I think scholarships are a great idea. Not everyone has spare buckage in this screwed up economy, but I’ll bet there are many who would love the opportunity to contribute sweat equity.

And judging from the incredible array of knowledge I find in these comment threads, there is a terrific skill base to draw from

There are a wide array of skills. We have already started up a membership engagement team to call and thank members, consisting of all volunteers. We are working on getting people together who are great with graphics. I am sure many of you are.
