A horrible ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court:
Click the link.
hey bb — how’s your bay tonight?
Pretty good. Made switch to night swimming tonight – SLV HS pool is on new schedule, no week day public swim. Swam 2200 yards.
hey starbuck — how ya doing? the time article that blog links to gives me the shrudders
I never caught that vid before…but Mrs Hughes is some way, way, funny…I am here in my chair peein my pants…good stuff!
has been foggy here all day — but warm. got up to 72 for about 10 minutes but stayed at 70 for several hours. now down to 54 and i’m wearing fleece again :)
Hoosier roots music.
I was fine till I read that. Went to a Salsa dance festival in our park. Had a great time then I read this!
WTF!!! First, Habeas Corpus, now it continues.
hey ed — glad ya liked it. busted sent it to me and i totally cracked up watching it. thought ya’ll might get a kick outta it.
how ya doing?
Ok Suzanne…thanks for asking. Please tell busted that was a total howl…and kudos to you for sharing it with us…
hope all is well with ya!
I like that Rev Peyton’s video was filmed in some random barn with local talent. Pretty cool sideshow performers.
Funny! Thanks Suz…I needed to laugh.:)
By the way Suzanne…have been over to your twotongreen blog and would be remiss if I did not tell ya that you have some fine photos posted there…very nice pics…hope to see more of your artistry!
hey margot — how’s ohio tonight?
aw thanks ed. just documenting life on the bay with a very good camera :) tis a very special place with eagles for neighbors — a great place to watch mother nature no matter the season.
We had to stop, MrCE and I were laughing too hard.
new-ton! how ya doing dood?
hey ce (waving to mr ce) — how ya doing tonight?
Summer arrived, that’s how.
Signed, withered and in need of an ice bath.
Crap, it’s hot. Finally
How’s tricks up there?
Did Busted send this to you? If so, please tell him to stop by and say hello!
cool and foggy *ducking*
Weather so cool and lovely, we have new haircuts and getting ready to travel. Sounds silly, but we still get super excited about a new adventure.
he did and he was here last night ce. was hoping he would show up tonight but if he doesn’t and ya’ll wanna tell him ya liked it, ya can always leave a comment over at his place.
i’m getting a haircut monday — but i’m not going anywhere. i’m just getting shaggy looking. how many days until ya leave?
New adventures should always be exciting…nothin silly bout that Christine…I am sure you will enjoy!
Always the shocking date: September 11.
you would think that i would be able to remember that…
It’s really pretty. The things that flower in fall are starting to flower, like the silver lace vine that drapes over fences.
some inspiration for some future artwork?
I flew to Paris on September 11, 2002. Alone, as MrCE flew two days before. Let me tell you, once I made my connection in Detroit, I think that there were only a dozen people on that flight. I read the NYTimes for six hours, and made my way to our hotel in Paris.
Billy is the shits…just love the guy…although the subject matter is no way funny, I have had 3 so far in my ‘young’ life…but he put a great freakin spin on it and truthiness… :–}
We do too! We passed him going up the train station in Edinburgh… love him.
‘Oh shit I thought the war was over’
am now laying on the ground holding my sides and laughing my sorry ass off! ole robin gets down with it to the max!!!
Maybe with sketch pad and pencils, yes. I can sit in my backyard and draw it while it grows over me…extremely fast-growing stuff!
the frozen toilet paper got me.
token thinks i’m nutz again and gave me a dirty look for waking him up with my laughter
hey ppd — how ya doing tonight?
Oh it so late — MrCE has Band of Brothers on, and it makes me cry. The other show that make me cry was BBC’s “The Choir.” Lovely.
That sounds like a little bit of nirvana…sketching in the backyard amongst the flowers…
hey vmt — how ya doing tonight? oooooo that’s funny!
Good. Just having a laugh.
good night all.
G’nite Christine…pleasant dreams…
G’nite wmd1961…be well…
Just back from a long day at work and the post-Alaska primary Unity Dinner.
Very progressive Democrat Scott McAdams, who is most likely going up against teabagger Joe Miller for our 2012 Senate seat, gave a stunning address. A couple people took videos. I think once people realize how powerful Scott’s message is, this will become the most watched US Senate race this cycle.
hey et — how’s your garden?
