Who won the Freak Show?

listening to cbs radio in new york, talk about obvious anti democrat reporting;

first they went from candidate to candidate listening to them beat up obama

as rebuttal for the republicans claims?;

“the president had his say at a town hall meeting a month ago”

really, that was the ballance they provided

they are all fox now

G’Morning, Again
It’s one thing for Tiny B to do well in an Ed Rollins produced performance, including her big announcement that got the crowd all excited, but I’m wondering how well she’ll do on the campaign trail. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

My most memorable photo of Governor Perry is one of him waving a pistol with the Texas capitol building in the background. Appealing to the fundies won’t help him in the general election.

At the end of the day, the saddest part of this for me is that there is no strong or acceptable challenge to whomever the R’s pick. :(

I didn’t listen to the debate, but I am listening to democracynow’s coverage of it. The candidates are not as crazy loony on national TV as they are in smaller groups. And they have their attacks on O in order.

You’d have to think that history began yesterday to vote for one of them, but that’s what most voters think, so it’s possible that a R could win, just on anti-O alone. He has done a piss-poor job.

I watched it for two reasons. First, sometimes I like to get my own impressions of a debate because in the past, the post event comments make me wonder if I was watching something else. And, secondly, I was helping my son with a project that’s due today and it was way easier to be interrupted watching the debate than if I was reading a book.

I’d have to give the win Bachmann. She didn’t come across as batshit crazy and her attempt to peel off the Palinistas might well have succeeded a bit.

More drones in Yemen. Under CIA control. That should solve that pesky AQ problem in no time. Just because it hasn’t worked anywhere else is no reason to criticize it here. Am I the only one who thinks it would be cheaper to just load up a couple of planes with cash and bribe ‘em?

Perry says it’s God’s fault the economy sucks, God is such PRICK!

Actually, what I’ve read is fairly in line with what my impressions were. The times when my impressions were different from the round ups were in debates between an R and a D candidate, like Bush V. Kerry, come to think of it.

I was wondering how long it would take Barry to come up with the excuse that unemployment is “structural.” Which he did yesterday with Anne Curry. Another way to blame the victim.

It was! Except for the mosquitoes. No politics. I don’t really know their political leanings, but probably I am to the far left of them, since I’m to the far left of almost everyone I know. But they’re nice people, not fundies or reichwingers, I’m sure of that.

Meanwhile, the Republicans have as many clowns in the lineup as a circus, and we’re supposed to elect one of them?

Here’s hoping that Texans wake the h3ll up and boot the 700 Club Televanglist (YouTube.Com, Sept. 13, 2001) warming the seat of the Texas governorship. Contrast what’s allowed to be projected about Texas versus what is being seen of Wisconsin (CrooksAndLiars.Com, embedded video of Feingold speech, June 13, 2011).

So here’s some food-for-thought to make Karl Rove cry: “Not voting for evil is simple, cheap and non-violent.” (CorrenteWire.Com, by lambert, June 12, 2011).

And, in the process of doing nothing, advance every stupid R meme about the economy. By the time this clown gets through, there will nothing left of Keynesian-informed fiscal policy — which is a necessary condition for all progressive policies.

Final segment on democracynow is on formaldehyde. CS First Boston rebuilt the inside of 11 Madison before moving the firm there. I had new building disease for months after the move. Mostly just headaches, but I usually don’t pick up environmental problems, having good genes in that regard, so I was pretty surprised at how much influence the inside air had on me.

Well you’re getting chemicals delivered directly to lung tissue (see “Drug Delivery to the Lung: Permeability and Physicochemical Characteristics of Drugs as the Basis for a Pulmonary Biopharmaceutical Classification System (pBCS), Journal of Epithelial Biology & Pharmacology, 2010, 3, 1-14) similar to the exposure to cinnamic aldehyde from synthetic perfumes.

Wow, that is a terrible piece on Perry…not that he doesn’t deserve it. While he is tearing down the TX school system….just let ‘em all go to private schools, I guess. But the kicker is the $6,000 + house he and his family have at state expense…couldn’t find a smaller place, I guess. What a hick.
