Hey folks!

To follow up from last nights comments reguarding guns in public venues around famous politicians.

The left might think they have to allow someone to carry a weapon close to the president so as not to offend the radical NRA, but the members of his security detail have no problem prohibiting guns in and around their charge.

I believe that the same thing is true for Sarah Palin. So, how do I go about putting Palin in conflict with her own security detail, with rational gun owners and with the people she is fund raising for.

I bring this up because you might have heard about Palin speaking at the Safari hunting show in Reno, but her next fund raiser is in Lubbuck Texas. And it is for a Christian school. Guess what? The venue she is speaking at doesn’t allow firearms. This is a standard rule for city owned venues.
Will she and her followers complain about their second amendment rights being infringed? Will they show up with automatic weapons to show they have rights? I would encourage them to do so, so that the Lubbock police can take them away. I didn’t make these rules the city did.

Today there was another school shooting in LA. What is the weapon police of the Christian school she fund-raising for? Is it a gun free zone? Will Palin ask that they change their rules because she believes that the answer to gun violence in schools is more guns. If they have a policy of no firearms will she call for them to change their rules?
What does the school have to say about violent rhetoric? What is their policy if a student verbally threatens to hurt someone with a weapon. What if he draws bulls-eyes on teachers and principles? If the Omaha shooter do something like that what would the school response be?

I have calls into the school to answer the questions.

Tha is something that I need to determine. But one think I hope to do is drive a wedge between Palin and the NRA.

Schools have sensible rule. Extremists in the NRA say, “The answer to guns is more guns.” and that turning a school into a “gun free zone” is simply making it a victim disarmament zone. So Palin comes down on the side of the school then she is against the NRA. If she comes down on the side of the NRA she is against school. If she is against the school she is saying they should allow guns. Okay, I’ll inform the principle (and the media) that the school allows guns, Now, how does that jibe with what Christ says? How does that make the parents feel following the LA shooting today and the Omaha shooting earlier this month? (where the principals were shot.)
