Happy All Hallows’ Eve, ya’ll…!
What’s on your mind tonite…?
TRICK OR TREAT!
Happy Halloween Tuttle!!!!
tut!
Happy Halloween, CT and Pups.
Congrats, FunnyD, on the Zed and Aloha..! ;-)
Alohhhhh-HAH!
Hey, Suz!
Aloha, nahant…! How was your neighborhood’s trick or treating tonite…?
CT, Suz! The trick I have been noticing tonight is that the re-directs from FDL pages are way wack. WTF? Sorry, I mean wazzup with that?
And one thing, we got too much candy left at our house, and it probably should go directly into the garbage.
You couldn’t take yer extra sweets to an Occupy?
Speaking of which…I still gotta go shop for socks…
ETA: I had trouble with re-directs at My FDL earlier today. Wonder if it’s some kind of nasty web virus attack thingy…
Aloha, Suz…! Did any kids pop by for treats in your little Inlet…?
Aloha, bg…!
*heh* Ya can mail ‘em to me, M’dear…! ;-)
Hey, Suz!
How is that grand-baby, eh?!
Poison…
Hey, Gang. Lotsa kids and parents came by this year. I’d bought extra this year, and it all got given away by 9 p.m. Lights out for the later teens. Cute kids….everyone decked out. I live on a real street, so lots of folks drive in so the kids can get filled up. I enjoy seeing them even tho I think Halloween is kind of a weird idea. “:)~
OH, it is so fun to see the wee uns in their outfits. We had a few long wigs this year, sorta gaga-ish. Why is that not surprising? I am at LM’s tonight b/c I had the weekend off. AND, I am taking next weekend off too, que bonus!
Aloha, Dearie…! Living in a Condo/Hotel I didn’t get to see any little kiddies all dolled up…! 8-(
However, there’s a great little costume party going on in the Lobby, all the employees are hosting it…! ;-)
Hey CT, Suz , nahant, fd, and all pals…
Cool but no snow! That is amazing after the report east.
report the misdirects here bg — they are tracking all site problems with this handy form in the post — all ya have to do is fill it out
driveway is too long, house is not visible from the street and there’s a lotta distance between houses. haven’t had a one in the 4 halloweens i’ve spent here
i really am out in the boonies
hey funny — she’s got tooth #2 now and has almost figured out crawling. right now she scoots on her belly pulling herself along with her arms and sorta kicks with her feet… almost got it figured out and when she does, jen’s gonna need her running shoes
Aloha, Chris…! It’s cool soggy nite here, I think it’s gonna impact the kiddies’ activities…! 8-(
She is going to be a FREAKIN year old soon, Suz, and wassup with the way the time goes when there is a bay=bee in your world. Too crazy.
Awwwwww…
Call the cute cops. Oh, wait, you are the cute cops.
i really am out in the boonies…
That’s what I thought…! ;-)
7 months on november 9th — i can’t forking believe she’s that old already! ohmystars babies are forking time machines with warp drive
what’s your grandson’s costume tut? jujube was a pumpkin
wassup with the way the time goes when there is a bay=bee in your world.
Especially on the second go-around…! ;-)
It is quite jarring when alla sudden up pops a post by TRex or Egregious. I would have been at that place all night if I had to tell them every time it happened. But I will try to let them know.
Some 15 years ago the snow brought down wires and trees. It was really tough. Good luck all! Hey CT, I loved her costumes and all the Halloween stuff. We ALL loved it.
crap.. forgot the link to the slideshow
GREAT!!
But they’re very nice boonies. Scenic and that. And the cheese fact’ry and the hip hippie coffee place aren’t that far.
its in the right hand sidebar over at myfdl – below the toolbox
Too young and too cool for the momma to take him out tonite, I’m not sure she even considered it either…!
And also plus when the big people are old like us. I mean to say. I went to a funeral this AM and saw kids so big, they were babies, and now they are big. The parents, I remember when they were 4 years old, it does kind of make me feel ancient.
brewing in the wind changed locations and are about half a block before their old location and no longer have that great view of the ocean :( their clam chowder, however, is just as good!
*heh* I never said they weren’t scenic boonies…! ;-)
OMG, how cute is yer li’l punkin’-jubejube? What great photos. What a little doll.
jujube stayed inside and supervised her mom handing out treats while simultaneously trying to calm down the dogs (they freaked out every time someone came to the door)
Ohhhh, no scenic-ness?! How sad.
Did the parking get any better? Did the inside get any more spacious?
Hell…
I’m working my way through “The Rogue” by Joe McGinniss from my local li-berry. A good read, but unholy crouch, what a passel o’ pieces o’ work in that fambly. Just. Yikes.
Hi guys. I need hugs.
