive and you still care.
From DDay’s story.
Britain wants speculation without taxation!
The IMF has been doin it for 40 plus years.
Morning all.
Well that seals the deal. Tip off Republicans on what you are going to do so they do not have “recess” and no appointments can be made. Another fine example of negotiating with the enemy.
Speculation without taxation! I wonder where they learned that from?
Granny McConnell will make sure 1 member keeps the Senate from recessing for the holidays. Obama saying he “might” make a recess appointment told McConnell to go ahead and do that. Asshole.
Morning OmAli I was so busy yesterday afternoon I didn’t get much of a chance to respond to you. :( I will try to do better.
No Aces up the sleeve there. Why does he think he can play Dimensional Chess?
I owe a beverage.
Some thoughts about Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich’s absurdly long 14 year sentence handed down this week for white collar crimes in which he personally took no money. This was a sentence worthy of the old Soviet Union rather than the United States. Even the local media and the “man and woman on the street”, who normally cheer for harsh sentences, seemed to mostly think that this sentence was over the top, especially since the e-governor has two young daughters. Sentences for public corruption have been getting exponentially stiffer. Congressman Dan Rostenkowski got 17 months in the 1980s, ex-Governor George Ryan got 6 1/2 years in the early 2000s, and now this.
The real danger here is not governmental corruption, which has been around forever, especially in a state like Illinois, but an out-of-control U.S. Justice Department. The U.S. attorney’s office is the sharp edge of the sword for the Military Industrial Complex when it comes to terrifying average people with the threat of prosecution (admittedly, an ex-governor is not average, but his extreme sentences is intended as an example and threat). The FBI, police, and military are all part of this prosecution complex, which operates both technically within and totally outside the law in coordinated fashion.
The goal is to cow all of us into submission to dictates from above, so that we fear for our very lives if we commit the slightest deviation from what we are told is acceptable. The gross police violence against OWS is part and parcel of this conduct. And somehow, although it aggressively uses vast resources against poor crack users and insists that they serve near-life sentences, the Justice Department doesn’t have the resources to investigate and prosecute Chase and Goldman Sachs.
Good morning, SD. Good morning, pups. SD, Jackson Browne, Dawes and the two ladies also sang that same song at Freedom Plaza in DC on Monday Dec 5, plus a couple others. I’ll try to find the link. Those two ladies had some fine voices.
Tell us how you really feel. Morning OnS and Demi how are ya today. Pissed I know. I have that story about the soldiers remains bookmarked. That is just par for the course with this government.
Deadline passes for Occupy Boston without eviction
Yes time will tell but he is in campaign progressive mode so he will say anything. Hiya Demi.
Britain was there first. Wall St. may have learned it from the City of London.
Does that mean we’ll have someone reading holiday stories to us? Or, playing a guitar and singing christmas songs? Will they take turns?
I know. I ollies gots lots of questions.
Good morning, friends! I just got here and haven’t followed the links yet or read the comments, but since you mention TED I thought I’d repost something I posted a couple of days ago late in a thread. It seems when we have to enter words in CAPTCHA (or now, ReCAPTCHA) to prove we’re not a bot or a spammer but a real human, we’re also digitizing literature or helping translate the Web into multiple languages. And we could actually learn another language in the process.
This 17 minute video is well worth watching:
TEDxCMU – Luis von Ahn – Duolingo: the Next Chapter in Human Computation
Good morning all,
Back from the PcA two weeks in the books .
Now onto coffee and comments.
A beverage coming back at you too for saying it much better than I did.
I dunno. Seems to me it’s more the govt telling the unwashed masses, “See, we can go after corrupt politicians and put ‘em jail.” Blagojevich doesn’t have a lot of friends in high places so he was the perfect scapegoat. His attorneys will no doubt appeal the sentence so this saga isn’t over yet.
True. We must remember that Golden Sacs here and everywhere is the same entity.
Hi ya, tall dark and handsome.
One more week of school here, how ’bout you? Has your daughter been to Occupy St. Louis yet? This might be the time to take her, when she has time off from school.
Not a filibuster but just a ploy to keep the Senate in session. Have 1 Senator more or less at the Capitol every day. Prolly rotate those who stay in DeeCee over the recess period.
I’ve got a fresh pot and am happy to pour.
SD, we’ll get you hooked on this virtual coffee.
Great comment in support of this.
Sounds like a good time to Occupy The Capitol.
I am feeling really tired but pressin on. I haven’t taken her to the occupy yet. I don’t think my wife would approve. I think she feels that I am in sort of harms way when I go downtown. I would like both of them to march but I don’t think that will happen. Tall dark and handsome eh, you haven’t seen a pic yet.
