Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers — Psychotic Reaction.
What’s on your mind?
hey senator — how’s sac tonight?
Hey Suz. Sac was nice today. Not too hot, etc. How is the bay?
Suz, what a track!
Funny guy that Tom Petty.
cold — blast of arctic air coming in *brrrr*
hey newton — how ya doing? i figured any track that starts out with a psychedelic dragon has to be good — glad ya liked it.
hey mzchief — how’s your side of the coast range tonight?
Aloha, Suz and LLN pups…! It lookiing like I’ll be up top the mtn tomorrow nite…! I’ll get to see what a paycheck looks like…! ;-)
woohoo tut!!! that’s wonderful news dood — i guess paradise is pretty dayam nice tonight :)
Heh. When faced with a Psychotic Dragon, He Puckered Up And Blew.
evening, Suzzzz – firegods
hey kelly (laughing) how’s denver tonight?
hey ppd — how was your day?
the count five
pretty good, thanks — my brother came to spend time with our folks — a day off for me to get the rest of my work done.
Intermittent mixed snow/rain. That’s Greek for “April in Colorado.”
yay! hope you got a lot done ppd
hahaha…. when i arrived at jen’s sat and saw steph (she was in town for the weekend) one of the first things she said was it was snowing in greeley. portland hit 70′s sat and it was a gorgeous pnw day
So you live near Mt. Olympus up there, Kelly?
You back home or still at Jen’s, visiting Steph and jujube…?
back home and so is stephanie. jen’s dad and stepmom are coming up this week so i have a weekend at home coming up — i am sooo behind on doing my chores
No, Denver. Which is more like “Attica” if you asked the Olympians ;)~
all in all — it’s a busy week.
Hi Suz, everyone.
hey margot — how’s ohio tonight? is your dog still trying to chase rabbits?
Ohio’s warm and then chilly/rainy. Lots of rain. Yes the dog chases baby rabbits, they’re so fast, I have no worries she’ll ever catch one.
not a dragon but a shack
The cold north wind has finally blown all the rain and snow out. Now it’s just cold.
I harvested the first asparagus from the garden yesterday, since snow is easier to garden in than rain. Spring has a flavor, it tastes like asparagus.
Lots of volunteer parsley as well.
Hey y’all. I’m on painkillers – had oral surgery today. Vicoprofen. I don’t use anything with acetaminophen in it. That stuff is dangerous.
Anyway, I’m a little slow. Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr……..
so far been the 5th wettest april in pdx history. weather dood is saying there will be sunshine this weekend… after saying there will be rain until then
hey dave — how ya doing? regarding your mail problem, put some cat litter in the ziplock to help dry out and clump the yuck.
hey that guy — i’m not even going to ask how was your day nor how you are feeling — yikes — what did they have to do to ya?
That’s an idea. I think I have some cat litter, somewhere.
Did I mention that the reason the dog was sick was she ate a bunch of dog crap?
Here’s hoping it’s not raining tomorrow so I can leave the car windows open.
glad to be of help — i don’t think ya mentioned that little nugget.. oy. put the cat litter in your car seat too
hey robert — how was your day?
robert your pa song link isn’t fixable — sorry dood
We tried a new position in yoga tonight. “So, am I doing this right?” sez I. “Yes” sez she. “But how can it be right, it doesn’t hurt?”. That’s usually how I can tell. The more pain, the better my form.
Seated, one leg straight, the other with foot on the ground near crotch. Reach with off hand to grasp foot of extended leg, then reach around the back with the other hand, then remove hand from foot and wrap arm around shin of bent leg to grasp other hand behind back, binding the pose. Then smile.
i’d not heard this before…. thanks dood
Love how the kid takes a piss on Ohio….
tom covers van
tom covers george
Evening Suzanne! Howz things? Kelly, are you getting snow? It’s just dribbling a little bit here in Littleton.
kelly — did you enter that musical competition you were talking about maybe doing?
hey cfit — how ya been?
Suzzz — I’d like to see LLN do something special for Bill & Kate on Friday.
tom and steve
hmmmm i wonder if i can find a muppets wedding utube….
Pretty good… Busy moving my parents from Colorado Springs to Littleton. The movers come tomorrow, gonna knock out the final cleaning, and Closing is on Friday. Then the new carpet gets laid and we can haul all this junk outta my basement once again, and get my folks settled in their new place. In the meantime, my daughter called me in a panic to come get her and her seizing kitty for a run to the emergency vet (and pay the bill…) THE FUN NEVER STOPS!
ohmystars, that’s a full plate. the good news is the move is almost done…. how’s the kitty?
Yanked a tooth. It broke in half when I was eating pistacios. I may get an implant for this one eventually. Prices are starting to come down.
