My mom’s stuffing recipe relies on about a pound of butter. After that, anything you add tastes good.

Since I can’t seem to duplicate my Granny’s recipe I have given up on stuffing.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day with loved ones. Do NOT discuss politics or religion. :)
Stuffing did someone say stuffing??
Lets see bread (toasted), onions, celery, mushrooms, walnuts chopped and Craisins chopped… cook up the onions, celery, mushrooms and walnuts in lots of butter season with Bell’s Seasoning and ground black pepper to taste cook until all nice and translucent add to the bread and craisins add some milk till bread gets a bit moist and then add an egg or two mix well(with your hands) and stuff that bird!! I am starting in 30 so I will be missing for a few hours whilst I get the bird (23 lbs)in the oven for tonight’s dinner for 15!!!

I was just kinda bummin’ because I missed the traditional noon playing of Alice’s Restaurant on the local radio stations.
I used to have this entirely memorized. And so did my little sister.

umm – my thanksgiving pizza is coming along nicely, behaving quite well in the freezer as we speak.

I’ve got my eye on some left over chicken Mcnuggets in the refrigerator. That’s almost turkey, right?? Right???
I do a “killer” red chile, pinon, chorizo, sage, and cornbread plus the usuals stuffing. It’s the best thing about Th meal!
