Mornin’, BT, pups

I can remember when the NRA was all about the weapons used in killing defenseless animals.

Now it’s an automatic weapon in every home, like a chicken in every pot.

LaPierre has been batshit crazy for a while.

For all you kids who lived under the “duck & cover” reign of terror, look what the kids are going through today.

Operation Mountain Guardian conducted in Denver last week. The feds are preparing for another false flag, er I mean terrorist attack.

“How will the Roberts court rule on ACA?”

Nobody should forget that the ACA is a conservative concoction. Not only will the US Supreme Court will rule in favor of the ACA, I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Roberts ruled in favor, and/or if it were passed with an even greater margin than 5-4.

The USSC ruled in favor of corporations in Kelo v. City of New London and Citizens United v. FEC. Why wouldn’t they rule in favor of virtually all Americans being captive consumers to the health insurance industry now? The more conservative politicians can exploit the public’s dislike of the individual mandate say the ruling happened because the USSC is “too liberal” and that all our branches of government need to go even further to the right! Unfortunately, I think too many Americans would buy into that fat lie.

Good morning all

I think Christy is like Perry they both are bad for their states. When Christy starts his talk about cutting the government he will be dismissed just as Perry has been. I think Romney will win the nomination and the Democrats will lose big in the 2012 election. This is of course speculation but my 2 cents.

So true, so true that’s why I think when we rest our hopes on the electoral process we are going to be disappointed. Disobedient protests are the only thing that will change the situation. My health prohibits me from events like Occupy Wall Street but I wish I was there.
Chris Hedges in his book “The World as it is” paints a gloomy picture for the future if people do not start an uprising. Let’s hope the youth continue their passion. Sorry about the rant.

1) Shutdown delayed. let’s call a duck a duck.

2) TheMOTU’s have adjusted. We need to take the protests to their residences.

3) Christie?!? The GOP money men must really hate Mitt and must really think Perry screwed the pooch.

4) I’m gonna guess 7-2 upheld, with Scalia and Thomas in the minority. And Thomas writing an almost incomprehensable dissent.

5) The automatic weapons ban did little good, just inflamed the far right. Let the citizens have all the guns they want, but lock ‘em up hard when they abuse that right.

I really wish we could put some sense into gun laws. Stop with this different rules in different areas. Stop with the waiting periods. Register and test shoot every gun, so the law knows where to go when a gun is misused.

The rules the left puts or tries to put on gun ownership seem awfully similar to the rules the right wants to put on abortion. Waiting periods. “Education”. Massive regulation of providors. The point of both is the same: Ban something that is not only legal, but constitutionally protected.

Yes, I hate to say it but what the Republican field is missing in a viscerally mean candidate like Christie. (The self-effacement with the fatty jokes = pent up rage?)

Rage is the red meat that is missing for some of the electorate.

Then, Christie can serve it to the right and Obama will know how to meet him on the left with his “you’re a racist if you don’t agree with me” schtick. Ugly & dangerous politics for ugly & dangerous times.

This country was being pushed by the oligarchy to go fascist in the 1930s as Gen. Smedley Butler exposed, but there was an FDR to prevent it.

But how much training does it take to say “Here’s how to make sure your gun is unloaded” or “be careful where you point it” or “This is the safety”. We don’t require drivers to be experts, just know the laws and basically how the car operates.

It’s a great clip. I’ve been a big Carlin fan for years. I remember hearing him somewhere indicate (if memory serves) that Lenny Bruce was a huge influence on him. He basically wanted to be the kind of comedian Bruce was, a brave one.

Bill Hicks was great also, if you haven’t seen him. He said some things that were very dangerous. Letterman later had his mom on after expressing some embarrassment at the fact that he had canceled Hicks who was dying and who had really looked forward to doing his routine on the show.

I figured this was coming with Obomber sinking in the polls.
The MOTU need someone to implement their policies without a lot of trouble from the sweaty masses.

And Obomber has delivered better than they probably expected.
That’s why they’re running batshit crazy Republicans. If Perry ever
got elected and implemented the shit Obomber’s on track to do, people would be out in the streets in short order. Romney’s not gonna win cause he’s a Mormon and has a record of major flip flops. The religious right has a lot of trouble with Mormon’s. Hey, I don’t get it, but there it is.

That’s why the sudden call for Christie. He’s a more “reasonable” freak in the MSM filled minds of the American people.
Christie stands a much better chance of keeping the people sedated if Obama loses, and that’s what they want. We gotta sit down and shut up.

But, they really want Obama. Here’s an African American Democrat poised to trash the New Deal, and “progressives” are defending him. Didja eva?

There’s never been more drilling and blasting for energy in the US, never more in corporate profits, and an endless supply of cash for Wall St.
Despite all the kabuki, they love him.

Since Obama’s been in office the Koch’s net worth went from 30 billion to 50 billion. That’s all you gotta know to see through this sham.

Ooo-k, it begins to clarify. Depending on how Christie’s BIG SPEECH later today on our most treasured A-number one myth, “American Exceptionalism”, is received, may determine if he jumps or not.

I havn’t heard Christie speak much but he is a popular guy who could win NJ and who knows what else in the NE. I think the thugs base will hang with him, even though they may not like him much, since they will see him as less objectionable than that Black man heathen from Kenya. So, he could do it.

I don’t think the current crop of thugs are smart enough frankly, but maybe they are just dumbing down to please the base.
