Two weeks ago Swopa noted that Judith Miller had gone from being able to say she worked for the New York Times on her byline to saying just that she was a “FoxNews Commentator”.
Actually, it is even better than that:
Now she’s writing — on contract, not full-time — for Newsmax
Oh she can get right on that birth certificate thing.

About Firedoglake
any idea why fox fired her?
ironically, maybe this does prove the existence of a supreme being
I am now guessing she didn’t show enough leg to keep the fox audience interested
Newsmax featured bloggers are George Will, Dick Armey and Andrea Tantaros no more need be said about that piece of trash. Judy Judy will love it there.
Wasn’t that Dina?
The next step in her career will be a comedy show with Dennis Miller.
Good to know that America hold “Justice” in such high regard
Now that would never, ever happen in USA!USA!USA!
Good morning, pups. It’s Brooks and Krugman to close out the year. Bobo has been reading books again. This tends to be a bad thing. Bobo has descended from the Olympian heights to inform us lesser mortals about what he has learned. In “The Arena Culture” he babbles that two philosophers argue for living life by riding the unexpected whooshes that come along, whether at a sporting event or at church. Sounds grand, except I live life by getting my ass to work and making sure my bills get paid so I’m not tossed out onto the street. Prof. Krugman, in “The New Voodoo,” says this was a year of spectacular hypocrisy. From politicians (mainly Republicans), that meant you got your money for nothing and your tax cuts for free.
Here they are.
The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and I’ve got French toast made with challah. I’ve also got some greens and Hoppin’ John, traditional New Year’s dishes down here. If y’all are planning on going out this evening, stay safe — it’s the night of the amateur drunk. Here’s hoping that next year will be better than this one. Have a grand day, and an evening filled with all the revelry you’re in the mood for. (Me? I stay home and go to bed early. Guy Lombardo took New Year’s Eve with him when he died as far as I’m concerned!)
thanx marion, one little edit on krugman I do believe he would not mind one bit
there, now he has it right
hey marion, just went to your site to read the krugerman, he has a line that is so good, I am surprised I have never heard it before, it’s so obvious one doubts it can be original;
I am sure that’s been done before, I am just surprised I don’t remember seeing it
I think you nailed that one.
Dear Bobo “whooshing” = instant gratification and, in case you were unaware, this is not news. Stick to picture books like your idols did.
In Krugman we trust!
Geez. And I thought the trickle down theory of economics had been dis proven , yet the wingers are still beating that drum.
Cut taxes for the rich and we’ll all be better off.
Believe that one? Then I got a bridge I can sell ya!
And the really ironic thing is that the credibility of Newsmax fell when she signed up.
Dennis Miller does comedy? No shit?
NPR….doing a review of instances from the Decade….interesting…Bush-Gore, 9/11, W with the megaphone, etc. Interesting decade, NO? Happy New Year, all.
It’s good to see that Judy Miller could find a home with Pittsburgh’s very own space alien philosopher-king, Richard Mellon Scaife, and one of his cat’s paws, Christopher Ruddy. A Scaife association is always a kiss of death for the credibility of those who take his money. Miller, however, had already lost whatever credibility she once had. This loss, it seems, has condemned her: As Pareene stated:
I suppose filing from Iraq beats conducting a lengthy Orly Taitz interview!
