Rove is opening a can of worms with his book. If only Rove and Bush had their books both out before the election that would have boosted our turnout.
Rove and Bush I bet both planned to release their books before the election and then claim credit for an expected GOP victory.
Such a move would have helped Bush restore his reputation. Never mind that with Obama doing nothing about jobs and homes Dem losses were very predictable.
Yet someone with more clout than Bush got him to pull the publication date until after the election. Is Rove’s book also an after the election release?
If so then Bush and Rove have sunk low even in their own circles.

Perhaps we should consider delisting the ship of state, but that is yet another matter.

The book I’m looking forward to is Rumsfeld’s. It’s the only one I want to read from the W admin. Not that I expect him to be honest, but I’m curious how he will spin everything.

I miss mocking Karl Rove on a daily basis. Such a rich target.

He was congressman from my district I think before I was born. I think I despise the GOP so much because I grew up with the kids of people who voted for him.
The town has a certain mindset and Rummy is a great example of it.

It would interesting to see how his MIC investment portfolio made out during his tenure as Defense Secretary.

All I want to know is- why is Rove not speaking from a jail cell instead of freely leaving his trail of slime in daylight.

When the book comes out I’m sure it will be like the old days for a week.:)

Sure Karl will say he wants to reach a larger audience but has anyone here ever argued with a GOPer and have them reply with a quote from a GOP President’s book ever?
Has anyone ever had a GOPer reply with a quote from Rush, Glen, Malkin’s book’s?
Rove’s target audience doesn’t read.

I found out reading about Rummy at the Lake. Growing up Phil Crane was my Congressman anti tax and drunk so drunk despite being the oldest guy in the House he never led a committee.
Our state rep Cal Skinner only after he finally lost did the local GOP paper tell us his first wife left the country and went into hiding because she accused Cal of molesting their child.
Why a wealthy Barrington woman did not trust the court system in a country where money buys justice suggests Cal has Clout from the Devil himself.
Last I heard the wife was still on the run. But thats just a few examples of the GOP machine that produced Rummy.

For ease of understanding a ‘smart’ Professor at Arizona State University coined the devastating understatement regarding “Outliers in social science terms” and which exemplifies not only Rove and Gingrich, but many assorted individuals in our America.

Take, for example, the Code Talk for “Republicans being the Party of Paychecks and the Democrats for being the Party of Food Stamps” and when translated by Native Americans and Chicanos, means simply, that the Overtly Wealthy are “worthy” and the Middle Class and the Economically Disadvantaged are “non-worthy.”

Moreover, Rove should have resigned and done loudly when Bush/Cheney submitted their AUMF Resolution to Congress; Congress approved; and Bush/Cheney signed-off on their Resolution. Consequently, Rove demonstrated that he is abjectly lacking in political Principle, since the Resolution did not meet the minimalist Constitutional Standard for a Declaration of War.

And througout these past years, I still hold the view that Bush/Cheney and their National Security and Defense Cabal should have been hauled off to the World Court, and when accomplished, all, including their political advisers, would be in iron bracelets and shackles, and seen on the national news programs while being marched off to their respective airplanes.

But, then, I am just another military veteran, and what the hell do I know?

Back in 2005, when the existence of Rove’s enemies list was first revealed, I e-mailed the White House asked for my name to be included but never got a response.

Too bad Hunter S. Thompson isn’t around to sue for not ostensibly being on President Obama’s presumed enemies list (in the dark recesses of Karl’s mind).
