Suze! Pups!
hey ndfg — how ya doing tonight?
Aloha, Suz and LLN pups…! According to your link, Suz, the baby descriptor is ‘medium shrimp’…! ;-)
aloha tut — how’s paradise tonight? be sure to share that link with your grandbaby’s mom — she can sign up and get weekly emails like jen does
doing fine, considering we continued the g-unit’s b’day celebration today by going to the Mall of America after school and i went on the roller coaster with the g-unit over and over and over and over ….
how’re you doing tonight, warmer i hope! i swear by my heating pad near to hand on cold evenings.
we got down to 27 last night and its predicted to be even colder tonight and even colder again sat nite — forecast is 18 for sat *shrudder*
i’m wearing multiple layers of fleece and sorta look like the pillsbury dough boy but i’m a lot warmer. the hip is still pissed off but not screaming anymore
Oh cool, that is an awesome and highly informative site…!
Hey!
hey ce — how’s ohio tonight?
Alan Arkin does not like bunnehs! haha, cute vid Suz, and hello to everyone :-)
Hello everyone, sorry you have a bad hip. . .my ass is still broken.
Oh brrr. We were the only institution open in the circle today. 12 inches of snow.
hey ll — how’s nova tonight? from the episode page (linked in the post):
hey bg — sorry to hear that (((bg’s broken ass)))
are ya having to use one of them donut thingies to sit?
that’s too much forking snow!!!
Aloha, LL… I noticed you had paid a visit or two too…! ;-)
Has everyone seen this response to the GA rep who wants every miscarriage investigated, and each unfortunate woman considered guilty until proven innocent?
Kinda gross, but really funny!
hey funny — how’s seattle tonight?
that r-ga made my blood pressure go way way fucking high. that rat bastoid must really hate women
i love that response :) thanks
Suz, see if you can use TwitLonger but just keep your Tweets Twitter short …
This morning’s storm was so scary.
Hey Suz, Pups.
Can’t stay, fighting through worst week of my life.
Just wanted to say THANK YOU once again as I got my book in the mail last Saturday. Read it too, helped pass some of time of this week, and must say IMO, seriously, proof of having read Griftopia should be required for any voter to receive a ballot.
Thanks again, best to everyone, and please please please no worries over me. Reaping what was sewn over decades, so it’s deserved.
Aloha, ndfg… The Mall of America, eh…? It’s amazing that a shopping mall can actually have a rollercoaster in it…!
hey mzchief — how’s your side of the coast range?
its not that my tweets are too long — it was that i made too many of them in a designated period of time
I’m a little upset about alla those smashed bun buns. Kinda like being in a restaurant with a union busting governor.
No doughnut to sit in, it does not hurt when I sit, just when I have to get myself up, like stepping up and down or getting in and out of the car. I don’t recall that I have ever busted my ass like this before.
hey ofg — glad you got your book
i hope your week improves and that the worst is behind ya dood
Sounds like a seriously messed up dood that should be barred from being an elected official. Make him push a broom but under the observation of a state-board licensed mental health practitioner.
omg it was windy today — we had the 2nd high wind warning in a week! strongest gust near where I am was 61, and I heard of a 70 mph gust just west of here.
OUCH
Aloha CT! Paid a visit to where? I’m confuzzled…
((( OFG ))) Hope things improve for you soon, neighbor!
it was a 70 mph gust that swept me off my feet and caused me to fork up 3 discs and damage the sciatic nerve sheath. i’ve had a spot on my right buttcheek that has hurt since 2/6/01 due to that forking gust
oh man, what the forces of nature can wreak :-(
Suz’s little blog…!
Alan Arkin is one of the best actors of my boomer times . . . love that man’s work from Dark to Them Russians R Comin . . . . and more.
Nice pick Suz!
Howya doin, we get any snowy pics or not?!?!?!:?!?!
*G*
It’s a completely unaffiliated service and I thought it might be a possible work around. But, sure, Twitter might block it. I don’t know as I have not run into your situation.
oh, that is too good! rude, but good! I think the women of georgia should get up a mass mailing effort …
Speaking of blog whoring, I’d posted a new diary at myFDL…
IAEA Claims ‘New Info’ On Iranian Nukes
hey larue — how’s sac tonight?
if ya had visited my wee little blog you would have known the answer to your question
twas my first time in twitter jail — i still don’t know what their #s are for too many tweets.
Hi Suz and bestdealfarmgrrll and the rest of you LLN’er pups.
Suzanne, I found a couple brand names of wine aggravate my hip and knee joints and if there is a doc in the house for confirmation, I think alcohol can do just that.
do you want everyone to leave my thread and go to yours?
hey nonq — how ya doing tonight? mine is aggravated by the cold *brrrr*
My heart out to ya hoss . . .
