LEAP Director Neill Franklin Backs National Black Police Association Endorsement of Prop 19: Legalizing Marijuana Will Cut Violent Crime

By: Jon Walker Friday August 20, 2010 11:45 am

The money from illegal drugs has been providing a large and dependable financial pipeline to violent criminal organizations including American gangs and international drug cartels. WSJ Leaks Catfood Commission’s Social Security Deliberations

By: David Dayen Friday August 20, 2010 9:40 am

Why Does Justice Kennedy Hate Senator ‘Military Commissions’ Graham?

By: emptywheel Friday August 20, 2010 8:30 am

By: David Dayen Friday August 20, 2010 6:45 am

Two FCC Commissioners and one US Senator slammed the Google-Verizon joint policy agreement and strongly endorsed the principle of net neutrality last night at a hearing before hundreds of citizens in Minneapolis, giving the Chairman of the federal agency Julius Genachowski all of the support he would need to regulate broadband Internet, if he so chose.
