hey marymac — how’s sac tonight? i was trying to remember who here was in the impeach on the beach — went totally blank on who… my sometimers must be acting up again
Just for laughs: my twin grand-boys got kicked out of “Hip Hop Dancing for 3 to 5 Year Olds” at the Y where they go to pre-school…..appparently they did just a bit of dancing and a bit more of crying. Their mom is going to send them to hip-hop boot camp so they can come back and kick some boo-tay. At least I won’t have 3 year old grands with pants hanging off their arses….for now.
had a few raindrops this afternoon but that was it. overcast, cold, damp feeling — more like late fall than not quite fall…supposed to get real rain sunday
Ralph Nader appeared Thursday on Fox News to discuss a democratic primary he was organizing against President Barack Obama to “hold his feet to the fire.”
if rrfb are playing within 150 miles of ya, it is totally worth it to see them live. they forking rock. hard. and put on a real entertaining show too.. so much talent in that family
I should post a pic of what my husband has growing off his chin. Still haven’t figured out what it is. One day after too many beers, he got into the red food coloring though.
Yeah but it’s a good idea. I mean our wireless router seems to have died. I can get my husband to tie his eyebrows to that thing on his chin and voila…
that entire show was a hoot — it was one of the first shows way back long ago when i first got hbo. totally made paying the extra on the cable bill worth it. lots of it is on utube
Well, I was triple dipping most of the time….just like at soccer. Six soccer games a weekend….everyone got two games observed by one parent each and a game on their own. I was a kids’ soccer nut (but not a soccer mom….I just liked the game and enjoyed seeing my kids enjoy the activity. Their dad was equally enthusiastic.) Coached a lot of softball. Watched a ton of sports. Enjoyed it all.
And enjoyed the rest when my last went off to college.
Now I’m getting a kick out of watching funny little identical twin boys in the grandbaby squad.
That’s why I like Costco. I can pay $80 and get 7 things and park the truck in the back 40 because I hate parking, or put the Honda in the back 40 because I’m afraid it might need a tow.
its like being in earthquake country dearie – there are risks everywhere… some folks wont like the idea, most others will take it to mean how close they will be to the coast
You;ll be lucky if it’s only a decade. My breeders took their sweet time. I bit my tongue, and I also gave up my dream of taking my grandkids to Europe when I was still young enough to do that on my own. Luckily I got to go to Italy with a group of family & friends for the baby boys’ baptism in an ancient church in Italy. Great time. Still trying to push their dad to work on getting citizenship through his grandparents.
I know….been through earthquakes in California since I was a kid. But there was something about being labeled and warned about …. I didn’t know whether to laugh or get really annoyed. If you live in California you don’t need “earthquake zone” on a sign at the end of your street.
driving 101 up the oregon coast, ya weave in and out of the tsunami zones… oregon is very heavily signed and has lotsa evacuation route signs. doesn’t seem to be a negative impact for folks who want to buy on the coast
the devil’s in the details…
pun! how ya been dood?
i wanted to use this video of ray wylie doing this song live but the audio isn’t as good as in the one i featured…. i love the words to this song
thanks to that guy for the video and email reminder about ray wylie
Lardy, I am happy cause I ain’t going to hell. I was one of those peeps on Impeach on the Beach. Ha!
hey marymac — how’s sac tonight? i was trying to remember who here was in the impeach on the beach — went totally blank on who… my sometimers must be acting up again
Geez Suz, did ya have to take the forkin’ site down to put up LLN?
I had gremlins.
hey tuez — what kinda gremlins didja have? i didn’t take anything down…. how was your day?
those gremlins……little devils!
Jeez Suz, that poster-frame scared the crap outa me!
Mon Ami…! Is punaisette safely ensconced in McGill…? ;-)
Aloha, Suz and lln pups…!
It’s possible one of my no-see-em, gray chin hairs got sucked into the ‘puter fan.
For some reason I had to clean my cache in order to get back here.
evening, Suzzzz
hey Suz! just layin’ low, you know…
hey dearie — never feed a gremlin after midnight how ya doing tonight?
hey newton — how ya doing tonight?
aloha tut — how’s paradise tonight?
she is indeed: well settled in and diving into college life with vigor.
i hate it when that forking happens
how’s the empty nest?

Well, thank you.
Fall has arrived – not so much irrevocably as just a harbinger of…
Windy and cool, but not at all uncomfortable.
How’s the northern portion?
Cool.
Ain’t it wonderful, though?! It was tolerable here in Sac today by degrees.
had a few raindrops this afternoon but that was it. overcast, cold, damp feeling — more like late fall than not quite fall…supposed to get real rain sunday
What, when an unnoticed 2 foot long chin hair gets sucked into the fan or you have to clean your cache?