I like — We’re going to have a wedding — from Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride.
ouch — no wonder you are on the heavy duty stuff… i hope one day they come down to affordable prices
but friday is muppets and tim burton’s the corpse bride wasn’t on the muppets
Your talking about that organ thing. It was an invite to compete, not to exhibit for the AOG (American Organist Guild) so I bowed of that and the $75 entry fee months ago. January?
We did pass by Emmanuel Temple 2 Saturdays ago, that’s where it was during the “Doors Open – Denver” but there was nobody scheduled to play when we were there.
What I was going to play is my competition piece; Widor Toccata, Symph. #5
Too soon to tell. She got broke a bottle of lavender essential oil and got it all over herself while my daughter was out. I guess she tried to groom it off herself…. she’d stopped seizing when we left her overnite at the vet’s. Don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. She looked comatose. Don’t know if she’ll have a too badly damaged liver, or not. Anyway, anyone who tells you that it’s ok to use essential oils around your cat is giving bad advise!
ahhh i must of missed that — sorry dood.
oh my — please keep me posted on how she is doing. i’ll be sending positive healing thoughts her way and hopes for a speedy and inexpensive recovery
Maybe Thursday LLN for the happy couple, Suzzz?
You didn’t miss a thing.
What I haven’t blogged about is one of the other places we went that weekend. It’s just mind-bogglingly bad.
“Boutique Fear Mongering” I call it. Shame that it’s in my town.
is there music from it on utube?
They’re less in Mexico and Costa Rica. Might be fun to mix travel with dentistry. Then again, maybe not.
Check out the curious thing I saw about home prices in Detroit. Other than that, a 2nd day that big gusty wind came through.
Oh no, I hope she recovers. Essential oils can be pretty powerful.
ohmyfuckinggoodness kelly — judas fucking priest — the fucking university is a sponsor?
Thanks for that last! I fear that we’re already out of the “inexpensive” territory… Anyway, I just wanted to stop by since I was up and say hi. I’ve been to busy to do more than lurk at odd moments now and then. The place sure is noisy in the daytime! But it sure is nice to know the low-key folks are here at LLnite. I gotta get some zzz’s. Best to you all. Hugs.
I see Ghoul-iani is involved. *blergh* Shame on the University of Denver for hosting that.
starting blowing here sun nite – was glad i was home before it hit — the high wind warning finally is gone. lotsa wind here too
And The Denver Post.
And there’s that whole Righthaven thing that the Post is involved in that’s probably going to kill Pam Spaulding’s blog. Losing my job the next Monday kinda convinced me not to blog about the CELL with my inside pictures or the Denver Post’s involvement with it.
i heard that righthaven got really spanked hard by a judge and their site got yanked for a false whois or something like that…
Well, that’s Pete Coors.
Boycott shitty beer!
Kelly, is that Pam Spaulding the photojournalist?
migrating birds on radar
I don’t want to link to anything, but look at Pam’s place. I just don’t have the wherewithal to deal with shit like copyright trolls seeing what’s happening with Pam.
Pam’s House Blend blog. LGBT Activist.
the victims blog is keeping track of info — the whois story is up top
Peeps have now been informed. And we here in PDX sip the high quality local stuff we brew s.t. you can get the good German dark beer on sale. No self-respecting non-hater would buy that Coors crap. Besides the American “mass markets” formulas tend to be high in aldehydes.
OK, not the same person. There’s a Pam Spaulding who shoots for National Geographic.
How do you like this from Bernie Sanders? “Banks Play Shell Game with Taxpayer Dollars” (Apr. 26, 2011)
Ahh, great! Good to know.
I’m still not gonna post my piece/experience about the CELL. Too much potential trouble since I have a pic showing from the inside of the exhibit that it says it’s “Presented By The Denver Post”.
Call me chickenshit, I don’t care. FDL & me don’t need the trouble.
Rest well, folks. Oya …
how can they bitch about a photo you took?
It’s INSIDE their exhibit.
Their whole point is about controlling their image. I have a very negative view, and my video footage supports my view.
And Dean Singleton? He owns, well used to own Media News Group. Powerful dude in town and I think associated with Righthaven, although in some silent capacity.
they had a no camera policy?
Yep. Twerpy dude followed me around too. I’m sure there is tape of me inside the exhibit!
It was very creepy.
Between Righthaven, the Post, Singleton and Larry Mizel, the guy who originally funded The Cell, it’s just a bad place to go on a full on blog post. I did the homework.
ah… sounds like you are making a prudent decision then kelly. i hope that after they are fully stopped that ya are able to write it and post your photo.
may be difficult — direct clip from Burton’s animated movie. That entire final sequence is one of my favorites.
i’ll see what i can find but am making no promises… i’ve got a very funny clip planned for tomorrow night — figured we could all use a good laugh.
time for some sleep — be well, firegods
fuck — i got the fucking happy lucky 100 again. shit.
thank you for letting me hang out with ya tonight
Whoops, sorry for no warning!
