The folks who have physically demanding and dangerous work are more at risk if the French retirement age were raised to 62, than those will less stressful employment. In France, the public sympathizes with the the most vulnerable. In the U.S., not so much.

Agree. I was thinking the same thing last night when I happened to catch this on RM (I don’t watch her all that much anymore because of essentially meaningless dreck like this. Who cares? Preaching to more-or-less lefties about the vapid stupidity of McCain is a waste of breath, imo). I would much prefer to watch RM apply her laser-like intelligence on criticizing Obama for similar feckless wig-wagging (to put it very politely). I won’t hold my breath for that to happen.