Keeping with the long standing tradition of our annual County Fair, it poured buckets all day and into the evening, so far…! ;-)
its those darn loose ear hairs ya gotta watch out for… the places they end up…
hey robert — how’s soPA tonight?
That’s a hard core Y. Geez.
still adjusting, but strangely liberating. first time in 17 years we haven’t been to a back-to-school night.
somehow the day jobs still keep us from dropping everything to tour the world, etc. that, and the prospect of several more years of college expenses!
Oh shit, I hadn’t thought to check my ears.
i found it liberating too — i know some peeps who can’t stand the emptiness but got used to the peace and quiet quite quickly.
44 degrees here.
Did I ever mention I wax my long, thick nose hairs into a mustachio?
high fog hovered over monterey bay most of the day, sunny in the afternoon
I went to 39 back-to-school events…..believe me, when the last kid goes to college, it’s okay to just enjoy!
Lardy!
can you tie ‘em in a knot?
can you tie ‘em in a bow?
hey ppd — how ya doing tonight?
that option doesn’t work well for us double x types — appears to only be socially acceptable for the xys
I should post a pic of what my husband has growing off his chin. Still haven’t figured out what it is. One day after too many beers, he got into the red food coloring though.
Actually, yes. I can tie ‘em to my ear hair and boost my wireless connection….
great covers too
grooving granny
Hahahahahaha
the march
Ssshhh…! Don’t be going and encouraging him now…! ;-)
for the men
Hey, bud. So good to see you!
My eyelashes are like Bambi’s.
hey loohoo — how’s socal tonight?
likewise!
Yeah but it’s a good idea. I mean our wireless router seems to have died. I can get my husband to tie his eyebrows to that thing on his chin and voila…
Oh. god. Best outcome. Trust.
aint nothing wrong with that

who could have anticipated…
Glad I pawned my fillings yesterday….
dentist
Between the empty beer cans and spare hairs, we can become our own ISP.
On edit: Can you come up with a use for the cat?
cats
Laughing so hard, tears in my eyes. Dayam that was good….
Only dead ones. I have a copy of 1000 Uses for a Dead Cat somewhere….
classic
perfect

Doorstop’s #1
I think I heard it was getting into the low 40s here tonight. It’s cover-your-tomato-plants time. Hi Newton!
hey margot — how ya doing tonight? central oregon is under a freeze warning — supposed to get down to 26 in some spots tonight
I still have his 220 RPM vinyl record from way back in the day….
Gotta get that out. Haven’t played it in years….
Hellooooooo, Margot!
OMG. Bill Cosby and the dentist… I’m cryin’.
schrodinger’s cat strikes back
chocolate cake
doing pretty well, thanks Suzzz – how’s everything up north tonight?
I need 1000 uses for an alive cat. She refuses to run away and I’ve spent 5 years trying to give her away.
looking forward to sunday’s rain — supposed to get 1/2″ and we sure could use it
jeffrey
Brrr. You got your Uggs ready?
not yet — sure am glad i’m on the coast and not in central oregon — they get forking cold in the winter and forking hot in the summer
Temps under 90. Say it’s true.
And bring it here. Please.
woohoo!!! my mom said they finally went below triple digits in phoenix.
grandparents
we did 26, however all but four years was double-dipping.
Love that song…and this one: The Wonderful Soup Stone
This is pretty funny:
“It’s Gettin’ Real in the Whole Foods Parking Lot”
The good thing about Floreeda. We never hit triple digits.
We do, however, get stuck on 95 and no one thinks to reboot.

everytime i hear this song, i think of you
I saw that a few months ago.
That’s why I like Costco. I can pay $80 and get 7 things and park the truck in the back 40 because I hate parking, or put the Honda in the back 40 because I’m afraid it might need a tow.
And Girl Scouts…..years of Girl Scouts. Loved it.
I just experienced Whole Foods, in Albuquerque. I had this perverse desire to ask where the braunschweiger and the macaroni salad was.
Hurricane warning issued for parts of Newfoundland as Hurricane Maria approaches – NWS
how often does newfoundland forking canada have forking hurricanes?
Brave new world, Suz, brave new world.
ummmm… thanks? :~)
Katia just took out N. Ireland.
No, there ain’t no global warming.
and there are still forking idiots who say there is no such thing as global climate change *shaking head*
Wonder what Newfoundland did to piss God off that much?
i totally missed that… day-yam
I laughed (kinda) when I saw that the city had put up a new sign at the end of my street: Tsunami Zone. Crap, now I’ll never be able to sell my house.
the soccer par sounds quite familiar. hopefully a decade goes by before grandparenting kicks in…
Does getting the 100 wipe out the detriment of being labeled a victim of tsunami zone designation?
congrats on snagging the happy lucky 100 dearie!!!
Nope. Getting 100 means you got to adopt Tuezday’s cat….
its like being in earthquake country dearie – there are risks everywhere… some folks wont like the idea, most others will take it to mean how close they will be to the coast

Didn’t know that. It will get very interesting, I think, in the next few years as the ice melts more and more.
yup — projections have this place under water if sea levels rise as high as predicted…
Thanks, Suzanne, for another delightful evening salon. Sleep warm!
g’nite dearie
tis about time for me to turn back into a pumpkin peeps. thanks for letting me hang out with ya and hope to see ya tomorrow night for muppets friday.
g’nite all
bonne nuit, mesdames.
Good night Suz. Of course, it’s morning here in Montepulciano. Just finished a coffee, looking out over the Val d’Orcia towards Cortona.
