I really wanted to give the guy the benefit of the doubt because he obviously had some knowledge of the situation, but his responses and word choices were really off. I wonder if it is asbergers or something.

I humbly disagree with yer assessment of messer schneib. The only thing substantial he seems to me to bring to the topic is attitude. You may be right, there may be a meds issue or something like asperger’s or an ocd, etc. that’s one reason I didn’t engage him. His point that his argument revolves around with the ‘stream-driven vents or valves’ is within the reactor or primary system – per the Union of Concerned Scientists site that he cites – not the containment structure as he seems to maintain. Hence the cause for the early explosions in all 4 units due to hydrogen build up as he does accurately point out. But we knew that here months ago. By misplacing the ‘venting’ in the containment structure rather than in the primary or reactor system, his ignorance becomes apparent, as far as I can tell. Looks like he’s gone away now tho.
fwiw, as a rule, I try to observe first, ask questions second and then offer an opinion if I know it’s probably welcome. I think you’re the same spocko. If I didn’t know before, I can tell by the way you responded to me above. This guy started off with snark and then started shooting and flaming individuals and then the whole site. Not my place to flag him or engage him, I feel. Think he’ll go sleep it off.
