Kevin Bloody Wilson — Santa Was Stoned At Christmas.
What’s on your mind?
Suzanne!!
nahant! how’s deadwood city tonight?
Windy!!!
tis cold here — 36 outside with clear skies.
windy
the wind
*heh* This Santa will be stoned on Xmas…! ;-)
Aloha, Suz and lln pups…!
aloha tut — how’s paradise tonight?
Suz!
rond! how goes dood?
It’s great to be back at sea level…! ;-)
It was a gorgeous day too…!
Ah, Holiday debauch – my very favorite.
Spiffy tune, Suz!
Well off to see what the inside of my eyelids look like!! ☺☺♥♥
hey newton — glad ya liked it dood. how was your day?
g’nite nahant
Woo Hoo!!!! Indeedy…! *g*
winds of change
Pretty well. Big paper due tomorrow, a book to read for next week, then done. 1 semester down, 3 to go. Not a moment too soon.
Great. Cut through a mountain of paperwork and ph calls, leaving tomorrow as a relative day of leisure…
How’s your deal?
woohoo!!!
how long of a break will ya get?
fucking cold — still not acclimated but i am wearing only 2 layers tonight instead of 3
Well think fucking warm.
There must be bellows for that there stove.
blowin’
hahaha — i’m sure i’ll be put in my place by someone who is really fucking cold and i’ll be warmer just by contrast :)
No shit. One of those Ohio-types, or Homer or Wasilla dwellers – that’s some cold.
*heh* I sooo feel ya, M’dear…! ;-)
wild wind blows
i talked to steph tonight and she’s forecast for a low of 20 tonight and snow through tomorrow… she will be decorating her tree tomorrow while the snow falls outside
I’ll put you in your place. It’s 50 here and I’m freezing.
So there.
There is nothing worse than a central Floridian in Dec/Jan, well okay, we hate August too.
hard winds
tuez! thanks doodette :) how many layers do ya have on or do ya have central heat?
cold wind
The fact I actually have clothes on, as opposed to shorts and a t-shirt says it all.
Yes, we have central heat but it has to get below 50 in the house before I’ll turn it on. Heating bills suck. I like my 6+ months of no heat or AC electric bill.
*heh* It’s 65 here and the Better Half is grumbling about freezing…! ;-)
windy town
Let her know it could be worse ;)
i hear that! i rarely get to run around in shortsleeves or barefoot – tis a rare event. when i lived in ca, i refused to turn the heater between april 15th and october 15th.
I know things are “different” in CA, but I had no idea it was in a different hemisphere.
I did offer to take her up the mtn…! ;-)
cold
No pun intended, either, I’m sure ;-)
’bout three weeks. I’m ready. I was thinking about you guys today when I was out on the bike. Crisp, cool, perfect weather for riding. 80 again by the first of the week.
sorry for fucking up how i said that — my point was that i wanted 6 months of no high gas bills (had gas heat at the cabin)
Sit down I think I love you
I knew what you were gettin’ at. Just had to give you a hard time.
On edit: It was not my intention to offend.
hey margot — how’s ohio tonight?
Wow. Ms. D tells me our electric bill was 80 bucks last month. As long as we don’t have some freakish three week cold snap like last year, it’ll stay that way through March.
:) forking fonts don’t provide those same verbal cues like tone etc
but then you have those summer ac bills to balance out the low winter ones…
hey Suz, hi everyone. It’s gotten slightly cooler here, nothing to fret about. Listening to warm songs:)
like this one?
Yes, fonts don’t allow for nonverbal cues.
did you ever do your roof?
One of the ‘costs’ of Paradise is an average monthly Electric bill of $250+ for a small household…! Still too much of our electricity(80+%) is derived from ‘fuel oil’…! 8-(
yes! dang it, got lost in yootube-land again. I better say goodnight!
jeebus dood — you had said island living was expensive but dayam… is that just for typical electrical (lights etc) or does a/c and/or heat also factor into that bill?
utube is a forking time machine margot. g’nite
These guys were likely stoned too, doing this one.
If I go crazy . . . .
Would You Still Call Me Superman?
Hot mando, vocals. Get it, boys!
*G*
hey larue — how’s sac tonight?
Damn that’s . . . perfect!
*G*
I got earbuds in, this is killin me.
Feels like I’m walkin the fog shrouded streets of San Mateo in the 60′s with a transistor radio and an earphone . . . . pure pre teen and early teen angst on the raydeo . . . LeSigh.
Basically, just your normal service…! That figure is the average rate per household that our local provider, HELCO had published in their annual report…! Many houses here don’t have central air/heat…!
holy cow!
A version that shows the dudes, and their talents.
I’m sure Suz has seen this, she previes her stuff better n anyone, it’s why she’s LLN Queen! *G*
This was a great studio band, this is a great live vid from them at the time.
Windy.
I love seein how the song is arranged and how the vocals are stacked and the instruments are set. Lord this is great music.
i almost went with that one…
lewis does cold
Damn, that’s some stellar 5 part harmony . . . that’s fine, fine stuff Suz, heck of a hit on yer part!
5 Part harmony!!!
Sweet.
Nope, but it’s still on the agenda.
And for the record, heating bills in Florida are twice what AC costs.
On the other hand, the last year I lived in NC the heating bill (gas)doubled. Prior to that, it had been half the cost of using electric.
Windy!
BUT no rain or snow, dang it.
;-)
which one dood?
why are they so high? i wudda thought fl a/c bills were the expensive ones…
I’m still groggy from the past two nites up top, I shall bid ya’ll a fond adieu for the evening…! *g*
aloha tut
Anthem To The Who, The Kids Are Allright.
Bluegrass style, yeahhhhhhh . . . .
sorry peeps, i’ve hit the wall. thank you for letting me hang out with ya tonight.
g’nite all
‘night Suz. You’re the best. :)
Hey all,
I’m doing a drive-by hit and run. I was up last night until 5 am on FDL’s Dissenter watching through Oakfosho and Occupy LA eyes. I haven’t even had time to check up on the Story Told of the evening.
I just want to give a head’s up to a link commenter-of-our-heart ,mzchief, put in the discussion last night.
I don’t link, but you can.

This is perfect ” listen while you cook dinner” material. Or, watch over coffee with your father who worked for Rand during the “Nixon’s hiring Rand to legally postpone the elections” era. Now that a lot has probably been declassified, or sold to the highest bidder; I’m looking forward to watching it with a career Defense Technical writer.
Yeah, good times. And Hair opened in L.A.
