C-c-c-old tonight, 27F right now; was incredibly windy during the day, the winds were from the back edge of that huge storm that roared up the east coast on Sunday. We got away with snow flurries, for once!

Not living in snowy conditions (ever), I would have thought some ‘frigid-newbie’ would have done this type of video before.

Childhood friend and I explored some of Columbus today, my two sons went off on their own, turns out they walked more than 30 blocks to get to a Barnes & Noble and then to a comic book store. Pretty nippy out!

I don’t blame you! That video reminded me an awful lot of the conditions we had around here in Feb — ugh

Reminds me of the huge storm just before I moved to Cal. Everything was so paralyzed, Star/Trib couldn’t publish the daily paper. The next day’s edition had big headline — Whopper hit Midwest. In the upper RH front page weather box, the advisory said — How to wax your skis if you’re going downtown.

Southern Cal is still drying out. We need more water here.

wet and windy — under a high wind watch with gusts up to the 60′s predicted…along with a couple inches of rain… got a new weather station from jen for christmas (my old one died) but its been too stormy to install the outside components. this one includes a wind gauge in addition to indoor/outdoor temps, rainfall, barometric pressure, etc.

Ooh… I bet yer just dying to set it up too…! #@*% weather, eh…? ;-)