Please get well and better if ya can . . . I’ll miss ya if ya dop’t.
I’ll really miss yaz . . . *sniff*
Edit: Sorry, folks … obviously by context the “not” doesn’t belong in sentence #1 of comment #26. :-)
OK, ladies and gents … mañana!
would ya like me to fix it for ya?
My bad, M’dear…!
Why yes, please! Editorial super powers are kewl. ;-) Thank you.
this is great – wisconsin police have joined protest inside state capitol
How about some mulled wine them?
Sorry this to Suz @ 42
presto chango — refresh and its fixed
I like the fact they’re doing that to deter the proposed ‘shutdown’ of the State capitol starting tomorrow nite…! ;-)
i was wondering since ya pitched your blogwhore only 24 minutes into my thread posting
Heh, beauty, eh
*G*
I KNEW Suz would take pics, cold and all all that . . .
*G*
OMG, funny! People are so clever!
Hi everyone.
woohoo!!!
fantastic!
dood, if you had read what i had typed to ya last night when you were nagging me unmercifully, you wudda realized that i said i was going to post it — just that i didn’t know when
i don’t drink — do ya have any medicinal marijuana?
hey loohoo — how’s socal tonight?
Heh, just went there, Ma’am . . .
*G*
So ya got yer cold an freezin buttocks and such out doors for pics?
GOOD on yas!
*G*
where’s the “like” button for this? ;-)
hehehehe
That’s going to be my new summer garden thing.
Ohhh, it was a gorgeous, sunny day here. And cold, cold, COLD!
Did not make it above freezing at all, a tall!
But there’s been no accumulation of slippery, frozen crap on the roads, so that’s OK. Wish I could say the same for my front walkway. I’m going to have to be careful.
Glad you liked the response. PZ Meyers at “Pharyngula” has been pointing out this madness, too.
What happened with twitter? I don’t think you tweet too much. I have to go tweet funnydiva’s article. brb.
i don’t get enough sun and would have to grow indoors — which would jack up my landlord’s electric bill — utilities are included in my rent — so i can’t
:(
was gorgeous and forking cold here too — the sun today was so bright and yet so ineffective
If I have a good crop, I could share some!
twitter told me yesterday that i had updated my status too many times and they would not let me tweet for over an hour.
CT of all folks would be the last person I’d think of in terms of blog whoring or stealin yer thunder, Suz . . .
I mean, that’s just simple . . .
CT is family. FDL family.
Never a threat to anyone . . . .
Like you . . . family, never a threat.
Kapiche?
I’m gonna split, it’s been a loooonnnng week around here. Looking forward to sleeping as late as I want to in the morning!
Thanks Suz and g’night all!
LOL!
Hey, sometimes I just have to nag ya . . . even knowin yer ok with my naggin.
*G*
Take the pics!
*G*
g’nite ll
No but I’ve suggested to Gov Gullible that it would bring some tax income to fill the state coffers and make people happy at the same time. He’s not having any of that happiness crap, though.
grrrrrrr
It’s been cold around here, Suz, but I don’t think I’d get much sympathy from most of you!!
Weird, giant crack in the earth in Peru.
I”m gone . . . nice chattin with all y’all . . .
Be well Pups and hug ‘em close . . . .
*poof*
it should be legalized and taxed and sold just like alcohol is — that extra $$$ would fix a lotta states budget woes
Nighters, LL. Hey, Lurk!
Mahalo for the defense, Larue, but, I was wrong in blog whoring so soon in the thread…! My humble apologies, Suz…! *g*
i heard you guys are getting our cold this weekend — holy moly!!!
I got there through the Rude Pundit, who’s been very sound on Gov. Wanker.
But it’s a classic, so by all means, twitter-tweety-twit away!
I just sent it to RawStory.Com.
They posted this today: “Help Raw Story cover Saturday’s nation-wide labor protests: send us your media” (by Raw Story, Feb. 25, 2011 — 2:13 pm):
Use this as a Twitter block workaround tomorrow, folks.
thanks for understanding tut
*heh* You have my sympathies, Loo Hoo…! ;-)
evenin’, ma’am
I wish I could go to ours tomorrow, but I can’t. I went on Tuesday. Tomorrow will be even bigger.
Kick it all across the country!
Hawaii would make a killing off of the taxes…! It’s already the largest ‘cash crop’ here anyways with the demise of Pineapple and Sugar Cane…!
tis the #1 cash crop in ca too iirc
Pity:
where’s that dayam itsy bitsy teeny tiny violin?
