Morning, BT.
Good morning everyone.
Good monring.
Thanks for the post, BT.
Where are the pups this morning?
Good Morning, All
Oh, that Pakistan is so scary. Protests and media outrage? I’m just shivering. Can we stop giving them money and helicopters now?
Hiding under their beds?
Raid burnout?
G’Morning….Risking one eye….I can’t stand much more Osama….what saturation.
Good Morning, RB
Ain’t dat da truff?
#3
There’s a summary of Barton in a quote from Derek Davis of Baylor University in Waco, TX, paragraph #11. Baylor is not known as a bastion of libertinism.
I’d bet your state constitution contains the word “God,” even though the US Constitution does not.
Isn’t it funny that in Replicanland, “common ground” means whatever they are demanding if the Democrats at the time?
Good morning.
I’ve been good and I haven’t said anything but at this point I’ll risk a Hear! Hear!
Fer Sure…and the TX historian piece is quite a piece of work…TX does extremist nuts so well. Colorful.
Agreed. I want the royal wedding back.
Boxturtle (Or maybe some poptart can release another sex tape. ANYTHING!)
Mornin’, BT, pups
Soooooooo, the Regressives want a bible-thumping historian to provide them with a history they’re comfortable with.
Lemme see now, that would have St Ronnie of RayGuns riding a dinosaur with Eve on his lap until he spotted Nancy. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
Morons.
This am I did hear a tatoo story…some fellow wanted tatoo of wedding date; he got it….Only trouble he got the wrong date…So, he got his money back…A chuckle first thing in the day.
Did you see twolf’s photoshopped pix of the Situation Room?
My favorite coverage of the raid so far.
People like that worry me tremendously. He’s basically got his facts correct, but the conclusions aren’t supported. So he can hide behind his facts.
Boxturtle (Then call poeple who disagree with him unchristian idiots)
I don’t know that Beatrice would like all those folks wearin’ her hat.
Good morning all.
Well at least Digby has finally admitted that Congressional Democrats are weak.
Hats off to twolf, though.
Another decade and she’ll be where we are.
How are your doing today? Hope you’re hanging in.
Yep.
No worries. After this week’s festivities, the story is going to slide right off the front page. Correction: It’s going to be pushed right off the front page by that whole “US Economy In the Tank” story.
Morning BT & Pups of Fire.
Tattoos are like demons: The people who make the real money are the ones who can make them go away.
Boxturtle (Wish I could remember who to credit that quote)
What Aaron Copland said about the initial reaction to his music can be applied here:
“Give them time. They’ll come around…”
That quote should get out more often..IMHO
I guess I didn’t but I’ve been trying to avoid ObL coverage for a couple of days now.
Here’s the updated full-size version. I added screenshots of a MotherJones and Buzzfeed web pages to the laptop screens because they had posted it with incorrect, or no, attribution.
Mornin’ demi.
Looks like we might have a sunny day after rain yesterday.
Gonna get some eggs from my neighbors’ uncaged chickens today. Yeah!
Did you get “planted” before the heatwave?
Ah! Thanks.
I hope not. I won’t wish anybody into the position I’m in. :-/
Hat looks good on Hillary. *snort*
Bold Fashion Statements
Pretty much. There’s always more planting to do. I’m re-seeding my lawn.
Note from the job hunt front: I’m now going to be assisting the Volunteer Coordinator in Administration two days a week. So, two days in the warehouse and two days upstairs. It’s still a volunteer gig, but the gal who was doing it before left because she got a paying one. Ah, my master plan is moving forward.
Instead of re-seeding why not put in native plants. No watering and no mowing.
That’s great…From the admin, you’ll learn a lot about how things work..Good for you!!
Sounds good. Well wishes.
Hope it works out for ya. I signed up with a temp agency and told them I was willing to do whatever I was capable of and gave them my most extensive resume to date.
In other news… Fuhgeddaboudit
Already on my list…
Hysterical! Thanks!! I thought we needed a pouting baby in that Sit Room shot.
Great news, demi!
This is a private community with rules and regs, which I hate and if we ever get to move, I’ll never do this again. However, it’s a very small lawn, so that’s good. I do have native stuff growing on the side yard. Lots of cactus and succulents along with the vegies.
Kinda scary.
She who has a plan has a future.
God I hate HOAs!
Thanks all. Down side will be having to dress for an office environment, but the upside is I’m pretty sure they have air conditioning. I imagine the warehouse is going to be very hot this summer.
Ah, so. Hate deed restricted communities. Sterile. Some moron planted cactus in the front and back yard here. The one in front is coming out this weekend. Gonna hafta hire somebody to get the 3 monsters in the back out.
At the time, the manufactured house was all we could afford. :(
Good luck to you at the agency. I bet they’ll really appreciate you.
Oh, I’m not finding fault with you! They are so ubiquitous here that one has to live far outside the city limits to avoid an HOA and that;s still not always possible.
And thanks.
Looks like the Republicans might be backing off destroying Medicare.

