If there is no privacy who will want to communicate honestly with their doctors or with mental health when they are really in need of medical help? Who will want to go to the Police if there are criminal problems in their neighborhoods? This kind of lawless destruction of privacy will create more problems for everyday Americans.

Cowards, indeed.

Do Pelosi, Wasserman Schultz, and Israel really think the American people need them or want them to waste time and energy wringing their hands over such nonsense?

While I’m not a fan of Weiner and think he never should have bent over for Breitbart (this latter act being the basis for the best argument I can make for why he should go), pushing Weiner out over this only feeds Republican spin and gives their base great satisfaction.

Democrats already appear weak enough.

President Pretzel:

Jobs won’t come back until confidence improves.
Confidence won’t improve unless debt goes down and spending goes up.
But, for debt to go down and spending to up, consumers must have jobs.
But government must cut spending to improve confidence.
And cutting spending reduces demand and lowers confidence.

So confidence can’t go up — before confidence goes up.

Massive fail — or betrayal, take your pick.

Sorry, Chuck Todd, the fact that David Gregory’s first ten questions to the party chairs on MTP yesterday were questions about Anthony Weiner says a lot more about Gregory and the state of the “news” than it does about either party.

Listened to most of Barasso’s pushing for his home state industry on MoJo. And some about Medicare. Just how many in Congress are doctors, anyway? Question not asked by Brokaw: what about negotiating drug prices…
