Conservatives are starting to talk like the conclusion of every ‘Scooby Doo’ episode and saying they’d get away with it if it wasn’t for those meddling liberals.

Sunday Late Night: Did Roger Ailes Wiretap in the US? |
| By: Teddy Partridge Sunday July 17, 2011 8:01 pm |
Now that the head of Rupert Murdoch’s British tabloid and the head of his American business daily flagship have both resigned, with the titian-haired one under arrest in Britain, is it time to look at the man GHWBush calls “our man Ailes” and his techniques that FOX News Channel may have used to make the news?
Obama’s Last Lecture |
| By: David Dayen Sunday July 17, 2011 7:12 pm |
One of the more constant critiques of this Presidency is that Barack Obama has failed to teach a generation of willing listeners a story about his beliefs and his values, something that will outlast his term in office and provide a blueprint for the future. This isn’t true. He’s teaching a fundamental lesson. It just may not be one that progressives value.

200 Out US Servicemembers March in San Diego Pride Parade |
| By: Teddy Partridge Sunday July 17, 2011 4:00 pm |
Making history, 200 LGBT servicemembers — reserve, active duty, and veterans alike — marched openly in the San Diego Pride Parade yesterday. This marks the first time in America a contingent of serving military members participated openly in a gay pride event.
As you can see in the video, the Honoring Servicemembers contingent of 200 military men and women from all branches of the US military received almost universal approval and recognition from the crowd of San Diegans out on yet another lovely parade day (one does wonder why San Diego doesn’t simply have parades every single day, looking at that weather).