Yeah, boo-forkin’ hoo.
Though it better be the share-holders and not the account holders who suffer!
I hid it in one of the pockets of the viola case!
Woo hoo!
They will find some new fee to tack on so we will pay, but you knew that.
Threats sure do make the heart grow fonder, don’t they? Meanwhile, PayPal is trying to worm itself back into everyone’s good graces …
fuckers *spitting*
Suzanne, old topic ancient solution. People of higher elevations in Japan had uninsulated house and frequent cold weather. Smaller versions of hibachi holding a few coals in a covered pottery bowl and wrapping oneself in a quilt with it on the floor and inside the quilt was the “personal,” furnace prior to central heating. Might be worth investigating.
I want to see cuffs and frog-marches…! 8-(
i have an old sock stuffed with beans that i microwave for 3 minutes — its my back buddy and when i put it at the base of my back when sitting, it keeps me warm under my blanket
happy lucky 100 tut!!!
i wanna see cuffs and frog marching too
I highly recommend using credit unions if there’s one close enough. My brother’s bank just allowed direct tv to take $600 from his account without permission.
Good luck, paypal.
*heh* I took the bullet, eh…? ;-)
thanks for the reminder loohoo. i have accounts at my credit union and have been meaning to switch my bofa visa over to a credit union visa.
i got a notice from bofa that they are going to charge an annual fee of $50/year for their visa — fuck that shit. i can get a better rate and no annual fee from the credit union
your link doesn’t work mzchief
thanks dood — i hit the forker twice this week already
Me too. And people who were screwed getting compensated…, but I guess that would be 310 million of us.
Congrats on the 100!
The link is: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/02/24/paypal-cuts-service-to-group-supporting-bradley-manning-report . You’re welcome to fix if you like. ;-)
No kidding. It’s as if BofA thinks they’re doing you a favor by allowing you to pay them. Fuckers.
thanks
guess they decided the interest paid isn’t enough to pay off their execs with bonuses
Glenn Greenwald did a great interview with MaxKeiser.Com yesterday (Feb. 24, 2011) which is front-paged there. The banksters just got a booster rocket on their ride to a very hot place …
i just saw a tweet that it is snowing in san francisco — first time since 1976.
It has been unusually cold here lately … Scattered snow flakes 2x yesterday and this morning.
but there’s no such thing as global climate change /wingnut
weather patterns are all forked up — storms are more frequent and more severe
Oh, hey, I remember the 1976 snow!
I have a theory that BP’s huge fork-up in the Gulf of Mexico has had an effect on the weather patterns.
i remember the freakout on the teevee machine by the news crews. i can’t remember if muni even had chains for their busses
The wingers don’t have a clue that weather isn’t climate. But then, the stuff they believe…
Love Greenwald. I’ll check it out. Did you see him on Colbert? Excellent.
Hiya, pups!
Nice day in Wasilla – 30 degrees, a bit of snow, then sun that made my greenhouse warm up to 55 degrees.
Not such a nice day in the lower 48, especially for workers’ rights, eh?
Oh yeah, Glenn-zilla did great on Colbert.
no kidding…. toss in their insistence that anything non-wingers claim to be true be automatically challenged ….
hey et — how ya doing tonight?
I was in grade school, so it was just cool to have flakes fallin’ outta the sky!
I lived in Sunnyvale, so nothing stuck.
I’m sure MUNI had no frikkin’ clue. And, face it, with all them SF hills…safer to keep all the giant vehicles in the depot!
Hey ET! Loved the developments in Spain today.
Galina Vale performing dance from the opera “La vida breve ” M. de Falla
Science Friday had an almost guaranteed BP fuckup finding something like 90 new born or aborted fetus dolphin pups, edit: dead and washed up on the beaches, over the last month or so. Checking 4 or 5 possibilities such as a virus or algae as causes, but the common factor was the pups were conceived shortly before the spill.
wandering back to the thread … sigh, i just get too lost following interesting links on twitter.
Hi Suz, pups! Love the video:)
oy do i know that feeling….
hey margot — how’s your part of ohio tonight?
Jeebus. The dolphins deserve much better than that. They are so much more intelligent than the humans to begin with. So what if they don’t have thumbs and hang out on land? And guess what that portends for the humans and the rest of the chain of life. What a 500 mile radius biohazard area with my SWAG of a half-life of 50 years?
More Gingrich stoopid.
Galina is amazing. Such thin, delicate fingers, almost double-jointed – like Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Paganiini and my son. All of them had or has Marfan’s, which can make for astounding finger picking.
