Uninspiring, to say the least.
It would be awesome if the Democrats had launched something as ambitious as a nationwide clean energy/infrastructure project, on the scale of Eisenhower’s interstate highways. Instead, the stimulus bill was 30% tax cuts, and Wall Street was made whole at a cost of $400B in taxpayer money.
Meanwhile, people are still losing their homes, still looking for work and have been reduced to raiding their already meager retirement funds to stay above water.
Also, the music sucks.

About Firedoglake
What an incredibly lousy ad!
It won’t be what motivates me to vote in November.
It’s the predictable result of incredibly lousy people. And you’re right, it won’t get out much vote at all.
Ad worthy of Karen Hughes.
I think you mean “…stay above water.”
True dat. Many more can say “above water” than who can actually stay above water. *g*
I take it this ad is running in Nebraska and South Dakota.
Hahahaha
Do we put Main St. ahead of Wall St?
Do we hold big business acountable when they’ve gone too far??
Or do we return to Republican policies…..
OMG!@!!
They really should’ve thought through those questions before asking them. Someone out here in lala land might actually, you know, realize the correct answers.
Do we hold big business accountable when they’ve gone too far?? HAHHAHAHAHHA make me laugh out loud.
Assholes.
We elected Democrats and we still got the Republican policies that got us in this mess.
MF Assholes.
Tim Kaine is a disaster. When I heard he was in at DNC and his strategy was to run against Bush again in 2010, I knew the Democrats were in trouble….and that was when the Obama shine was still strong.
I guess we can show those wind-towers in bodies of water in Dem ads now that Teddy Kennedy’s dead.
Tim Kaine will be the tastiest victim of the post-mid-terms purge. This man is an idiot. It’s as if he’s gone out of his way to create a GOP Congress for Barack Obama to run against in 2012 — oh, wait. Obama will be impeached by a GOP Congress, so I guess Joe Biden will get to run against them in 2012.
Yeah, I don’t expect leaders I elect to agree with EVERYTHING I believe in. I concede that most people aren’t as liberal as I am. Still, I’d like to have some actual, you know, DEMOCRATS.
Don’t really think it will take them long to impeach Biden either.
Then they’ll have who they always wanted to run against. HRC.
Impeachiness.
See my 12. That’s what I meant to imply.
Except leading Democrats say he doesn’t need to worry about his job even
ifwhen the midterms turn out to be disastrous for the Democrats. They LIKE him. I guess he doesn’t make them as uncomfortable as Dean did. This ad, missing the entire point, overlooks that the American people have seen through the Democrats’ scam. Unless the message, and the actions that motivate that message, change FAST, the Democrats will lose and big.
I can’t understand why so many Americans have chosen to have baskets of rolled-up socks next to their teevee machines just as this ad airs.
And, finally, what’s all that rural shit? Those people didn’t vote for Obama, and pictures of their dying farms won’t make them.
Nah. It’s ignoring us. Because we’ll come out to vote anyway. That’s what Rahm said and he must be right.
Maybe hearkening back to the halcyon days when O won in Iowa?
Most of the middle-of-roaders & lefties I know say they’ll still vote D because the Rs have become so much worse. Sigh.
Be something if all of that played out and then the Repugs nominated Jeb in 2012.
Bush v Clinton
Their all time wet dream of a contest.
I guess that they don’t spend any time here.
Lets impeach Pelosi.
Vote ?
Why waste my time?
Heh.
It’s a gorgeous day outside. I’m gonna tear myself away from my computer for awhile. BBL.
Not this leftie!!
Uninspiring ?
