President Obama has been traveling the country championing his doomed America Jobs Act as his plan to address the jobs crisis. But during the same time Obama has been publicly flogging this dead show bill, his administration was actually implementing policies and pushing legislation through Congress that will destroy tens of thousand of jobs in this country.

Later today, Senate Republicans will filibuster the American Jobs Act, the $447 billion bill to add demand into the economy through infrastructure spending, payroll tax cuts, extended unemployment insurance and a variety of other programs, paid for by a 5.6% surtax on millionaires. That would stop the bill in its current form.

David Brooks delved deep into his storage locker of misinformation to tell readers that the idea of blaming the richest 1 Percent for the country’s problems is just silly. A group calling itself 99 New York is going to stage a march today in support of Occupy Wall Street. It includes UnitedNY, Strong Economy for All Coaltition, NY Communities for Change, the Working Families Party and a bunch of other community organizations. They plan to march to the homes of several Masters of the Universe and present oversized symbolic checks representing the additional monies that will begin to line the pockets of the 1% once the New York State “millionaire’s tax” expires the end of this year.

With roughly three months until the New Hampshire primary, Mitt Romney is currently holding a solid lead in the state. A new poll from Institute of Politics (IOP) at Harvard University and the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College has Romney with 38 percent, followed by Herman Cain at 20 percent and Ron Paul at 13 percent.

Boston and Massachusetts State Police Raid #OccupyBoston Camp, 100 Arrested |

Early Tuesday morning, starting about 1;30 a.m., Boston Police, Massachusetts Sttate Police and others raided the second site occupied Monday afteroon by the Occupy Boston participants. About 100 people were arrested and charged with trespassing.
