Very seasonable. You got a fire going?

OMG! Perfect video for Ron. He used to teach fly fishing and he is a Slovak. “Trout are English and Bass are Polish”. He will love that. He is a true Hunky.
just got home a little bit ago from 11.33 straight hours of hell at work. gah. But i was met at the door by our time-share doggie, who hasn’t been here for over a month. That was a mood brightener!
hey marymac — how’s sac tonight?
Heh. Belch’s other household name is “Oily Bohunk.”
time share doggie? enquiring minds etc…

Hi everybody.
Another phone interview. And will be talking with another recruiter on Tuesday. Mostly ready for presentation a week from tomorrow. Should be practicing timing beginning of next week.
evening Suzzz – fireguards
*waves!*
Very September; clear sunny days, coolish nights, always a guess when it’ll frost. Could be anytime despite 80 temps in the forecast.
Howz that bay?
Careful with that axe Eugene.
Bwahahahahaha!
Good shit, this.
Smooch baby.
Nasty Girl sends ya a hug.
hey wmd — how ya doing tonight?

Anybody else see the X-Prize winning car? seats 4, 110 mpg, $20K!
damp — rained for two days and more headed here tomorrow. not too cold yet tho.. still 61 outside
Hanging in there. Need to check into bankruptcy in next couple weeks. Job search has been pretty hot last couple months, but doesn’t look like offer will come soon enough.
hey busted *smooches to you and ng* hope ng don’t go all tyrone on ya dooddood
Sac is still Sac but the weather is nice.
I have another coyote story.
Our house is on the American River. We have a fence around the backyard. Our bedroom is about 25 feet from the back fence. We sleep with the windows open. At about 2:30 in the a.m. on Monday we were awakened by six to eight coyotes howling on the other side of the fence. The dogs, Ron and I were scared out of our sleep. Creepy! Poor little Suki had to go to the bathroom about five times later that night. We were all nervous for a day or two.
We are bringing the cat in now when it gets dark. Usually, we wait until midnight. He hates us right now. Tells us for hours about the disrespect we are showing him. Meow. MEOUT.
wow.. i hadn’t heard… amazing dood
*shrudder* thank goodness they were on the other side of the fence *more shrudder*
In a way I like it cause it reminds me of who really is in charge. It ain’t me.
hey busted — you hear back anything yet?
long story … the ex’s wife wanted a dog. They got a dog. She’s rambunctious. Got to be too much after a year or two, so wife decided they should give her to the humane society. My kids and grandson had bonded with the dog and were VERY upset. “Mom/Grandma, can Zorra stay with us, pleeeeeezzzzzeeee?” Being the chump i am, i said yes, if dad/grandpa pays dog support.
So we had the dog a couple weeks and then ex & wife decided they really missed her and wondered if we could time-share the dog, because the break was a nice breather. So we’ve been doing that since early last spring, it works out pretty well. Dog loves both households, gets a new routine every couple weeks, it’s all new and exciting happy time each time she shifts houses. They’ve had her for a month straight because they were training her to one of those electronic fence/collar deals … i’m dubious and will keep her leashed or chained in my yard because i just can’t imagine she could resist a nice plump bunny hopping by.
“If I wasn’t born in Central Europe I shoulda been.” Love that.
I keep feeling drawn to Budapest, or Prague.
it aint me
Hey PPD, everyone
that’s a great story ndfg — dog support (laughing)
hey margot — how’s ohio tonight?
I liked that, too.
I haven’t ever left the country. I don’t know why exactly. Everyone I know has including my kids. Except Ron. He hasn’t been anywhere outside of the USA.
Well, actually, I have been to Niagra Falls and Cabo San Lucas. I don’t think either count.
Who the hell is Tyrone?
Yeah yeah, I got at least one of the six subliminal messages, what can I say. I’m a guy.
Smooch baby.
Love ya honey.
BTW, I got the sweetest damn post card from Teddy yesterday thanking me for showing up at Weed Fest.
I have no idea how he got my address…….
Love you sweetie.
G’thud.
i’ve only been to tijuana when i was a kid. now that i’ve got a passport, i’m hoping to win the lottery or something so i can travel.
guilty look — i gave it to him dood. g’thud babe
We should go to Ireland together. Look up relatives. Find the ones we share.
ha, it’s great! Ex deals with vet visits & bills, brings food, supllies kennel, leashes, etc. Of course, we haven’t been able to resist buying a few chew toys *g*