David Dayen wrote yesterday:
Not holding my breath.
Methinks Mr Cardona should speak to Bill Black about prosecuting these people.
Does it take just one person sitting back and reading Readers Digest and eating hot dogs to qualify as staying in session?
It’s all Kabuki do you have your popcorn yet? I thnk it is on sale at Aldi’s this week.
Yep, and s/he doesn’t actually have to be physically in the Senate chamber to do so.
I want you to keep breathing.
Thanks for that clarification.
Don’t overdo it. Your health is more important than anything else.
Will never happen.
I know but their isn’t really anyone in St. Louis helping or covering them. Plus I will keep on going till I drop it’s the way I have been for 40 plus years. I think if I stay inactive I will get worse.
On edit: Thank you SD for your words of concern I appreciate it.
Thank you for the heads up on David Dayen’s comments from yesterday.
I was subbing and did not get to read any comments yesterday. :-(
Thank you. I live to serve.
Yes, popeye, I’m stocking up on popcorn.
My hat is off to you. Lucky kids, and brave you.
Good just don’t want you to run out. *g*
Quoting from the story about the remains in landfills:
Now that oughtta make those families feel much better. /s
Just fuckin’ clueless.
No shit.
Jackson Browne & Dawes. Found it but can’t get it to work. Still haven’t got the hang of this. Sorry, guys.
Not going to happen. I love my popcorn :)
This is just disgusting and it makes me even more outraged and ashamed of the country I live in. I guess that comment got me on the list.
It’s not the prosecution or going to jail (actually, deserved) that I’m talking about. It’s the 14 years. Never could stand Blagojevich, but can’t get this sentence out of my head.
Good to see you here. I takes a while t learn this system they use. I am still trying to figure it out. :)
Thank you for sharing that! It is awesome and his projects going forward are really needed. I love his humor cause it speaks close to my own.
Papandreou up on democracynow whining about the lack of democracy in a globalizing world.
And, you do it so well. Did you get the new waitress uniform that SD ordered for us? I think pink looks nice on blonds, don’t you?
Just sodding lying.
The sentence is what I’m talking about. It’s the severity that sends the message, not the actual prosecution.
I wonder if it was because he was so cocky? Just guessin.
Thank you, I am very lucky that at 68 and supposedly retired I still enjoy the kids. I chose not to go back to the school that I taught at for 38 years and instead work at two different schools closer to home.
hoocoodanode
He seems a little late.
You’re getting to the Real News site okay but the video won’t play?
Now your talking. :)
Oh, Molly!
Because of the stuff that you and I have delved into before you can read it here instead of upthread:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/credit-score-tracks-more-closely-211505384.html
I did, yes, and still I’m trying to get my hair to stand up like that. If I close my eyes and think of Newt it works, but I can’t pour the coffee without peeking.
Mine actually is blue, tho’, to match my eyes. I think you will look smashing in the pink. Just don’t go smashing the cups.
Amy asks Pap what role Goldman Sucks played in Greek debacle. Pap sez its still under study.
Saw you up thread. Sorry to appear to have ignored you. Such is not the case. Very busy here today and not keepin up.
O. M. G. With a beehive, no less.
Man can’t keep up with all the stories and topics. My book marks are becoming full. :)
Thanks for the play by play. I can’t get it here on the tv until late in the evening.
No prob. You know I suck off the government teat so I have the time. :)
Oh, really? I actually thought some of you guys would prefer this outfit.
Pap is a spineless clueless jerk, just like all the other so-called lefties.
I know. Same here. Then we try to get the TWOOPH out and have to deal with stupid Spoons characters.
DN! is repeated online at noon eastern.
I shouldn’t sound so cynical. I think I would enjoy them, too, but I’d hate to walk in unprepared and not have a good lesson plan waiting. I was always up most of the night when I taught.
LOL Yes that will work just fine. :)
Pap is proud to have “saved Greece from bankruptcy.” Geez.
What does TWOOPH mean?
Wolff mentions him in the vid I linked to in the thread. And this was in 2010.
Truth.
Can I ask in what sense you use the word TWOOP. I have looked it up but there are several meanings for it. Just curious.
Regulations simply won’t work in the current system. Indeed, regulations can’t work.
I woke up in the night and lay thinking of all the ways I am ashamed of this country, including what our elected officials are perpetrating. I had trouble going back to sleep. I’m too old and have too many grandkids to leave, and I’m not sure there are any good alternatives, but we’re just broken and I don’t see a fix coming anytime soon.
In other cheerful morning news, there are about 2 inches of “no snow in the forecast” out there this morning.
Seems I owe ya a beverage. Whatcha havin?
