I’m waiting for my absentee ballot to arrive so I can vote a straight third-party ticket. Joe Biden’s finger-wagging was the final straw. He and the Democratic Party can burn in political Hell.
I’m pretty fond of old geezers mostly, but not Joe Biden and not all those old white guys clogging our political progress. But, hey, I was an early new feminist and I watched how irate white guys got at the thought of their sisters getting a chance at anything. Maybe that’s why they like all those crazy broads — no threat.
The guy just wants to blame us for his and Obma’s failure’s hey Joe do you blame your wife for your failure’s too?
The personalty profile you and Obama fit is wife beaters.
Maybe that’s why they like all those crazy broads — no threat.
Interesting theory the popular theory is men with big fragile egos men who don’t feel they deserve their own success so they compensate by preening endlessly like dumb or submissive women who offer no threat.
But crazy is then another form of learned helplessness? Crazy is anger directed in this case at anyone but the true target?
The real childhood of Biden, Obama and Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter, Rush and Newt would be interesting.
“As the entrenched global banking cartel continues to control domestic political policy, the next phase of this crisis will inevitably feature an escalation into mass violence. As the Army War College stated, the Pentagon is preparing for “violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States” and “widespread civil violence” due to “purposeful domestic resistance.”
The Pentagon can be preparing all they want, The American public has been castrated, and unfortunately is unlikely to defy serfdom.

And here in California we finally got summer! I drove from the beach where it was 85 at 10:30 a.m. twenty miles inland where it was 105 at 11 a.m. Like driving into the mouth of hell. And now — the fires.
“The International Monetary Fund is predicting a “social explosion” due to this crisis. The IMF and World Bank have a long history of creating social upheaval. Leaked documents from within the World Bank refer to the next phase of the crisis as the “IMF riot.”
Journalist Greg Palast obtained classified planning documents, which shed light on the covert economic imperial operations, Structural Adjustment Programs, that the IMF, World Bank and US Treasury have used in the past as a playbook for destabilizing and conquering foreign nations. In the UK newspaper The Observer, Palast interviewed Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, who was a former World Bank Chief Economist and Senior Vice President, turned whistleblower. They revealed the four-step IMF plan. Though the strategy is slightly modified based on the nation being attacked, here in the United States we are currently about to enter a variation of step-three, which is currently being phased in throughout Europe. This step inevitably leads to a significant portion of the population losing the ability to obtain basic necessities essential for survival. Once this happens, riots inevitably occur, or as they put it: step 3.5 is executed.
Here is how Palast and Stiglitz summed it up:
“At this point, according to Stiglitz, the IMF drags the gasping nation to Step Three: market-based pricing – a fancy term for raising prices on food, water and… gas.
This leads, predictably, to Step-Three-and-a-Half: what Stiglitz calls ‘the IMF riot’.
The IMF riot is painfully predictable. When a nation is, ‘down and out, [the IMF] squeezes the last drop of blood out of them. They turn up the heat until, finally, the whole cauldron blows up,’…
What Stiglitz did not know is that Newsnight obtained several documents from inside the World Bank. In one, last year’s Interim Country Assistance Strategy for Ecuador, the Bank several times suggests – with cold accuracy – that the plans could be expected to spark ’social unrest’.”
I like Joe Biden…I walked a couple of miles to a park one year ago to hear him speak. He’s a likeable guy and his wife seems really likeable.
But I don’t like what he said today.
Can we expect change with David and Rahm gone men without principles are a dime a dozen in Washington but Rahm’s level of stupid, annoying and clout because he worked for Bill would be hard to find.
David has his own problems he can run a campaign but once he got to the WH well can Obama find someone better/
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Campaigning for Democratic candidates in New Hampshire, Vice President Joe Biden said Monday the party’s base should “stop whining.”
Democratic Party base to Biden: “Fuck you and the horse you rode in on.”
Margot, hey!
Joe just wants the Dems to succeed. We all know his foot in mouth is constant, and I get pissed off at him all the time. However, today, don’t ” piss on me and tell me it is raining” or so it goes.
Worst is that we had unusual rains well into spring, which meant lots of plant growth. Then fog at the coast for most of the summer. Now this drying heat and all that dry fuel just waiting to burn. Several fires already. Most contained quickly, but not a good sign for fall.
That means more Clout his replacement in Clout stupid and evil would be very hard to find. Not having Rahm around does weaken the Corporate hold in the WH.
I had to pull the beets, cabbage, broccoli, leeks, zucchini and corn from the garden this afternoon. If the wind stops tonight, we’ll have a hard freeze down to around 25 F.
Rahm’s and David’s replacements should tell us which way the WH goes after the election. Chances are nobody of equal stature will want the job.
However Obama could signal a change of policy by going Left and anyone on our side would take these jobs.
Summers replacement is key if it has not already happened.
I had a platter of roasted salmon over a bed of pickled beets (warm) in Copenhagen. And a dish of boiled potatoes. A sauceboat of hollandaise sauce was added to the table. Oh.
I fear that Obama will slide to the Right some more, where he seems to have found comfort.
Progressives will probably not have his attention, except when the ’10 election is done, and he needs someone to hit for the Democrat’s slide in Congress.
He seems congenitally predisposed to cuddle up to Republicans. The Right is where the money will be, and the crazier the GOP gets, the more space he will have to occupy to his Right.
I can’t believe that I’ve never visited Falling Water (shakes head). My family lives in Schwenksville, PA, near Philly, and in Glen Mills, near Chadds Ford.
Yep, whoever Obama brings in will tell us what he really thinks, because I sure don’t know what his plan is at this point. If he continues to trash SS & Medicare, then he is toast. What a weak person he seems to be. So sad.
That is my worry too I was trying to be hopeful however replacing Summers, David and Rahm with equal people willing to get on a sinking ship that will be hard.
Obama will likely find lesser tools.
Weak and confused I don’t think he even knows he has a plan he just acts and then folds his hand not even bothering to look at his cards.

“Americans should take a page from activists throughout the rest of the world if they’re seriously interested in resisting the massive budget cuts afflicting this country. Consider some of the evidence from various cases below.
The French: Don’t Call Them Cheese-Eating Surrender Monkeys
Over a million French workers turned out in the streets this month to protest proposed government budget cutbacks by President Nicolas Sarkozy. The rallies were part of a 24-hour strike that shut down flights and railway services, in addition to closing schools throughout the country. Government plans to raise the retirement age from 60 to 62 motivated these protests, even though France already has one of the lower retirement rates throughout Europe. The opposition is also driven by resistance to plans to fire 7,000 teachers, the proposed lengthening of pay periods for public employees, and plans to cut pension benefits.”

Not having Rahm would be a good thing unless an equal fool could be found.
Cool! I wish I were French!