If only they’d torn a page from Blanche’s book

Yeah. This really looks to me like a coordinated effort to push this country to the right and further into a corporate
friendlycontrolled regime. I’m not given to fits of paranoia but it is the only theory that can adequately explain the Republicans crazy rhetoric being ramped up in direct ratio to the Democrats’ approvals sinking. If they were running an honest game, even Republicans could work out that the best thing to do is STFU and let events unfold. Instead they seem determined to leave everyone with the impression that they are unrepentantly and incurably batsh*t crazy.Nope. And it’s very difficult to think of a shortened version of how to convince them, even in a small dinner gathering where the guests are receptive. I had such an example on Sunday evening, and the two guests listened politely and didn’t disagree, but weren’t convinced not to vote D anyhow. Local D rep used to be one of the more progressive ones (Hinchey) and they won’t believe he’s in the veal pen now that a D is in the WH.
Yeah, guess I skipped over the 3rd leg.
Guess they’ll have to impeach her too to get it down to HRC.
obamarahma won and the repugs still rule. My vote for President will make a difference how?
OK. Now I really am leaving. Be well.
Whoops, promised not to respond to the heartless one and already did.
Dayem, didn’t even realize it was a heartless one post until I hit submit comment.
My bad.
Have a great day.
Not if you’re voting for president in 2010.
The politicians here in Mass don’t bother to put their party affiliation on any of their campaign literature .
I even checked a couple of candidate web sites and still found no mention of what party they represent .
How fucked up is that?
Politicians that don’t have the balls to list their party.
D or R they both suck !
Did you see this morning that Blanche is down 65 to 27? :) :) :)
Yes Margaret, you are indeed getting it right, IMO.
No one wants to believe in wild conspiracy theories, but the only logical explanation for the way both parties have been able to push the political spectrum to the right the way they have is if they’re at least cooperating in some way, at most really are just one party with two divisions. Neither is acceptable to me.
And IMO we’ve GOT to stop it.
They’re both the same. Party affiliation only matters to partisans who count Ds vs Rs. Just a stupid game to them, policy is unimportant.
I agree. I hesitate to even say such things because conspiracy crazies are, well, crazy. Maybe I’m adding two and two and coming up with 79 but I don’t think so. Nothing else makes any sense.
Heh, the Democrats put Main Street ahead of Wall Street. That’s a good one. Who are you going to believe, a DNC ad or your lying eyes?
I’m pretty sure the third person in the line of succession is the Speaker of the House, currently Nancy Pelosi. After the election, that could change. We could actually get Boehner!
Did you catch Dr. Dean on KO last night, trying unsuccessfully to defend his opposition to the non-Mosque not-at-ground-zero? I’m afraid Dr. Dean is lost to me now ~ he could not make a convincing argument for his untenable position on the issue. I was stunned and disappointed. He sounded more like a DINO than I have ever heard him be. (:>
I don’t have any dim to vote for beyond local in 2010. I specifically referred to the presidential election because I’m looking ahead. The winner of the last presidential has been such disappointment to me and I don’t see it getting better whether he wins again or not.
Yeah, I really screwed the pooch with my conspiracy theory. First I forgot that third leg of succession, then I posted above they’d have to impeach Pelosi as well.
Well duh, obviously it wouldn’t be Pelosi then it would be Boehner.
Oh well, I still stick by my theory that
Bush v Clinton
is a right wingers wet dream of a Presidential contest.
way to spend that campaign cash !
who will rid me of this meddlesome eyebrow ?!?!
I think I’ll believe my chronic inability to get a job. I’ve been in the job market for over 30 years and this stretch of unemployment easily more than doubles my longest prior stretch and Mr Obama, all but one week of that is under your watch. Yeah, I lost my job due to Republican policies but I’ve been unable to find work under YOUR policies, (which seem very similar to Bush’s from my perspective). There comes a time when you can’t blame Bush anymore. We’ve crossed that line.
I’m sorry. I was attempting to lighten things up by being silly. :)
No. I refuse to watch, read, listen to or discuss that stupid, inflated, made up distraction anymore. When KO announced it, I turned on Astros baseball and watched that instead.