True.
That is brilliant.
Twooph is a play of words and meanings. It is a truth x 2, or a truth that cannot be said enough. It is also a funny taken from the movie, Blazing Saddles from Lilly about the New Black Sheriff in town.
I hear ya I have 4 kids and I guess that’s why I am fighting for them.
LOL
Coffeed out for now. Gonna have some of my homemade peanut butter cookies with a glass of milk in a bit, so I’ll let you know.
Thanks.
“It’s twue, it’s twue!”
Good deal, just want to mke sure you don’t have to go downstairs and fix one yourself.
LOL! It sure is!
Funny in a very sad way too.
Pupses dears, play nice and TGIF. Weekend, pupses, it almost is.

Good Morning SD and Firedogs,
hope everyone has seen 21 year old activist Abigail Borah interrupt the weak ass US Rep at the Durban Climate Change Summit yesterday to speak truth to Power

I heard they filmed several different versions of that scene. In one, the Sheriff says Darlin’, you’re sucking on my elbow.
Have a great day and stay safe.

Two thoughts WWGBD (what would gw bush do) find out who’s the one senator and have him picked up for questioning, recess appoint every Judge and appointment the goof balls didn’t in the next hour, then let the senator who was to run the ruse let go in a North Jersey strip club parking lot. Of course it would take a President, with Titanium rocks, who was into audacity over austerity.
Didn’t Rome fall because the supply lines were stretched too thin ? Didn’t they blow everything on the military while ignoring the pot holes that caused the wheels to fall of the circus wagons? Sounds familiar.
To the diner management ,SD, great job you’ve done with the place. Is tomorrow your day off ?
Wan’t she good! Then Amy Goodman followed up and there was still sounds from him like Charlie Brown’s teacher!
Fewer traffic deaths this year (or was it last) than most years on record. Just saw the headline in glancing & didn’t read story. I’ll see if I can find it.
Good Day, SD!
You got that right. Had to go to Office Depot yesterday afternoon. The roads are a nightmare already. Nothing like a couple hundred thousand stressed out people on the roads and in the stores.
Wow what a moving clip. Puttin skin the game. Love it.
Link
That was wonderful.
Too bad it’s not a public domain snapshot. It would look great up top a Diner post some morning.
I’m blond too, but I’ll go with blue!
Traffic fatalities lowest in 6 decades.
Thanks. I found it on msnbc too.
Ooooo! Great historical review there.
Yeppurs.
bye, you guys, too
glad the stats are better
pays to be especially defensive when people are stressed
xoxoxo
TWOOP! :)
Huzzah! Another Twoopher!
Might have to make that part of the sign on the outside of the Diner.
Good thing I know what Huzzah means. See I am prepared.
I am normally pretty unflappable about snow, since I’ve lived my entire life in the Midwest, but I have a hellish weekend that includes a one day trip to Indianapolis (about 3 hours south) to watch granddaughters dance in the Nutcracker, and I was hoping the forecast would be accurate — for a change.
Roads should be OK by tomorrow if it doesn’t keep snowing. But it was an unpleasant surprise.
In St. Louis they get an inch of snow and the expressways are chaos.
Terrible story…heard some of the families last night. So sad and absurd.
G’Morning all….How do you folks start so early? ;)
Plenty of coffee.
Go, right ahead! It is gold in my eyes.
Molly,
I think you will be fine. Don’t stress too much over it before you have to drive. It will cause your reflexes to be wrong. Stay safe.
Concerning our finest in landfills, every time I pass Kills landfill on Staten Island , my heart aches for the missing finest of the finest, NY Rescue One .
A fine example of MEN along with our military men and women, with Titanium Balls that were trashed.
I’m out too, pups. Might peek in later, but gotta get “walkin’ and talkin’” as an uncle used to say often.
Black spots of horror on our history.
Yeah, it’s really not a big deal. I’ve been driving in this stuff for about 52 years. But since I have to drive there and back in the same day, I was hoping for clear weather.
Stay safe MM. See ya later.
I am off to swim (in a pool) then go grocery shopping. See all you fine people later. Have a great day all.
Sounds like your signing off. Have a great weekend!
Came back from making the comment to you and it sounds like a lot of you are going to be getting off and out and about. Have a great day everyone!
Without all y’all the Diner wouldn’t be here. Thank yourselves for its existence.
Screw that appointment. I’d rather stay here with all of y’all.
Is there more coffee?
SouthernDragon,
What a great place to gather in the morning and meet friends just like your Diner planned. The food sounds great, demi offering to pour coffee, and the conversation is priceless. Thank you for taking the time to get the place up and running.