It’s noticeably colder but we didn’t get the snow CE did. A few flakes maybe, no more.
dayam, temp has dropped to 30.4 and is still dropping *brrrr*
I totally know what you mean. Twitter takes all, especially following Egypt and Libya, etc.
I visited Mauled in America several times when my daughter was younger. Her g-unit is about 5 minutes away from there. Despised the place, myself. I am definitely more for intimate settings, for whatever the purpose, entertainment, shopping, food, etc.
Hi Margot and Ed*ard!
evening, Suzzz, hiya margot
What’s a g-unit? *I should know that…*
i h-a-t-e shopping and particularly h-a-t-e shopping at malls. i would rather shop at a small store and have less options than be in one of them mega-malls.
hey ppd — how ya doing tonight?
My condolences.
Hate to be a party pooper but it’s the pumpkin hour. Niters all!
It is a spectrum disorder, and ET Jr is quite active, having it – so far – in a minor way. His guitar playing can be amazing.
grandchild
It slays me that a computer security firm would so blithely propose breaking the law. Do they even have corporate legal departments?
RU kiddng me?!
23 here! S’posed to get down to 20. Which is actually warmer than last night’s low.
Grandchild, Loo Hoo…! ;-)
g’nite mzchief
i hit 27.1 last night and tonight’s supposed to be colder and tomorrow colder still
hey PPD
hey cujo — how ya doing tonight?
Aloha, mz…!
I wish him the best!
I never would have guessed that one..
Hi Loo Hoo!
Not too bad. Of course, I didn’t have to go outside today. Might have been different if I had.
grandmother
a nickname for my grandson, ie, the g-unit.
I don’t understand how and why the Mexican situation gets so little press here. And I don’t understand why the gun/slaughter machines get so little attention. Fuck the NRA. There. I said it.
Tomorrow ought to be interesting. Be on your blog and Twitter toes! |^o Zzzzz
A DC bar complaint was filed against some of the perpetrators, Cujo…! ;-)
i went out today — was colder than it looked. the sun was bright but ineffective against the cold air
snow is forecast down to 200 feet tonight — empire grade could end up like an Olympic ski jump
Thanks!
twitter said it was snowing in sf a little while ago
yeah, i’ve always despised the place. But my grandson had such a good time that of course i did too. And i love the super-duper legoland store and display.
about time for me to turn back into a pumpkin folks. thanks for letting me hang out with ya tonight
g’nite all
Thanks to you too, CT! Hope to have a g-unit myself someday.
Nite, Suz.
night Suzzzz – be well
Well, at least there are few ethics left in the legal profession. Sad as it is to relate, the computer security field seems to have more folks in it who are, to put it kindly, people who shouldn’t be in it. Most of them are just people who don’t know what they’re doing, though. People who advocate going after folks like they were advocating going after Wikileaks supporters, and planting false information are the sort of folks you wouldn’t want to hire to advise you on security matters. Why would you show the innermost workings of your company to people who would do things like that?
Trust usually requires some ethical limits.
g’night Suze!
Goodnight, Suzanne.
Pleasant dreams, Suz…!
Funny that my daughter liked that the best, of course that was at age six and eight and now at almost fifteen other priorities have replaced legos. She’s probably having withdrawal symptoms as I confiscated the text messaging device until some late schoolwork was completed. 3 days now.
And another sweet dreams from this laker.
Why would you show the innermost workings of your company to people who would do things like that?
Authoritarian thinking you would never expect them to turn on you. Look at Egypt Mubarak’s last speech, look at Libya. Look at Bush/Obama

American Guns killing Brown People means profits?
I’m baaaaack. Here’s what’s up– Twitter response time is waaaay down to the point I am waiting and waiting for the HTML page to get built, minutes are passing and the page is not loading. So, be prepared to use everything else tomorrow as Twitter just may be overloaded if not crashed.
I do not eat Muppets.
I have never eaten a Muppet.

Good morning, pups. It’s Collins, Blow and Herbert today. In “Presidential Primary Book Club” Ms. Collins says this week’s installment of the Presidential Primary Book Club reveals a tale of two Mike Huckabees. Mr. Blow, in “The G.O.P.’s Abandoned Babies” says the Republicans’ budget exposes their contradictory position on child welfare: “pro-life” before birth, utter indifference afterward. It’s nice that someone has finally pointed that out… Mr. Herbert, in “Absorbing the Pain,” says at a gathering in Philadelphia this week, the deep pain of working Americans was readily apparent.
Here they are.
The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and I’ve got French toast made with challah and a hint of cinnamon. I’m not feeling all that well today, so I’m going to totter off to the kitchen for another cup of tea, and then probably back to bed. Have a great day.