That ad is so watered down and bland. I could have written, shot, and edited an ad like that whilst drunk. Seriously, a 2nd grader could have put that together, and it might have been better. So obvious, overly slick, and about as inspiring as a ricecake.
I know Bush f***ed up the economy, but to run against him when he’s been out of office for nearly 2 years is really embarrassing.
Hope and Change? Folks, hope is not a strategy.
Hard to find anyone these days that isn’t extremely pissed off.
And I gotta say I sure can’t blame them!
This country is a freaken mess and come November we could find some really extreme people elected to office.
I still don’t see how anything would improve no matter who is running the show .
Again, Bush policies caused my job to go away. But I was only unemployed under the Bush administration for one week, Bush’s last. I blame Bush policies for losing my job. I blame Obama policies for failing to get another one. This is starting to sound to me like “vote for us because we are sadder that you lost your job than the Republicans”. I have no use for platitudes.
They really should’ve just been honest about their approach and made the ad say.
LOOK OVER THERE!!! See those batshit crazy Republicans!!!!
You know you can’t vote for them, so STFU and vote for US!!!!
[This ad has been paid for and approved by the Democratic National Committee, who reminds you that the Republican really are batshit crazy.]
I would like to associate myself with these remarks.
No. For middle class and the poor it no longer matters which party is in office. We are going to be fleeced for the benefit of the wealthy. After Citizens United, that’s only going to get much, MUCH worse.
In a nutshell.
One has to ask the Dems “is this all you have?”, and the answer is sadly “yeah, that’s it.”.
Or as someone else said it “We don’t suck as much as the Republicans”. What a slogan!
I wonder where the economy would be now if Fannie and Freddie did not back the sub-prime loans to people buying houses that could never have afforded the mortgage payments but could only hope for the prices of homes to keep going up rapidly.
Blame Bush,
Blame Barney Frank,
Blame Bill Clinton,
Blame Charlie Brown for all I care just could we stop with the nonsensical policies? Cash for clunkers, socialized health care, unfunded social security promises, 1.X trillion $ deficits, political wars, state bailouts …
That would be honest, though of increasingly questionable veracity these days…
The R’s really are batshit crazy.
And they could end up running the country.
Scary thought, ain’t it ?
Wow, you have summed up Capt. Mediocre and his administration in just five words. BTW, has anyone seen that the dude’s lackeys have come to know that their health care plan is, unfortunately for them, being seen as it really is, a pathetic, useless debacle that will continue the US’ position as spending the most and getting the least in return. HA ha, the joke’s on us.
That’s how the Nazis got power.
Not quite so scary when you remember that an idiot like George W Bush had control over the football for 8 full years and we lived to laugh about it, and he had a batshit crazy administration along with it doing unthinkable things to our Constitution, and we lived through that.
If I have to live through more insanity to get to a better place, I will.
I get Page Not Found on your first link (lackeys)
I tend to think of sucking more like virginity. One either sucks or one doesn’t.
But it was BIPARTISAN®! Nothing else matters but being BIPARTISAN®! Everything else is good as long as we’re BIPARTISAN®! As long as we’re taking money from those who can’t afford it and giving to those who are already wealthy beyond the dreams of Avarice, it’s okay because it’s done in a BIPARTISAN® fashion.
Here should be the correct link to the health care repackaging story.
Ad sucks.
I think Obama has the correct on-liner (nothing more than a one liner of course)…
what do you do when you want to Drive your car… put it into D
and what do you do when you want to Reverse?… put it into R
Lincoln down 65-27? That’s your pick Rahm, great job you f#cking ret@ard.
The Democrats need a snappier slogan, something like We Can Do Better. /s
Somehow I think this has gone beyond the point of picking a better slogan.
That’s hot.
;o)
Yep. Thanks to Rahm there’s about to be some a** kicking in Arkansas.
Only an actual Bush on the ticket would get me out to vote for Obama or Clinton.
Even Palin would not, that would be worth a good laugh as I set sail that first WED in November.