A great travesty occurred today.
I got my first ever AARP solicitation (the bastards could have waited 20 or 30 years).
Any mention about Caribou Barbie’s failure to even last a semester here in Hilo…?
Well, ‘night, pups. Thanks for the comp’ny!
Condolences …. and hugs!
Aloha, tuez…! That means you’ll soon be bombarded with ever more junk mail…! ;-)
Sweet dreams, FunnyD…!
Oh, yeah, but that was, like a hunnerd pages back. She’s about to move into the governor’s mansion by now.
I gotta say, from where I sit…”electability” is vastly overrated!
evening, CT — firegods
Ghostbusters…
My husband thought it was funny, since I’ve been kidding him about the junk he gets from AARP for the past 9 years.
Aloha, PPD…! How was your nite…?
Happy Halloween.!
The really scary part is trying to shut that scam off. I’ve been working on it since AARP actively sold out the 99%.
Much sympathy on your AARP arrival.
As for Halloween. I had the big idea to dress the dog up as a chia pet, until I went to Home Depot a week ago to buy a piece of sod to dress her in, and realized it was a little too heavy and I didn’t want all that sand in her fur.
So she went as a Pekingese disguised as a Keeshond for our evening walk. No one bought it.
Aloha, openhope…! How’s the Sound tonite…?
they moved into the first floor of ‘the anchor’ that 3 story monstrosity that was so controversial when the 3rd floor was added.
a lotta the charm is not there but they reassured me they were still moving stuff back in from the move. it is a lot more spacious but i don’t like that the coffee bar is in a separate room from the dining room. as soon as ya walk in ya have to decide to go left (dining room) or right (coffee bar). the coffee bar has some of the kitsch but the dining room was pretty sterile looking.
Hey, CTuttle, all the little ghouls have to have a party at the Community Hall due to long driveways.
Not sure what the big ghouls are up to this year. Tomorrow will tell.
The ‘original’ Spooky…
Don’t feel bad I tested AARP positive several years ago and can’t seem to shake it.
*heh* Nice one…! Aloha, bb…! ;-)
I’ve had that song stuck in my head for months! I really like it.
I’m singing it in my garden this summer. It’s a climate change thing…..
” Love is kinda crazy with a spooky little garden like you.”
I probably need to get out more. :)
King Harvest…
I probably need to get out more. :)
But, all that gardening is outside…! ;-)
Dropped chocolate-covered brussel sprouts in all those costumed kiddos’ trick or treat bags…
That’s funny.
I guess I am old. I used to think a donation was voluntary. However, as I’m sitting here paying our car registrations for the year, I see it’s called a “donation”.
By the way …It is very nice to have the numbered comment with edit back. Thank you MOD Wizard
*heh* I wouldn’t put it past ya, robert…! ;-)
Aloha, how’s So. Pa. tonite…?
Just dropped by Occupy Erie via LiveStream. It’s a small outpost of #OWS, and right now they are under a gazebo being pelted by the icy wind blasting off of Lake Erie. These folks are strong, determined, but poor. They have much need of help:
Coffee, sleeping bags, wool socks, tarps, heaters, tables, printer, milk crates, large totes to hold blankets and other goods out of rain and snow, hats, scarves, wool gloves, hand and foot warmers, snow shovels and salt, lots of water, chairs, cushions and snuggies!!
Some cash would be good, too.
Did you catch Cynthia’s great Legal post this afternoon. We are having our third Legal working group meeting tomorrow at my house. we have three members and National Lawyers Guild LA, ACLU LA and a.einstein.org who helped Arab Spring have advised us. We have an ambitious agenda to report to GA tomorrow. Good luck on your org things are moving very fast!
That was a fantastic post she wrote, I love the fact they’re looking at filing state and federal cases…! Awesome job, yourselves in LA…! I’m working with about 25 individuals who are willing and able to actually Occupy here in Hilo, but, we’re still unable to get it together enough to sustain it…! We’re a small population center…! 8-(
That is really inspiring robert…! God speed to those hearty souls in Erie…! *g*
Moondance…
Tell Dave Goztola to God-speed up there and drop off what they need….
lol !
Drop him a note on one of the Dissenter threads…!
No Halloween is complete without The Time Warp…!
Okay. I just did….
Thank you for mentioning this post. Just went and read it. Occupy is consistently bringing tears to my eyes. One way or the other.
Btw, this is really spooky…
Secret Pakistan : Double Cross (part 1/6)
It’s an in depth, two part, BBC report, with Part 2 about to air tonite across the Pond…! 8-(
Well, I shall bid ya’ll a fond adieu for this All Hallows’ Eve…! Mahalo for the great conversations..! Aloha Oe…! *g*