Just looked back upthread. You have a great weekend, too. I decided on more coffee and a sticky bun. With cranberry pineapple jam. The hell with the diet. It’s only once a year :)
Where did you find cranberry pineapple jam? That sounds really yummy.
Gettin’ yer ass kicked only hurts for a little while. The truth is forever.
Good morning, freedom and coffee (and tea) lovers. Thought for the day: Real power means never having to say you know where the money went.
Made it. Hope you guys like it, because, like everything else…overboard.
We’ll see.
That story really disgusts me. Support the troops, indeed.
Did you invent that? It is good.
LOL. Still the penultimate dick joke. ;-)
And now, the penultimate elbow joke. ;-)
I guess my first bye was the penultimate one.
Really have to go, this time.
ohmmmm
Morning, darlin’. I didn’t invent it, it’s in the CEO Handbook. ;-)
Have a great day and weekend, sweet thing. I’m dog-sitting again this weekend while Mary visits folks in Michigan. All us old dogs will be hanging out together.
Morning RC just out the door to swim (to maintain my skinny ass) LOL and just wanted to say hello and have a good day. Prolly see ya later.
Saw you on the way out. It’s good. And, never going to prison is a perk.
You have a good one, rc
The day already has me by the throat :)
catch you later,
ohmmm
Great, the DOJ is a branch of government full of quitters.
So much for American Exceptionalism…
“It’s just too difficult. We can’t do it. We give up.”
Wow. What a bunch of limp weenies. And we are now suppose to trust this branch of government to be a “player in the balance of the branches of government — mind you I realize there is no balance of the branches of government right now.
We need a fourth branch of government. I think we should call it, BUAUTL (Buck Up And Uphold The Law) or the “Buckupal Branch”.
There already is a 4th branch of government. It’s the Norquist.
Bawwwwwwwhaaaaa!!!!
Man, I needed that laugh.
Reading your comment made my heart sink.
So much for honor and duty.
So very sad and infuriating.
Good morning, amigo. Wish I could be in that pool with you, swimming seems to be the only thing that’s good for this torn-up body of mine anymore. And hot tubs, of course. ;-)
I respect you, klynn, but that comment is an insult to limp weenies.
Jane could raise some serious dough for FDL with a book of memorable quotes pulled from the comments.
BTW SD, have any FDLer’s who are near Stamford, CT suggested an FDL gathering at the Lakeside Diner?
See, there’s a comment right there that would be great for the book of quotes!
(klynn blushing at the insult.)
I only play with people I like. ;-)
x2
Nope. Would be nice, wouldn’t it?
Or Bushitler, Darth Cheny, and Rummy.
When I saw that I read, “Bullshitler”
I’m such a liar. I’m lurking. I have a to-do list as long as that Homo Simpleton’s arm, but I’m hanging around the diner.
god I hope no one took that as a slur. It was supposed to be a take off on Homo Sapiens.
…and now I’m going to brew a big pot of decaf….
Let’s give those Air Force brass a nice little ride on a Huey gunship, CIA style.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that lol.
Unfinished lists are on the list of the many things that make me crazy. Dog sitting sounds lovely. Have you ever told us your dog’s name? We know our pets’ names around here better than we do their persons’, just about.
That’s a good metaphor for the value the PTB place on regular people. We’re basically garbage to be disposed of out of their sight.
I imagine his dog’s name is realitysniffer.
Oh blert!!!
btw, I love your signature, “Pffttt”. Not sure I spelled it right :)
Mornin’ Om. I wish I could be at the diner earlier to chat with you guys. Did Rod get his new sled or is it wrapped under the tree?
Riley the killer pit bull, that doesn’t know he’s supposed to be a killer and is actually afraid of everything new. But he has an awesome bark, and loves to use it. His biggest thrill, though, is laying on top of his Daddy lol. That way, he knows he won’t lose track of where I am. I’ve never seen a more devoted dog, and I get joy from him every day. He’s a rescue, the third fabulous rescue dog I’ve had.
At least you didn’t guess “Pantysniffer” lol.
Hi ysd, don’t worry, some of us shiftless sort are in and out all day. It is so good to see you.
Rod’s sled is doing double duty as a front porch decoration (you can just see the front corner of it on my profile photo) but can hardly keep itself from sliding off to Kingston Springs. I keep telling it that it must wait for snow, but you know those sleds….
Are you way out west? Where ’bouts did you put down your little snapdragon roots?
Ha! But I *did* imagine him enjoying a good human leg.
Riley sounds like just the kind of dog I would love. My Airedales looked and sounded fierce, but wouldn’t hurt a fly.
So he doesn’t lose track of you :) Good dog, Riley.