I love this comment someone made yesterday, it would make a great bumper sticker:
“Somebody should do something…”
forgot reply button
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
You should read the link at 64.
It would have to credit Atrios.
Even tho I’m disgusted with this whole ginned up claptrap (and usually turn off the tv & radio if junk comes on about this not-an-issue), I did watch KO “debate” Dean on this. Yeah: what a load of crap from Dean. Dean, as opposed to conservatives, spoke in complete sentences that appeared to make sense… except those sentences didn’t make sense.
Dean has joined the ranks of neo liberal DINOs who are out there shilling for the corporations. Dean was PATHETIC last night. Truly PATHETIC. I don’t know who he thinks he “fooled” with that nonsense, but I congratulate KO for having Dean on so the world could see how far Dean has gone to be a SELL OUT. Behold: it was pitiful.
I won’t bother to watch this piece of junk ad from Tim Kaine, who is the world’s biggest loser, except that our neoliberal DINOs love him (because he’s such a loser?).
Sadly, though, too many D’s WILL GOTV for D’s this fall just because they ARE bamboozled by the tactics of the Tea Baggers. This current crop of laughingly called “Democrats” loves the Tea Baggers even more than the Kochs do bc it gives the D’s all the cover they ever needed. Rahm is right, sadly. They D voters will vote for Ds this fall (not me, however, unless for local folks who I happen to agree with).
And so: on it goes…
And Harry Reid’s big idea to differentiate Democraps from Repuglicans is to “debate” extending tax cuts for the filthy rich, (regardless of the fact that they’ll just expire if they don’t get taken up). I see another BIPARTISAN® “compromise” coming in which the rich get to keep their tax cuts while the middle class loses theirs “due to the deficit” and “for the good of the economy”. No doubt they’ll buy ad time to congratulate themselves on only extending the rich tax cuts for another ten years, (But, but, Republicans wanted to make them permanent! See how fiscally responsible and wonderful we are?)
O/T
Is there any way to edit in the
“In response to —– @ ##”
that appears right below your name
in a post if you forgot to hit the reply button originally?
LOL!! High five!
Another example of where the “professional left” was correct and the idiots in the White House were majorly wrong.
Rahm and his boss flushed 12 million dollars down the toilet defending Lincoln. At least Halter had a legitimate shot at keeping the seat.
Heck of a job, Rahmie.
Suddenly those millions don’t seem so wasted. If Halter had won, he;d be at least tied.
Pretty sad attempt by Ho Dean. KO sounded a little sad that he could not (or decided not to) go directly at him. Or perhaps sad that even though he was going directly at him that Ho Dean was still floundering – since he made no damn sense.
I am waiting for a MSM to bring up the laws Reid supports for no non-Morman churches within 1 mile of their temple.
Just what we need, a bunch of tribes, and having to triangulate who gets the best territiory in “their town”.
Jeb Bush will be our next President–in 2012. You heard it here first.
I believe the Repubs’ original plan was to hack Jeb in right after GWB. They didn’t count on the massive public revulsion to the Bush-Cheney regime (right-wingers just don’t understand they are a creepy minority), so they were forced to let the Democrats take power.
Now that Obama has breathed new life into the Republican Party–truly his biggest achievemebt–the Republicans are going to back to their original plan. They’re going to flip Jeb in come 2012. History will remember Barack Obama as the bridge from one Bush to the next.
Yeah, agreed. Talk about that giant SUCKING sound that we’re hearing right now. Cue the claptrap about how tax cuts for the obscenely wealthy is “good” bc it’ll ensure that jobs are created… except that jobs won’t be created by said tax cuts. ugh.
Not that I’m aware of except hitting the edit button and adding a post script.
Thanks, I want the bumper sticker.
I wish I had it in me to organize a 2 million person march, but I do know I have it in me to attend and bring some other along.
