In case there was any question about the granularity of the honor Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin want to restore, yesterday at the Lincoln Memorial while they besmirched the memory of Martin Luther King Jr on the anniversary of his great speech about his great dream — look no farther than two of Glenn Beck’s [...]

| By: Lisa Derrick Sunday August 29, 2010 7:00 pm |
Can Humboldt create a pot tourism industry like Napa’s wine tourism industry, and to a smaller extent Los Olivos, and build on what is already there in the gorgeous county? Does it want to?
Things Obama Won’t Mention on Tuesday |
| By: Siun Sunday August 29, 2010 6:00 pm |
Tuesday night, President Obama will address the nation to mark the supposed end of combat operations in Iraq. Obama is planning a big week. On Tuesday, he will address the nation on the supposed end to combat operations in Iraq, on Wednesday he will oversee the start of supposed peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine. Of course, the democratically elected leaders of Palestine are not invited, only Mahmoud Abbas who “unilaterally extended his term” as President of the Palestinian National Authority, a term which ended in 2009.
