Me, too. At the rally we went to today in Olympia the youngbloods were the most active in gathering a future network tool. They were engaging and serious in their knowledge. I was so proud and impressed.
For years I walked the protests worrying about the lack of youth.

jen was scheduled for an ultrasound last friday but baby julianna was not cooperating — she kept hiding her face behind her hands and feet — so it was rescheduled for this thursday — a day forecast to have snow

My brother & his family were there last week. I told him to take some pictures to compare with what’s left of Wyoming when Yellowstone blows it’s top in the next five years.

OMG, we have new babies around here. Not my kin, thank god. Too soon. But, the babies of the “older” young ones 26 – 32 age.
It’s so much fun.

I wish I could say I believed this was the herald of the rebirth of unionism, but I can’t. Rather than the first act of a new day, I believe we are seeing the last act of a tragedy that started with the embrace of free trade. Being able to offshore the jobs has been checkmate to the unions, as seen in their collapse over the last thirty years. Now it’s simply an effort to put the unions out of their misery, and while they’re at it, reduce teaching from a profession to a service job. I wish I didn’t see it this way…maybe it’s the headache, congestion, and fever.