Entirely ignoring the logic that IF they created jobs, unemployment wouldn’t be a problem RIGHT NOW WHILE WE HAVE THEM IN PLACE!
Makes me want to take them and shake them.
I wouldn’t be surprised…. shudder….
Obama = bag man
(dont worry he gets a cut, and in 50 years they will polish him up in the history books)
I’d go. In a hot second.
It’s the same logic that is dictated by that dreadful magazine cover article (Time? Newsweek?) about the plight of women in Afganistan, who are brutalized by the Taliban (which is awful). The “logic” being that the USA must continue staying there waging war for the sake of Afghani women. Which entirely ignores the fact that the USA is waging war there NOW, and THIS brutality occurred to that Afghani woaman WHILE THE US TROOPS were there.
Like: duh!!!!!!!
Sadly, many citizens do not have the intellect to grasp very simple facts like this.
They apparently aren’t logical at all. If people were working they would be buying stuff, paying taxes and paying into SS. What’s so difficult about about? Common sense.
Jon Walker has a fresh cross-post up: LEAP Director Neill Franklin Backs National Black Police Association Endorsement of Prop 19: Legalizing Marijuana Will Cut Violent Crime
Thanks, it’s repackaging a shit sandwich and thinking it will sell.
Exactly! That was the first thing that crossed my mind. If that was going to happen without our troops there, WHY did it happen WITH them there? How stupid do they think I am?
The only Democrat I care at all about is Russ Feingold.
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/thefix/the-line/-15-california-democratic-cont.html
The Senate races look hideous. I’d bet the Senate switches to GOP control. Grease the skids for impeachment! Maybe it will be a BiPartisan effort, Barry!
Yep. This isn’t a shit sandwich….it’s a turdburger. Give me strength.
The really ugly thing is that when they lose big, the Democrats will blame those same liberals they’ve been ignoring and badmouthing all this time. They won’t learn the proper lesson.
Citizens don’t get that extending the “Bush tax cuts” means only tax cuts for the very, very top. They think that the “Bush tax cuts” apply to them. Therefore, they (with some logic actually) are in favor of “extending the cuts” because they are deluded into believing that they will personally benefit from it.
Low information voters misled by RushGlenn, etc.
Yeah, I had to laugh at two of the “don’ts”
Don’t claim it will reduce costs and reduce the deficit. (haha, didn’t we here at FDL IMMEDIATELY say there were NO COST CONTROLS! Duh)
and
Don’t claim any benefits other than in a personal context. Hahaha, they know it’s bullshit unless they happen to be talking to one of those minority of folks impacted in a good way.
God where are all those health care defenders now, because THEY OWN THIS SHIT SANDWICH.
And it’s in our interest to make sure they OWN IT FOREVER so that our credibility will be realized in the future.
FDL gets it right. Yet FDL is the “loony left”. It’s loony to get things right. Only in a loony world assholes.
Well, in truth, they don’t think that YOU are stupid. That’s why Gibbs and Rahm have told you to STFU (because it’s citizens like you who tell the truth).
The PTB believe that most citizens are too stupid to reason it out. And the PTB are mostly correct about that. Sadly.
Gotta wonder how much money got wasted in her campaign, not to mention the political capital!
They’ll badmouth and blame us, so that they can pit the rest of the D’s against the DFH “wing” of the Democratic party. It’s all about dividing and conquering.
I’m not sure if there’s any “lesson” for the D’s to learn anymore. They’ve been co-opted by the corporations; they’ll get theirs for “doing their job.” If they get voted out: SO???? It seems to me that it doesn’t matter all that much in this grand Kabuki show we got going here. Sadly.
Yeah, they say “The Bush tax cuts to the top 1 percent of earners will expire at the end of this year if Congress fails to act….” and most people hear “The Bush tax cuts (bzzzzzz) WILL EXPIRE AT THE END OF THE YEAR IF CONGRESS FAILS TO ACT“.