You’re killin’ me here, Suz. I’ve only watched Mrs. Hughes and Billy and I’m not sure I can take any more. Thanks for the much-needed levity.
Hello and Good night To All you LLN’ers,
Had to follow up on a little project, epoxied some wood pieces together to build a custom pair of oars for a rowing boat. Gently shaving the excess squeezed out glue off before in totally hardens saves me hours of work.
LN food and fall and frivolity and now some sleep, wonderful. Thanks for the links, I can get a full ration of sleep before these download on my dial-up and I can view them with my morning brew.
Everybody be well.
hey sb — how’s santa barbara tonight? glad you are laughing
Carlos and Wanda…back to back…now that is a work of art Suz…my ribs r hurtin…you sure do know how to roll them…
Niters nonquixote…be well and sleep tight
hey nonquixote — and g’nite
evening. Touch of fall in the air here.
My moonflower vine is finally blooming. Tres flashy next to the also gorgeous white chiffon rose of sharon plants.
never could roll worth a shit
It’s been up to 70 degrees or more in the day this week, and sunny, so my potatoes probably added about 70 to 90 pounds of mass.
well i am slip-slidin away…but goin with some serious laughter that
Suz helped spread around tonite..be well pups and
technicolor happy dreams for ya!
oh yay! you will have a stash for soups and stews this winter to remind ya of summer
cheech and chong
Takes more than a lot of potatoes to remind me of summer, but at least we won’t have to trap mice to make it past February.
What’s with the kook book last Sunday?
Kook didn’t even have a clue about chemtrails.
hey plove — how ya doing?
oh lardy — how could i have forgotten andy!
He’s got a good heart, but gets his info from somewhat limited sources. At least he answered us, eh?
I’m doing passable, thanks.
Phillies lost again.
Thank God I was here.
I was expecting you to throw him a bone … maybe bail him out.
:) so many good comedians to try to remember
True. Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, George Carlin, the list goes on.
happy 100 vmt!!!
nah. He only sorta gets it, which is better than not getting it.
I’m doing well, especially with the belly laughs. I think I’ll save this link for when the real world closes in on me. I hope there’s enough humor here to counteract the crazy!
when my choices to life’s craziness are crying or laughing — i try to choose laughter
Bruce is great … walking the old neighborhood.
My offices were just around the corner from Bookbinders.
I love to laugh, but if I’m being honest, I tend to choose tears. It’s kind of a fallback position for me. Catastrophizer of the first order, that’s me.
my oldest girl admits that she needs to cry occasionally. is what works for her to get rid of excessive emotions. my youngest uses humor. its really finding what works for ya that matters
how cool! are ya still in the philly area?
I definitely do both. (And find that martinis enhance the effect either way!) The other piece of the puzzle is being well-rested, which I forget. So, off to bed for me, in order to fight the good fight again tomorrow. And hope that there’s no GPS tracker attached to my car, even though I am a very good girl.
Sounds like comedy night!
As you may know I used to do stand up. I was an opening act or MC and did “industrial comedy” and got paid for it. It’s hard for me to watch comedy now because I can “see the seams”. Also like a lot of comedians what makes laugh now is different that what makes “normal ” people laugh.
hey spocko — how ya doing tonight? i sure did like your seminal diary today
I’ve been on the phone with my older son, who is explaining “objectivism” to me. And why he thinks it’s unfair that we get taxed. I tell him it’s rent for living in a 1st world country, but he’s never been anyplace really poor…
He didn’t used to think like this…oh well. I just told him about the Tennessee Valley Authority, Rural Electrification, and how that opened up vast areas of the country to prosperity, yadda yadda. We don’t have to agree, he is a sweet boy.
’bout time for me to head out folks. thanks for letting me hang out with ya tonight — and getting my thread over 100 comments. i didn’t think we would get there tonight.
g’nite all and *le poof*
Hey Suz and LLN pups. Great video Suz.
I didn’t know you did standup!
Do you have a favorite joke?
Here’s one of mine (well it’s Flip Wilson’s): joke
That’s the diary I talked about yesterday.
It’s under a different header the one from last night might get us a call fro
The secret service!