Rock and Roll Abby, you are my latest new hero.
NEVER! He’s neutered, but has better manners than that, anyway. Me, now, that’s another story entirely lol.
I’ve had one aggressive dog, an Akita. He nailed two burglars, but also bit a couple of people he shouldn’t have, and loved to fight anything that moved. I will NEVER have another aggressive dog, but I have really come to love pit bulls. They get bad press, but a “good” pit bull is pretty much the perfect dog. Riley is everybody’s friend, even cats. And has the world’s most expressive eyes.
Pit bulls get a bad rap. It’s not the breed, it’s the owners.
I think that’s better than Bushitler, some folks think it’s a little extreme comparing Bush to Hitler, I don’t and I bet all the Iraq people don’t either.
Right on caleb36
Without even making any comparisons, his crimes against humanity just crush the soul to contemplate.
Definitely agree. Any dog can be dangerous, but if you get them young and neuter them, then it’s all on the owner. Riley is with me 24/7, and I can take him anywhere because I know he will never do anything wrong.
I agree, too. I guess the only thing that makes me cautious about them is the power of their jaws, not their intent.
One time I was walking Angus, the most gentle of dogs, and we were jumped in the street by a big dog that was running loose. He did some damage before Angus even fought back, but in the confusion he (Angus) bit me, too, while I was tangled up in the lead.
What courage and dignity. She was amazing. She shamed his ass for all the world to see.
They should be court marshaled and sent to Gitmo.
It’s the only form of exercise I can do sadly.
Hej popeye. Want some lunch?
In that case, do it joyously. ;-)
Breaking up a dogfight is always risky. I’ve got a knack for it, though, and would never just stand by and watch.
I didn’t intend to be in the middle of it. I have to laugh when I remember what really broke it up, though. I had a plastic bag full of poop and I hit that dog over the head as hard as I could with it and he had crap all over him, LOL!
Surprised I didn’t hit myself or Angus!
Might as well wash some mugs while I’m drinking up all SD’s decaf.
Here’s a good one: Coffee: we can get it anywhere, and get as loaded as we like on it, until such teeth-chattering, eye-bulging, nonsense-gibbering time as we may be classified unable to operate heavy machinery.
~Joan Frank
Not that that would ever happen around here….
The Truth Will Always Be
LOL. Great imagery there. I just grab the tail of the aggressor dog, and swing him away from the action.
We’re in the SF Bay Area, in Marin County just north of the bridge. Sadly, no snow here. Happily, no real cold either.
That is a good tip, rc. I can see how that would work on several levels.
That must be a beautiful area. And we’ll always wait around for you here *g*
You guys take care, hope to see you later, or in the a.m.
The very best dogs are the ones who spend every waking moment with their person. It’s the best way to make them social and loveable.
Later, Om. Have a good day.
OMFG! That is hilarious. The dog must have been all WTF?!
I’ve always worked at home since 1986, so my dogs have been very lucky that way. They are always with me, and no kids or spouse to dilute the love they get. Love me, love my dogs lol.
Me and Riley are on the move now, so I wish a great weekend to you all. Love and hugs all around. ((Firepups))
rc,
I just come back from walking my dog, only to find out…I missed the “dog talk” posted within the “coffee talk?”
Thanks for “dogg’n” me this AM! I need the teasing right now!!!
Have a great weekend…with the dogs. ;)
Later, rc and Riley.
Just had oatmeal after my 1 mile swim. Fix me a nice dinner. *g*
See ya bro stay safe.
I will. No lentils, promise :)
I wait in anticipation. *g*
All this talk about Riley makes me think of Doghouse Riley, a lefty Indiana blogger with a sharp sense of humor:
Bats Left/Throws Right
Very nice piece.
I’m so last I’m almost first. It’s Sunday, already.
Riley says he’s glad I’m not last anymore. He considers it an embarrassment to be last. (He said that in a note, of course. Dogs can’t talk. Neither can goats, so don’t even start lol.)
Christmas Eve, midnight they do:). I used to take a special treat to my horses every year. Just they and I would be in that quiet, peaceful barn, and I’m pretty sure they spoke to me.
Does Riley print his notes, or type them?
Tell Riley that I know all about embarrassment. We are both going to avoid it, in future Have a good day, we are off on holiday tasks soon. Went to symphony-ballet last night and am now officially in holiday spirit. B crfl, ohmmm
He sings them, silly. Dogs can’t print or type. Hell, darlin’, I barely can lol.
I like the image of you in the barn with the horses, it reminds me of all the peace I’ve found in life just being alone with various animals.
Now, someone needs to either save me from this embarrassing potion, or hand me a broom.