They’ve already learned the only lesson that’s important to them: Corporate cronyism = bigger “campaign” checks.
THe ones in power now will, yes.
But those are the assholes we want gone.
No, I think the progressive Democrats around the country watching something like unfold will learn the real lesson, and be less likely to change their progressive ways once they move up the food chain to the national level.
I have no doubts that those in the positions of power in the Democratic National party will blame us, they’ll blame the weather, hell they’ll blame Elvis if they have to.
But if the seed is planted that progressives won’t show up unless the Democratic party starts rewarding them with stuff, then it will get noticed. It will take some time to work out, but it can happen. And then if you couple it with renewed vigor at the local level (both Norske and Southern Dragon spoke well on this topic) by us progressives ensuring that the new crop of Democrats remains loyal to the progressive principle, then there is a recipe for returning the party to it’s roots, IMO.
It’s long and slow, but so would starting a third party. And it’s dangerous, because if not enough send the message, then the message can be diluted enough.
But, if this doesn’t work, then try something else. One thing I can’t do is the same thing over again. I’m done with that.
So much for Dr. Dean’s 50 State Strategy. This must be part of Obamarahma and Tim Kaine’s 50 seat strategy.
Our health care system IS a shit sandwich: the more bread you have, the less shit you eat.
Niiiiiice!!!
I like that one, so, consider it stolen. :)
I wish I had your optimism. The problem is even if some people get it, the Begalas, the Davis’s, the Emanuels, the Kaines totally won’t and they will still be framing the conversation.
Yep. Ya got it. I’ve already had discussions with people who should be better informed, who believe that extending the Bush tax cuts will benefit them. They don’t want to believe that it only benefits the very top income earners. They WANT to believe that it benefits them.
Those people may actually “get it,” but they’re playing with numbers and figuring that it doesn’t matter either way.
Let’s face it. Whether D’s win or lose in Nov (or hereafter), it’s still win-win for both parties. They’re just 2 faces of the same corporate party, and if they play to their bosses, they will be rewarded. What is the loss for any of them, really? It’s all just a kabuki show to distract the masses.
I think it will make for a really interesting election if Bloomberg runs as he’s threatened to do.
All the more reason for Reid to sit on them and let them expire but he’s determined to extend them.
All true.
Oh boy. Super Big Business vs Mega Big Business vs Ultra Big Business.
Well sure. Of course, YOU are correct. But who do you think Reid is actually working for??? NOT his average voter constituent, and that’s for sure!
Let’s be fair, or true to our school, or something, but not more bitter than necessary. Who didn’t know that whoever won seats and office in 2008 would be trashed and dashed by the melted-down economy? And thrown out of office? It’s not as if the Republicans who nominated McCain and let him pick Palin were in it to win. Those were honorable mention candidates. Happy days will be here again, they knew.
In 1976 the Republicans also threw the election, also because of the looming economic catastrophe. Had Ford said as much as Hi, how ya doin to a single African American, he would have won. One vote for Ford instead of for Carter in every precinct, and Ford wins in a landslide. But then the Democrats would have won in 1980, and like forever after. Opuleeze don’t tell us again about ‘Poland’.
I think that’s the first time anyone’s ever said “I wish I had your optimism” to me. :)
Needless to say, I’m a very negative person. I’m diagnosed with severe depression which drugs and years of therapy haven’t cured (they want me to do electric shock therapy and I’m NOT doing that).
So, it’s kinda funny hearing that. :)
But no, I’m not really all that optimistic. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Democrats got roundly defeated because every progressive voter withheld their votes and the Democratic Party’s answer was to move further to the right. And it wouldn’t surprise me (this is in fact what I think will happen) if not so many progressives withheld their votes, and the Democrats not only didn’t lose the House, they didn’t lose that many seats overall, and they therefore are more convinced than ever that their corporatist ways are the right way in a world with batshit crazy Republicans and Citizens United.
