Made me angry when he did it and knowing it has cost us trillions over the years make me angrier. The bullshit deficit script now only makes it worse. There certainly seems to be absolutely not one soul wth a voice that understands how to solve problems.

It seems to me that one would have to have a heart in order for it to be repaired. I have yet to see any evidence that Darth Cheney ever possessed the organ in question.

They have to plug him in at night to be recharged!

All that’s left after this is a transplant. Imagine being an organ doner, dying, and your loved ones find out that it is your heart that is keeping the evil one alive. Chilling.

I think probably Dick Cheney was defective from birth. The only silver lining here is that with each visit to the hospital, he gets closer to his eternal ‘reward.’ He’ll be with his own kind soon.

I think for most people, the growth of compassion is a natural life process, and lack of compassion is the result of ignoring the small voice of conscience.

I wish Dick Cheney good health, however as a taxpayer I’m tired of paying for this guys state-of-the-art, best-heart-money-can-buy healthcare. Let him pay for it himself. I can think of a few other things I would rather see my taxpayer money going towards. Namely, war criminal prosecution.

Come now, we have to look forward, not get stuck on mistakes in the past.. blah blah blah.

FWIW, I found this story interesting for these reasons:

1. Nice that Cheney – who has to be richer than many (due to ill-gotten gains from the MIC, aka, Halliburton/Xe contracts) – gets exceptional, cutting edge, state of the art health care due to his socialized health care paid for by US taxpayers. Of course, conservatives will be charged to clap and cheer for Cheney’s socialized health care by the rightwing noise machine with no lack of irony or cosmic disconnect.

2. Cheney has no pulse!!!!! Finally confirms the ghoul he is/was/will be.

3. RM is the first/only one to report on this procedure. Why the deep, dark secrecy?? I don’t think it’s bc no one cares. Is it bc of how powerful he really is in running things? Don’t want to scare those who follow his orders??

And so on. Very weird story in some ways. Too bad that most citizens will never get health care even remotely as good as what Darth Vadar gets routinely.

I would prefer, as a taxpayer, to contibute to health care basics for all citizens, not just super expensive, cutting edge stuff for the super wealthy, like Cheney.

Speaking of transplants, someone of his age and condition would normally not be eligible for a transplant. But will Dick’s clout get him an exception?