yup we should. turns out egregious and i are related. she figured it out reading my granny’s obituary and saw a name and location in common. she’s 5th cousins to my mom. amazingly small world
i bet you and i got kin in common too.
All’s well here. The news kept telling about severe storms, a tornado in Athens that did quite a bit of damage and caused injuries. Lifted off the air conditioning unit from the roof of a high school and blew it into the football field, overturned trailers, ripped up houses, etc. etc. I emailed someone I know there and she’s fine, but said the sky did turn a really funny yellow color right before the heavy wind and lightning started.
wow, that’s a great deal ndfg. vet bills can be expensive
yikes — i heard there was a tornado in brooklyn today.
Time for bed. Good night all.
g’nite wmd — fingers and toes crossed dood
the wind
They count!
counting
local camel rescue story
aaaaawwwwwww. Silly camel. I didn’t know that camels were native to Oregon.
hiya margot
tis a ‘therapy camel’ per my local news — kids with cancer iirc. fell into a sinkhole and the owner called the fire department with an ‘i know people come first but if you guys could help’ call. oregon city is a burb of portland just to the south and east.
different rescue
I have two therapy dogs, one therapy cat and one therapy ex-husband. It has helped.
and yet another
having both of my ex-husbands in different states than me has been very therapeutic
nice
The vid, Greg Brown, priceless.
“Welcome To Idaho, Now Go Home.”
“Don’t tell my wife I’m a flyfishing guide, she thinks I’m a piano player in a whore house.”
The pics in the vid, Greg’s cadence in his voicing, it could be a fest. Big stoves and kitchens, lots of breakfast foods coming out to share with the camp.
Nodding off late at night with cold whiskey in a tin cup in lawn chairs (fest chairs).
Sweet, Suz, nicely done.
Howdy Pups, how ya doin?
I am starting to slide off my chair. Must go to bed. Night! See you all tomorrow.
all my ex’s
hey larue — glad ya like it. how ya doing tonight?
Like it!
g’nite senator
I’ll bet you miss another California budget catastrophe up there in OR, Suzzz
got my fingers and toes crossed they don’t fork up my calpers pension…. i fear they are gonna go after the public employees pensions at some point
Good Suz, thanks.
88F today, but kewled off fast tonite, heading to lo 50′s, great sleeping weather with windows open and fans in them to suck in the kewl.
Working on a comment for Spocko and WMD if they’re around, about employment hunts and such.
;-)
That’s been a stated case and concern at the fed level, and sad to say, CA is at the center of the bullseye.
In case any dem’s give a fuck, Jerry Brown has already said he’s for cutting back any way possible.
And that means, tackling unions and gov pensions for public employees.
I wish you well, AND (edit) I’m not voting for the fucker. And because OF that, too.
But that’s another diatribe for another time and place.
On with LLN.
wmd said g’nite a wee bit ago dood
Mellow song
Nite Mary
love llb — have ya heard this by them?
Those guys were tearing up KPIG’s airplay for a few years.
Where I first learned of them.
A lot like Indigenous.
Edit: Dang, had to pull out dobro to pick some with them, that good!
*G*
And than, KPIG started to charge for the online stream, and I lost my connect.
But Los Lonely Boys are real deal, and have hit a few fests out here in CA. Not one’s I was at, sadly.
Great pick Margot, thanks.
Great Americana sound. Love ‘em.
when i featured indigenous up top a while back, they got a great reception from the pups.
token update
Ok, Margot, my dobro got them doing this outta G#.
Nice, makes me work but opens up the neck a bit up higher on the GBDGBD dobro.
Likey!
*G* Like a possum in the night!
Another great one.
I wish you and CALPERS the best, Suzzz – most pension programs are underfunded from a little to alot.
*G*
And well they should as the band and the Pups are both hot, savvy, and well, in the know.
Like you.
*G*
Oh my, that’s really good. Another for my favorites list!~
thanks ppd — i never thought i would be worried about a calpers pension — they always had a reputation as being rock solid. but then again i never thought i would see the day when cops and firefighters are being laid off.
aw shucks thanks dood
I wish I knew how to play the guitar. I kind of learned a few chords but then my son sold his guitar (old cheap one anyway)…
And all of them are under fire, and even a fucking DEM like Jerry Brown is looking to take them out for political gain. What the fuck Brown needs to gain anymore is beyond me, but he’s no liberal or progressive, and he’s looking to gut CA more than it is.
And that means pension plans and more.
I just can’t vote for him.

