Ohio’s warm and then chilly/rainy. Lots of rain. Yes the dog chases baby rabbits, they’re so fast, I have no worries she’ll ever catch one.

The cold north wind has finally blown all the rain and snow out. Now it’s just cold.

I harvested the first asparagus from the garden yesterday, since snow is easier to garden in than rain. Spring has a flavor, it tastes like asparagus.

Lots of volunteer parsley as well.

We tried a new position in yoga tonight. “So, am I doing this right?” sez I. “Yes” sez she. “But how can it be right, it doesn’t hurt?”. That’s usually how I can tell. The more pain, the better my form.

Seated, one leg straight, the other with foot on the ground near crotch. Reach with off hand to grasp foot of extended leg, then reach around the back with the other hand, then remove hand from foot and wrap arm around shin of bent leg to grasp other hand behind back, binding the pose. Then smile.

Pretty good… Busy moving my parents from Colorado Springs to Littleton. The movers come tomorrow, gonna knock out the final cleaning, and Closing is on Friday. Then the new carpet gets laid and we can haul all this junk outta my basement once again, and get my folks settled in their new place. In the meantime, my daughter called me in a panic to come get her and her seizing kitty for a run to the emergency vet (and pay the bill…) THE FUN NEVER STOPS!

Your talking about that organ thing. It was an invite to compete, not to exhibit for the AOG (American Organist Guild) so I bowed of that and the $75 entry fee months ago. January?

We did pass by Emmanuel Temple 2 Saturdays ago, that’s where it was during the “Doors Open – Denver” but there was nobody scheduled to play when we were there.

What I was going to play is my competition piece; Widor Toccata, Symph. #5

Too soon to tell. She got broke a bottle of lavender essential oil and got it all over herself while my daughter was out. I guess she tried to groom it off herself…. she’d stopped seizing when we left her overnite at the vet’s. Don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. She looked comatose. Don’t know if she’ll have a too badly damaged liver, or not. Anyway, anyone who tells you that it’s ok to use essential oils around your cat is giving bad advise!
