What’s on my mind? Thank GOD this Derek Jeter nonsense is over with. This guy has such a sterling reputation with the media. Mr. baseball. We go to Yankees games during spring training. Jeter never once acknowledges that fans even exist. Ever. And up close, he’s a very ugly man. He is a shell of what he used to be. Washed up. Not shit-I wish he would retire tomorow. He went on the DL, they had their longest winning streak of the year. He came off DL, they lose 4 in a row. I still read the NY papers. It’s a ‘what have you done for me lately” place. Judging from fans’ comments, they think not so much. I’m just sick of the guy.

It seems that the Dad-to-be is being offered a job in Virginia…! Now, I’m extremely dubious in that particular turn of affairs, and, had reassured her that it’s not bloody likely to occur…!

the lady at doggie daycare is able to grow stock and she’s not that far from me. i’m going to look for some next time i go to fred meyer to put in a few pots on the deck — i love the smell of stock on warm summer nights

i hear ya about chores — i’ve borrowed the downstairs vacuum while they are on vacation and have been tackling one room at a time, sucking up all the cobwebs from all the corners etc. been doing my spring cleaning now that winter has finally left

The garden is doing spectacularly. Not as much sun as we’d like, but efforts to build up soil with organic compost have proven themselves. Last night – fresh zucchini and beets. Soon – Stupice tomatoes. They’re ripening.

i’ve not read grafton in years… sizzlin 16 was ok… it had its moments but no ‘moments’ like some of her others. still had both ranger and morelli and all 3 (lulu, connie, and stephanie) teamed up again — sorta like when they went to atlantic city. twas a good summer read but not her zippy best.