And I beleive we’re going to go full bore into fascism, and then the inevitable revolution that results (this story has been repeated in history so many times it’s tiring) and this time due to technology advances either the fascists actually hold power forever or pretty much end civililization as we know it.
Guess that’s not really optimism though. Sorry.
I think the music is PERFECT! It is tentative, soft and meek, just like the democrats!
What else is gnu.
Pretty much true, but also BHO is much more of a trojan horse stealth Republican than Carter ever was. But sure, the Republics wanted a DINO to win bc it makes RINOs look better. And so: on it goes…
Sorry about your depression and good luck.
Sadly, I’m pretty much in agreement with your dystopian future outlook. I feel the same way, esp given the overall tone of the “conversation” these days. I’ve always despised Dr. Laura S, but the fact that she can descend to that and still get an interview with Larry King (yes, also a dolt, but still) speaks volumes. And she didn’t have to apologize, either: just victimize herself.
Caveat emptor. These are not empty words or gestures.
BHO would have been an okay Secretary of State, or Commissioner of Bowling if such a position were created, but I don’t think Bill would have planted an organic vegetable garden. I could be wrong about that.
(((OFG)))
I’m totally demoralized by the Obama presidency but I really value your take on it, helps
I’m guessing you’re absolutely correct…Karen Hughes probably just loves this ad spot.
Unfortunately…for all the wrong reasons.
I doubt very much Palin will let her political capital go to Jeb if she has a tiny chance of running for POTUS herself. But I do hope that a Sarah/Jeb tickets comes out for 2012. It will make for a nice battle.
Hahaha

Listen, Joe Biden says that the Democrats will hold Congress. So, there is nothing to worry about. If Joe says it, it must be true.
All I know is that I put an ad in Craig’s List for a small part time (10 hours) job and got 15 responses. A number by people with great experience, etc. who I just had to ask, “Why are you applying for a job like this?”
They all said they needed it, and “the economy.”
Not a good sign. I was shocked. Really shocked.
Really? You were shocked?
We advertised a part-time job with no benefits recently on Craig’s List, and we had to take the ad down an hour later. We got over 100 applicants, and many of them were over-qualified.
See today’s Rude Pundit for a discussion about McDonald’s advertising 600 positions in the western states. Most were part-time, $8 an hour, no benefit positions. They had people lined up down the streets applying. Again, many were former “professionals” with multiple degrees and high levels of experience.
No offense, but where have you been lately?
Har… well ya never know what Bill will do next.
Hey, OFG, have you ever tried lamictal? It did wonders for my husband when nothing else would. It’s not an anti-depressant (it’s used for epilepsy) but is successful with treating it.
Not hiring anyone.
We ended up with someone we would have had to pay likely $60 to $100 an hour a few years ago.
I knew the situation was not good, but until you actually post an ad, it’s hard to really appreciate HOW bad it is out there.
No.
Great. An ad that asks people questions they will answer in the negative.
Particularly South Dakota.
Bahaha.
I cannot play the video nor does it seem to exist on youtube. But I will take the word of posters that it is not a good ad. I am not surprised as as I feared that Obama’s fear of taking on the republicans head on would project itself onto the DNC. I read his recent speech on stump in Texas, and it was well, weak, very weak. I am sure the delivery was amazing, but content wasn’t.
In reading the speech I had the idea that if somebody came in from the outside, Obama’s main grip was that republicans were not playing with him, and only a few bad bankers among millions of them caused the crisis.
Obama says the gopers have bad ideas at times, but never goes beyond that. The speech was very much like he has run the executive branch. And so it seems the DNC may have taken the same wimp attitude if I can only see the ad…
Oh its done more than that. Obama appointed Liz Fowler the medical industry insider and shill to write the administrative rules for HCR. And right after that declared that the high risk pools cannot cover abortion, which was in no way mandated by the bill. The fix is in–all of the other stuff is just distraction.