Hi Suzanne. I’m just waiting for the collapse.
You can bet a lot of cheap instruments to start on, for $100 or $200 new or used.
And for $35 I bet you can find a cheap dulcimer, that’s easier to learn than a guitar.
I urge you to learn to make music with an instrument and your voice.
It’s a lifelong gift to yer self, at any age.
And one of the GREATEST turnon’s and self fulfilling things that can happen to a person.
*G*
hey vmt — nice neko :) how ya doing tonight?
Hugh says ’11. I’m not so sure he’s not right. In fact, I think he’s offered enough info to back him fully.
Beware, be well.
Good. Just hangin’ out procrastinating. Thanks for asking.
i’m a champion procrastinator
I wish I had a crystal ball. I’m pretty sure it’s on its way, though.
Suz, Pups, I’m gonna ramble . .
I think I’ll save my interview on Monday story for Friday LLN, when I can get spocko and WMD to see it.
It’s a doozy, and when I comment, I hope some Pups looking for work will find a bit of inspiration in it all.
To preface, it’s never too early to go door to door and hit face to face with your resume and info.
Sweah.
*G*
Nite awl.
zzzzzz
I’m still waiting.
LOL
N now, zzz . . .
g’nite larue
Music for procrastinators. This tune changed my life forever as soon as I heard that rimshot.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAs-kS-wGFs
Thanks Larue, I hadn’t thought of a dulcimer. You don’t mean a hammer dulcimer, do you?
I have a magnet that says “My other house is cleaner.” I was going to get one that said, “Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow?” but I haven’t gotten around to it yet…
Nite Larue.
that’s really smooth vmt.
i used to have a poster in my living room that said fuck housework sure do miss that poster
Yeah, it’s a good one. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hi Suz and all, fish stories! Far as a total collapse it is not on the horizon the way the financial markets are played. Besides Jerry is not going to alienate his strong supporters Emergency Services. Pension funds have already taken the hits and my firefighter friends are not concerned. Fingers and toes crossed.
hey bb — how’s your bay tonight?
happy 100 vmt!!!
Thanks Suzanne. Looks like I’m the true champion now.
see, there was a reason for your procrastination — without it, ya would not have snagged the lucky 100 :)
Heavy fog now earlier was sunny an nice. I was at it at 6:30 am conferring with waste water experts in Fla. We are still locked up with the County spin machine. Tonight was our Community Services meeting from 6 to 10 so the bay will have to wait another day. Sounds like you are welcoming winter to NW Oregon Coast. Never a dull momment weather wise.
Yup, but it is time for me to hit the hay. Night all.

most assuredly fall. i’m back to wearing fleece but it hasn’t gotten socks and slippers cold yet. another busy day for ya dood.
Soup weather…building wonderful brews with brown rice and beans, peanuts, sunflower seeds, sprouts and whatever wonderful things to be creative and nourishing. Got my champion juicer going and made green juice, some of which I added to the soup. Have a cup, Yum.
g’nite vmt
’bout time for me to head out folks. thank you for letting me hang out with ya tonight
g’nite all
