This is a track off of The Cars recently released album “Move Like This”
What’s on your mind tonite…?
*tap* *tap* Is this thing turned on…? ;-)
Yup its on. Well they still sound like the cars.
I was just sittin here tryin’ to learn the lyric to “When the man comes around” and “God’ll cut you down”. Black mood tonight.
Hi CT. Took a late nap and now I’m going to be up for hours. Rats. *g*
Aloha, Robert…! That was my initial reaction too…!
Aloha, demi…! That’s not good…! ;-)
Yeah, when I heard the bass line and the hand double claps I was thinkin’ hey, I thought he said “new” album.
Here’s another track from it… Blue Tip…
I don’t have to be anywhere or do anything tomorrow, so it doesn’t really matter.
We went camping this weekend, so I missed FDL. I did read the Bill Moyers Book Salon on my husband’s blackberry. Teeny tiny letters, so my eyes were all blurry. Great Salon. Did I miss anything wonderful?
Did I miss anything stupid?
They definitely lack Benjamin Orr’s lead vocals…! May he R.I.P…!
I saw an article where Ric said they didn’t even attempt to replace him…!
Other than both Salons, it was pretty quiet…! Bev’s mother died if ya want to extend your condolences…
evening all.
I think Larue posted one of these late nights just a little bit ago featuring Pure Prtarie League and Firefall. Got me to go back and relearn all the pickin’ parts to “Amie”. I’m regressing to the 70′s.
Aloha, jayt…! Long time no see…! How’s Indy tonite…?
My eldest is named Amy after that tune…! ;-)
things are great.
Number One Son is here.
Good choice! I love that song.
The better half is a happy mother hen, since all her chicks are home too, Amy is back from Ohio visiting for a couple of weeks…! ;-)
Did he get the medical discharge yet…?
Did he get the medical discharge yet…?
He says it’s pretty close.
And he says hi to y’all
I did see Jane’s diary, but thanks for pointing it out. The death of a loved one is just something one has to endure. Especially since we have an older group here at the lake, it happens more often than not. I had a friend who was a therapist and she said that in cases of loss, it usually takes half the time that we knew the person to really start to get over it. In the case of a parent, we’ve know them all our lives, and so we never really totally stop missing them. The tears still come and that place in our heart that feels empty still hurts. Whatca gonna do? Keep on keeping on, I guess.
I wanted to name my daughter Amy after that song, but that idea was vetoed. We settled for Katie.
*heh* Give him a hearty “Hoo-ah”…! ;-)
Prosecute the torturers and illegal wire tappers, end the wars, free Bradley Manning, and restore the Eisenhower tax code. Any party with this platform gets my vote.
Amie…
Aloha, bluewombat…! They’d get my vote too…! ;-)
Hey folks. I’m in beautiful Omaha.
Thanks, CT. Those harmonies just make me smile. And, oh what a time that was. No worries. Just fun.
I think I’ll take the feel good and smile to bed with a book and wait for peace and sleep to happen.
Huggin’ ya, friend.
Aloha, spocko…! Cornhusker country, eh…?
Sweet dreams, demi…!
You too, when you get there.
The Billboard awards are finally playing here in the Isles, and, man there’s not much I’m liking of today’s music…! 8-(
Just visited Jane’s diary and left a quote.
Sounds like the camping was a nice break.
This is a drive-by, quite a few hours of work around the house Sunday, some things I let go thinking they weren’t priorities for completion before the rapture. Fell asleep in the lounger and now I’m off to bed, I do have some work today. Hope everyone is well.
Bidding you all a good morning.
Aloha and aloha, nq…! ;-)
I do like me some Lady Antebellum…
You are correct sir. My two wonderful sisters and I are taking care of my mom.
It’s nice weather here I usually only see it with snow on the ground.
Omaha is a very prosperous city. I don’t get s sense there will be any riots P
Doesn’t Warren Buffett call Omaha home…? Bless ya’ll for taking care of your mom…! *g*
Yea he does. Love his attitudes on taxes. And if a rich person says something people listen.
Nite.
Pleasant dreams, spocko…!
I’ll bid ya’ll a fond adieu too…!
Aloha Oe…! *g*
