This even creeped-out House Republican Whip Eric Cantor. And that was while Cantor was attending a donkey-show*.
One assumed that after pretending to sack and pillage Minsk, Mr. Iott was done receiving the help of prominent elected Republicans.
But one would be wrong, just like Stalin!
Get ready Toledo, because John Boehner is coming to town to join Rich Iott in re-enacting Reagan’s visit to Bitburg.
*May not be true, but close enough for FoxNews.

Teh stupid…
They’ll all vote the same.
What’s the polling like there?
Never mind, I went to Nate Silver’s site. Huge dem lead, wonder why Boehner’s bothering.
The answer
Good morning, pups. It’s Collins and Kristof today. In “Lessons Learned. Already.” Ms. Collins says it’s not too early to reflect on the highs and lows of this election season. Here are a few. Mr. Kristof says we should “End the War on Pot.” He says here’s a way to save Americans billions of dollars and end needless violence: legalize marijuana.
Here they are.
The coffee and tea are ready, and I’ve got blueberry pancakes for breakfast. We’re supposed to get thunderstorms this afternoon that will drop the temperatures. I’m ready for that to happen, since it’s been so humid you can barely breathe. Have a great day.
Good morning all.
What do you all think about the speculation that the polling models are off and the dems are going to do far better than projected?
Hard to tell & I’ve been avoiding comments on the election for that reason. Still, if everyone feels like I do, the Ds will end up with about 2 people in D.C.
I think that “likely voter” models are all guess work — but educated guess work.
But what I see is a lot of Democrats engaging in wishful thinking like the GOP was in 2006 and 2008. I think the Dems will lose pretty badly, wish that wasn’t the case — but it will be, the economy has gone from awful to merely perpetually miserable, that’s not a lot of optimism to hang your hat on. And it will be the Blue Dogs that lose the most.
Naturally, being Democrats they will learn the wrong lesson — rather than give a strong message to their base, they’ll freak and think they have to move further right.
Hard to imagine there’s any farther right to go, but that’s what has been amazing to me in the past two years, how far right is right.
Last night this site showed a poll indicating that my blue dog rep should hang on to his seat. This is a repub district. It’s been repub forever and Arcuri only won after the repub retired and the dems swept in. Cheney even came in to campaign for his opponent during his first run, and we never get that kind of attention. That gives me hope that we’ll have Pelosi rather than Boehner as Speaker.
Off to today’s cooking project.
Be well.
We’ve got a blue dog too. The Savannah Daily Disappointment considers him (John Barrow) to be Republican enough that they actually endorsed him…
In the era of the Jack Boot (Sneaker) Thug, I am grateful that the Nazis are coming out of the closet and standing shoulder to shoulder so that we know who they are. Now when they get called Nazis maybe they won’t squeal so loud in protest anymore.
Mine is a real snake, voted against HCR after initially supporting it. My daughter worked for him a bit in his first campaign…no more. That said, I’ll hold my nose and vote for him again.
I’m off…see everyone later.
Nazis, perhaps; but HALFASCISTS for Sure!
Minsk is not Polish, though it was within the borders of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth until the Russian partitions of the eighteenth century.
Don’t confuse it with Pinsk or Dvinsk, either!
There was a young fellow from Minsk
Who knew a young fellow from Pinsk
Whose girlfriend in Omsk
Has girlfriend in Tomsk
makes it difficult for living in sinsk