Oh, I didn’t think you were taking fault. But, if I knew then, what I know now….
Still, with the big loud B-3, it would be kind of hard to find an apartment that would work. Anywhoo, with the economy the way it is, I think we’re stuck here for a while.
Good luck in that pursuit…can lead to something more. Beautiful here in Central TX…cool, clear morning. Nice.
I read that at WaPo too but Cantor’s office is pushing back on that notion pretty hard.
I live in a “villa” (sometimes called patio homes) community with a homeowners’ association, and ours isn’t too onerous. You can do pretty much what you want, landscape-wise. A bit more restrictive about additions to the exterior, but not awful, and people have done quite a bit of interesting stuff.
And our association fee covers lawn care, snow removal, trimming, mulching, and exterior stain every 5 years. Not a bad deal.
I bought 5 flats of Impatiens yesterday, but it’s gonna be too cold to plant for a couple of weeks yet.
Thanks. And yes it is a gorgeous morning. Neko didn’t want to waste any of it indoors.
B-3?? Is that a bomber?
Off to swim in the great capitalist cesspool.
US KIA Afghanistan: 1,570
US KIA Irak: 4,452
Iraki, Afghan and Pakistani casualties: estimates vary to over 1.5M
US MBS 2011: 15,376 and counting

Never. Give. Up.
Smart…Angela is looking longingly out the window. Very relaxed, dontcha know….
We had a nearby HOA put up signs saying that a city park was restricted to residents of that community. They stayed up for a while, until I called the city and said wtf. Dunno if they faced any sanctions at all but the signs came down.
“Give us what we want, and we’ll have a deal.”
Obama: Why sure! Can I offer you anything more? Would you like any of our other stuff? How about I give you all of our stuff?
Shocklash
They’ll settle in the short term for deep budget cuts that trigger a double-dip recession. That’s their only hope to gain the WH at this point. And, if it works, they have a shot.
Hammond B-3 organ.
Very interesting.

Here’s a diagram, as of today. If you click on the date button below the diagram, you can change the date and diagram and see doom approaching.
Well I was sure it wasn’t a bomber, but couldn’t imagine what it was! Thanks for the pic!
I am off to get showered and head to my appt. with the ENT doc. See ya later!
I kind of ignore my front yard, for the most part. My side yard can be seen from the sliding glass door in the living room and I’ve got Carolina jasmine and grape vines growing all over the wrought iron fence and a bunch of different stuff growing on the slope. I picked up three one-gallon California Poppy plants on sale for one dollar a piece yesterday. I love a bargain.
Yeah, my living room is big, but not That Big.
Best of luck at the doctor’s office. Hope you can Hear, Hear soon.
Good luck….let us know!
Feel better!
You must have Java enabled.
If you play with the applet’s controls, in particular the greater than and less than arrows, you can produce some interesting effects.
My Mom got a new one as a gift from the President of Roebling Wire when she was recovering from surgery. Quite the machine, replaced a stand up pump organ that work the legs good. She could listen to a song once then play it, quite amazing.
Good news I hope. Good morning pups.
One and a half days of spring weather, here so far. A bit of work is keeping me indoors, though. Debating whether to attempt calling in to the WPR talk radio, topic this hour, “what is annoying to you?”
The gist of the current show is rude people, noises, etc., but I am annoyed that I couldn’t get through on the previous show to mention that anything the Heritage Foundation guest (Lisa Curtis) speaking about why we need to stay in Afganistan and Pakistan had to say, had mostly to do with her keeping her job (senior fellow Asian Studies) of schilling for the MIC by fomenting fear about those scary brown people over there.
You just need to make it clear that the scrambled document on Hillary’s keyboard is a pic of one of tbogg’s bassets.
See his thead on this subject for photos.
Or, the picture on Hillary’s keyboard could be of Victoria Beckham and her *hat* …
